00:06are ensuring that the hosting of the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships in Puerto Princesa, Palawan will go smoothly.

00:22The biggest Dragon Boat Race event this year was held here in the Philippines.
00:28In the theme of Paddle Together for Climate Action, the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships will be held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan from October 28 to November 4.
00:42The best paddlers from more than 20 countries are expected to participate and compete in 54 competitions.
00:52In an interview with Philippine Canoe, KAYA, and Dragon Boat Federation President Leonora Escoliante, she assured that the hosting of the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships in the Philippines will go smoothly.
01:06When it comes to preparation, all of us, especially the competition committee, is working very hard to make this hosting successful, first ever in Southeast Asia and second time in Asia.
01:21According to Escoliante, this is also a good opportunity to strengthen the sports tourism of the country.
01:28This is a huge potential, especially in Puerto Princesa City and of course the whole island of Palawan and of course in our country.
01:39Because we are not only showcasing, playing for Dragon Boat, of course the beautiful views and the beautiful tourist spots in Puerto Princesa and the whole of Palawan will be realized.
01:55Escoliante was also invited by DASAL and SUPORTA for our Philippine National Dragon Boat Team to compete in the competition.
02:05I invite all of our countrymen to pray and of course we support our own team that will compete in the ICF World Dragon Boat Championship.
