00:00Thank you Italian sandwich to go with our Italian car
00:12Fit a couple grocery bags in there
00:17What is going on you guys welcome back to the channel today
00:20We're gonna be showing you what it's like to live with the Lamborghini Huracan Evo spider
00:23I'll link my previous video with the in-depth POV review and drive of this car right here for you to check out and again
00:29I want to give a big shout out to Monza exotics for making this video possible
00:32I've linked their website below in the description of the video
00:35All right, so let's get rolling and show you guys what it is like to live with the Lamborghini Huracan Evo spider
00:43Now pulling off here, we've got the top down obviously and the car is in Strada
00:47Which is a street mode and it's set with the automatic transmission
00:51Certainly the most comfortable drive mode for you to just cruise around town
00:55If you don't want too much of a hands-on driving experience and you just want to chill
01:01Other nice thing is that the car is very quiet when it's in this mode
01:04Versus Corso, which you'll see in a little bit and again, you can refer to the full in-depth like 40 minute video. I did
01:13Full POV and review and drive of this car. So if you want the full
01:18Technical specs and all that stuff go watch that video because this is just gonna be more of a practicality video
01:24On what it's like living with this car, especially if it were your daily
01:34Now we'll go ahead and put the car from Strada into sport and then we'll also hit this M here
01:40Which puts the car in manual so you can use the paddles to shift
01:55I'm actually gonna go ahead and put the top up just for the sake of the video. I
01:59Know the audio is a little rough with all that wind noise. So
02:03Put that top up and again, that's actually done in 17 seconds
02:08And can be done either stopped obviously or it speeds up to 31 miles an hour, which is very nice
02:18And now that we're getting out of the residential area
02:20I'll go ahead and put the car into Corsa or race mode and you'll hear just how much louder this vehicle is
02:34Got that tire light came on but I just put air in the tires so it just hasn't calibrated yet also turn on that AC
02:42Not the nicest weather out but normally I would still drive with the top down however just for the video's sake we will
02:49Keep that top up
02:52You
03:17We'll go ahead and put down this rear divider window here which is done with that button
03:21She'll let a little more engine noise into the cabin
03:33I'm sure you can already tell how much louder that car is once it's in Corsa a lot less neighbor-friendly
03:46Sounds so good though
03:49Hard to beat the symphony of a naturally aspirated v10
03:59Ridiculous wrap on that Cybertruck
04:02Just reviewed one of those as well. I'll drop that link here if you want to check that out. Definitely a controversial vehicle
04:08I'd never buy one personally, but I can appreciate how
04:12Wild it is
04:19You
04:32It's just so hard to beat that symphony of a naturally aspirated v10
04:48You
05:08All right, so we're gonna make a little gym run now
05:13I'll show you guys what this is like in the parking garage
05:32And
05:34For the sake of our ears and not setting off car alarms
05:36We're gonna put the car back in the strata just for the video
05:40Now obviously you are very low so a little bit of a stretched you can get to parking ticket here
05:50Sweet there we go
05:52I
06:22I always find myself parking at the lower level down here all the way in the back just
06:28to get away from as many people as possible, especially in something like this.
06:59Alrighty.
07:01So there we have it in the gym parking structure.
07:07Nothing impractical about that at all, other than obviously you're a little bit low to
07:11reach that parking ticket when you come through the meter there, but, I mean, what do you
07:15expect in a Lamborghini?
07:19Alrighty, back on the road now.
07:22Hop in this beauty.
07:29Ah.
07:34And even that strata to start up when the engine's still hot and in the garage is very,
07:40very loud.
07:42Let's get rolling.
07:54Okay, alright, I'll give it one rev.
07:59Just sounds too good not to.
08:06Alrighty.
08:08Kind of the same deal here, pulling out with the reach, although not as bad.
08:17There we go.
08:18Perfect.
08:19And now we'll go ahead and throw the car back into Corsa.
08:28Not setting off any car alarms in the garage now.
08:31Alright.
08:47And that Lamborghini LDF 7-speed transmission, which is a dual clutch, is just so smooth
08:52in this car.
08:53It's even more pronounced when it's in strata and you're really just cruising with the car
08:58in automatic, as many people probably would if they were dealing with this, although I
09:03do enjoy driving it in manual in Corsa mode, and it's still extremely smooth, but the gear
09:09shifts are so instantaneous and you don't even feel them when the car is in strata and
09:13it's shifting on its own, so that's another very nice thing about this car that makes
09:18it decently practical.
09:28Alright.
09:29And that's 631 horsepower in 4th gear.
09:58631 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque is certainly more than enough for the road
10:03or any daily applications that you would throw at this car.
10:24And for a supercar, it's still just so smooth and so approachable as well.
10:28I know I go over a lot more details in the driving dynamics in the full review I did.
10:34Again, just to reiterate how comfortable this supercar really is to drive.
10:54Oh, this sounds so freaking good.
11:23Oh, yeah.
11:52Funny too how you go about a mile inland and that marine layer just disappears and
12:04it's a nice sunny day now, so we'll go ahead and we'll put that top down.
12:15And just like that in 17 seconds, windows down as well as that back divider.
12:37Alright, we're going to mix it up and we'll go through a little drive-through coffee shop
12:41now as opposed to the normal spots that I hit.
12:47Alright.
12:48Put it in strata so I don't destroy these poor girl's ears.
12:57And just like that, it goes from being nice and cool by the water to absolutely baking
13:01like two miles inland.
13:03Again, right here you have that 8.4-inch touchscreen which controls just about everything in the
13:08car.
13:10Nice update from the initial Huracans, that's for sure.
13:16I have noticed too, the parking sensors in this thing love to go crazy.
13:20And it's a decently tight little drive-through, so.
13:25Even in strata, this thing's still pretty loud and bassy.
13:31I think I know what I want.
13:32Yeah, can I just do a small iced vanilla latte with regular milk?
13:36Awesome, I appreciate it.
13:37It is quite funny being in a drive-through with how low this thing is.
13:41A little bit of a tight squeeze, but not too bad.
13:43Okay, now first things first, let's pop this, toss that in the cup holder, and then we will
13:49put the roof back up.
13:56And I will show you guys a little bit of freeway driving so you can kind of get an idea of
14:01that.
14:03It's also very nice in this car.
14:10So we've got windows up, AC back on, we'll put the car back in Corsa, and it is already
14:15in the manual mode.
14:17And I'll demonstrate now too this lift.
14:19I never find a need to honestly use it, just if you know how to take the angle of the driveway.
14:24But for video's sake, we'll go ahead and we'll put it on just so you guys have an idea that
14:28again, the front axle lift raises the front end a little bit so it's easier coming in
14:32and out of the driveways.
14:35Perfect.
14:36As you can see, just cut it like that.
14:40All good.
14:41And then it auto lowers once you hit about 35, I want to say.
14:46But pulling off, we will go ahead and hop on the freeway now.
15:01Nice little coffee pit stop location.
15:20And this is with the car in Corsa mode, so that's why the engine is a little bit louder.
15:24The ride's obviously stiff in this car, but it's not uncomfortable in any way.
15:54Oh, how do you beat that noise?
18:18Nice spec on that Panamera.
18:32And these cupholders in the Huracans are my absolute favorite.
18:36They get the job done, but they're not the most stable, so it's a little bit sketchy
18:39if you're cornering like in canyons or getting on it a little bit.
18:42I've actually, in a different Huracan, I've had my drink fly out just from accelerating.
18:47So not the most user friendly.
18:51And in terms of visibility in the Huracans, obviously you're very low, so that's the biggest
18:58thing to know.
18:59But visibility out of the car is very good.
19:01There's not many blind spots, honestly.
19:03The field of view is just fantastic in this car.
19:05Your only downside, well, if you look at it as a downside, but it's just one of the things
19:10that comes with living with a supercar is how low you are.
19:13As you can see, I mean, we're basically below the cargo area of this box truck here.
19:20But again, that kind of comes with the territory of owning a supercar.
19:24Apart from that, though, the visibility is very nice out of it.
19:28Only thing is they're not the most spacious, obviously, unlike the Aventador.
19:34I have the seat all the way back and all the way down, and my head's actually scraping
19:40the roof just a tiny bit sometimes when I look around.
19:43And then my knees are kind of cramped like this by the wheel.
19:48So it's not the most friendly car for taller drivers, but it's still manageable.
19:56And of course, it's a little easier if you're the passenger.
19:59The seat doesn't go back as much, but you don't have that steering column in your way,
20:02so you can kind of spread your feet out a little bit better.
20:11See what I'm talking about with that cup holder?
20:13Not the most reliable.
20:25Demonstrate to them more comfort driving.
20:27We'll put the car back into Strada, and then we'll take it out of the manual mode
20:31so it's automatically shifting now.
20:33And you can just see how much quieter it gets and smoother.
20:38So again, for people that are going to want a daily Huracan,
20:42which I know not too many people do, but there are, I actually know someone that does,
20:47much more comfortable and pleasant, I guess you could say,
20:50when it is in Strada with the car in automatic, less smoother.
20:55Although it is the most fun to drive in Corsa with the paddle shifters enabled.
21:01With that said, though, if you're living with this as your only car,
21:05it would get a little old here and there if you just want to chill
21:08and you don't want that loud engine in your ear.
21:11But as you can see, it's still very, very practical when the car is in this Strada street mode
21:18with the transmission automatically shifting.
21:23That way, too, your hands are a little more free if you have a coffee or you're holding something else
21:28so you don't have to hit the paddles or anything like that.
21:33Very smooth, though, just glides along the road when it is in automatic.
21:37And we'll go ahead and put it back into manual, drop it into Corsa again.
21:54And it is for sure more pleasant just kind of cruising if you want to relax
22:11when you've got that car in the automatic mode with it in Strada,
22:16not as aggressive or visceral, which is what I like about this car.
22:19But if you want to break from that and want to be able to just kind of chill out,
22:23still fully capable of doing so in this car.
22:27It's a very calm, smooth, quiet ride.
22:38Nice, too, if you need to sneak around your neighborhood maybe in the morning,
22:41starting it up where it is still going to be loud, obviously, on that cold start.
22:45But it's quiet.
22:48I mean, you can barely hear that engine when you're just cruising like this at a low RPM.
22:53But obviously, you can put it in Corsa and get to that 8,500 RPM redline
22:59and it's a completely different experience.
23:10We'll go ahead and do that now. We'll put it back into manual and then drop her down to Corsa.
23:18Lose a few gears and listen to that.
23:26I mean, just music.
23:30So, yeah, you could either be courteous in Strada or you could piss your neighbors off in Corsa.
23:38The choice is yours.
23:59So,
24:29smooth.
25:00So,
25:11so
25:21so
25:30so
25:42It just sounds so good.
26:00Beautiful day out now.
26:15Awesome spec on that wagon. I love those monoblocks.
26:20All right, get some lunch now.
26:30So,
26:43perfect.
26:50All right, so we got our Italian sandwich to go with our Italian car.
26:55Perfect little wing table on the back. You know the drill.
27:12How you doing?
27:15Good.
27:19And that 1016 Industries perfumante style carbon wing makes the perfect table.
27:26All right, so while we're here, do a little grocery run too.
27:31Nothing too crazy, but show you that three and a half cubic feet of space.
27:36Open that front trunk. You could either do it with the key or inside the car.
27:39I've noticed the key doesn't work for some reason.
27:42So, got to revert to that button right here.
27:45Opens your front trunk.
27:48And again, that reveals three and a half cubic feet of space.
27:51So, not too crazy, but you can fit a couple grocery bags in there.
27:56And then assuming you don't have a passenger with you,
27:59also throw whatever you need in the passenger seat as well.
28:03But yeah, when it comes to cargo room, not the most practical car,
28:08but it'll get the job done if you need to get a few groceries.
28:11All right, did a little lunch run.
28:14Hit the grocery store, fire her back up, take off, get back on the road.
28:19Throw it into Corsa, which that will automatically set it in manual mode too.
28:24And get rolling.
28:44So, is it a practical grocery getter?
28:57I guess that depends on how many groceries you're getting.
29:00Probably fit four, maybe five bags in the front and then fill this up too if you need to.
29:05But it certainly doesn't have the most room.
29:10Although for a supercar, it's decent.
29:12Not quite the amount of room you would find in a 911, but it's better than no room.
29:28For me, with how often I hit the grocery store, it would get by just fine.
29:40As for the overall practicality of the Huracan Evo Spyder in terms of a daily,
30:00you could 100% get by with it, given you don't need to carry more than one other passenger,
30:06whatever you're doing, and you don't have lots of big items to take with you.
30:10If it's just you and you don't have many things you take with you,
30:14there's no reason you couldn't take this car anywhere.
30:17And it is also all-wheel drive, so if you live somewhere with more wet weather, snow,
30:22you could get by with it as well.
30:24It's no Raptor, but it can handle a little bit of weather.
30:37And now it's not the most efficient car.
30:41You're getting, I believe, 13 miles per gallon city and 18 on the highway,
30:45but at the same time, this is a Lamborghini with a V10,
30:48so you can't expect Prius fuel economy out of a car like this.
30:52And if you're purchasing a Lamborghini as a daily or even just a fun car to have on the weekends,
30:59I highly doubt that your gas consumption and fuel costs are going to be of concern to you.
31:06If you're going through more traffic-y areas, you can go ahead and toss it into Strada, which is street.
31:11Take her out of manual, too, if you even want to,
31:13and it's just a much more smooth, laid-back experience driving this car.
31:19Although it's not as fun, not how I like to drive it,
31:22it's a good break if this is your only car, if you want to chill and not have to drive it so aggressively.
31:28Great option for that, too.
31:31To reiterate, also, if you want to know a lot more in-depth information on the car,
31:35I've got that nearly 40-minute POV review and drive that I'll also have linked within this video,
31:41if you want to check that out.
31:42I'll go into much deeper detail about the car and everything there,
31:45along with different driving dynamics of it and such,
31:47but I figured this would be a good video to kind of give you a day-in-the-life perspective
31:52of what it's like to live with the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder.
31:56So, whether or not the Evo Spyder makes a practical daily is really up to you on your needs,
32:02because for me, personally, this would be the perfect daily.
32:05There's nothing I couldn't do in this car that I need to do on a daily basis,
32:09but, again, if you've got kids or cargo, probably not the best pick for your daily.
32:26And now, this is a good insight for you on how this car is in traffic.
32:49Honestly, not bad. It doesn't overheat or fuss or anything like that,
32:53but it definitely is better.
32:54You know, we'll put it back into Strada.
32:58A lot more comfortable driving it in Strada when you're in traffic like this.
33:10Hey, hear those squeaky carbon ceramic brakes?
33:14Nice 992.
33:16Now, that's a perfect daily.
33:18Little friendlier than this car is on the wallet, too,
33:21given that this has a starting MSRP of just under $300,000.
33:26But I will say how approachable and nice this is,
33:29that you can daily drive it if you really want to without making too many sacrifices.
33:34It's not uncomfortable like a lot of other supercars are.
33:37Apart from if you're a taller driver, yeah, it's a little bit cramped.
33:40The seats are comfortable. You don't have buckets.
33:42It's not too stiff on the ride. It's just stiff enough.
33:45But you can still comfortably cruise in this thing without making too many sacrifices on that front.
34:14All right, now that we're kind of getting out of that traffic,
34:16we'll go ahead again and put it in manual.
34:19Of course, drop a few gears.
34:27Just listen to that naturally aspirated V10 scream.
34:30So, so good.
34:53Another thing to note about these Evos is that they're pretty reliable cars, too.
34:57You know, they can take a beating in terms of driving them rough and having fun in them.
35:01And you won't really be faced with too many problems or too much maintenance
35:05as long as you're up to date on it and take care of everything that needs to be taken care of.
35:28All right.
35:41So we're going to go ahead and get some gas now just to show you guys not that we need it.
35:46So I don't know if you can really tell here.
35:49We started off the video with a full tank and we're not even down two notches.
35:54And I've probably driven, I'd say, give or take 40 miles.
36:24All right.
36:43So just a super, super quick top, super quick top up.
36:51Another 991.2 Turbo S. Very cool.
37:21So that'll just about conclude our day in the life of what it's like to live with a Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder.
37:40I think I'm doing a lot more cars in this little series and probably another video pretty soon with this car.
37:45I want to do some canyon driving with it.
37:47However, that just about covers what it's like to live with this car for a day.
37:52Well, ladies and gentlemen, that brings us to the end of our video of what it's like to live with a Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder.
37:59I want to thank you guys again for watching and give a big shout out to Mons Exotics for making this video possible.
38:04Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe, and we'll see you in the next video.
