A 35-year-old woman in Sabah's Kota Marudu district has been sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay RM3,000 in compensation for stealing from a victim and using her bank cards to make purchases.

00:2620, where the accused stole the purse of a victim while talking to the victim.
00:31The victim lost several bank cards, along with 1,800 ringgit in cash.
00:37The victim, a civil service retiree, reported the incident to the police on the same day.
00:44Police said investigations revealed that the accused used the cards for essential goods
00:48for her family.
00:49They said the accused planned to flee to Kuala Lumpur, but she was arrested at the Kota Kinabalu
00:55International Airport on August 12.
