00:00Some parts of the banks of the Camaralan against rice hoarding and rice smuggling were inspected by House Speaker Martin Robualdez
00:10at Manila International Container Port where it was found that there are millions of kilos of imported rice.
00:18Together with Speaker Robualdez at the on-site inspection yesterday at the Container Yard, House Deputy Majority Leader Erwin Tulfo,
00:28BOC Commissioner Benvenido Rubio and other officials were present.
00:34According to Speaker Robualdez, this is part of the continuous efforts of the Camaralan against rice hoarding and rice smuggling
00:44that will affect its price and supply.
00:46The Camaralan's leader called on importers not to exceed 30 days before exporting their rice to the port
00:56because this could lead to a problem.
01:00Robualdez also urged everyone to help each other.
01:07According to the Customs Bureau, there are 523 containers of imported rice in the MICP yard
01:16where each container contains 25 metric tons of rice worth P750,000 per container.
01:29Despite the Customs, they are postponing the period.
01:33I hope they will stop their practice so that we can export all the rice we want.
01:40All the rice we buy.
01:41As long as the price is fixed, we will be able to reach everyone.
