00:00Good afternoon. Let's first update on the time of day this Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
00:08At the moment, this is the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
00:12This is where the wind flows from the northern and southern hemispheres
00:16and it is now affecting Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan.
00:21And because of this, in the ITCZ, we expect heavy rainfall and heavy rains,
00:26especially in eastern Visayas, central Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan.
00:32So we expect heavy rainfall in those areas,
00:36especially here in Caraga, northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula.
00:40Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and the rest of the country,
00:44partly cloudy to cloudy skies, there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
00:49At the moment, we are monitoring a low-pressure area outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:56This low-pressure area has a low chance of thunderstorms in the next 24 hours,
01:01but it does not rule out the possibility of thunderstorms in the next five days.
01:06At the moment, we are not monitoring a low-pressure area or thunderstorms inside our Philippine Area of Responsibility,
01:13but we do not rule out the possibility that by Thursday or Friday,
01:18there will be a complete LPA in the east of the extreme northern Luzon.

01:32So we will continue to monitor the upcoming updates of the forecast.
01:38For tomorrow, for Palawan, we expect that it will still rain for tomorrow because of the ITCZ.
01:46In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies, there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
01:53The temperature in Metro Manila is 26 to 33 degrees Celsius,
01:5825 to 32 degrees Celsius in Lawag and Legazpi,
02:0217 to 25 degrees Celsius in Baguio,
02:0525 to 34 degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao,
02:08and 24 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.
02:13The temperature tomorrow in Puerto Princesa and Calayaan Islands is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:21For tomorrow, Visayas and Mindanao,
02:24in the eastern Visayas, central Visayas, Caraga, northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula,
02:30there are still chances of rain in the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
02:35And then, in the southern part of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:39there are fair weather conditions again and there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
02:43Our colleagues in the Regional Services Division will issue thunderstorm advisory,
02:48rainfall advisory or heavy rainfall warning if necessary.
02:53The temperature tomorrow in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and Tacloban will be 26 degrees Celsius.
02:59From 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:0327 to 32 degrees Celsius in Iloilo,
03:0625 to 33 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga,
03:09and 25 to 34 degrees Celsius in Dabao.
03:14We still do not have a high-level gale warning in any province of our country.
03:19For the three-day weather outlook of our main cities,
03:23in Metro Manila, Baguio City, Legazpi City,
03:26Friday to Sunday, partly cloudy to cloudy skies,
03:30and there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
03:34However, in the eastern part of Northern Luzon,
03:37it is possible to bring rain if there is a low-pressure area east of extreme northern Luzon.
03:45In Visayas, we can see improving weather conditions in Metro Cebu, Iloilo City and Tacloban City.
03:52Friday to Sunday, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with localized thunderstorms.
03:59In Metro Cebu, the highest temperature is 33 degrees Celsius.
04:0326 to 32 degrees Celsius in Iloilo City and 25 to 33 degrees Celsius in Tacloban City.
04:12In Metro Dabao, Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga City,
