00:00Most fans of Cardiff City will have never seen their team start a season as badly as they have this year, being their worst start in 94 years.
00:10So far they're winless, with five losses and a solitary draw away to Swansea, and the board finally decided to pull the trigger and relieve manager Errol Bullitt of his duties.
00:19He's only been in charge since June 2023, and managed a mid-table finish last year, and was then rewarded with a two-year deal in June.
00:27Just a few months later, and Cardiff City are now facing appointing a twelfth permanent manager in the last 14 years.
00:34Omar Izza has been named as the interim coach for the time being, but a number of names have already cropped up as possible full-time replacements for Bullitt.
00:42Their current favourite is Stephen Schumacher, who was sacked by Stoke last week, with Charlton manager Welshman Nathan Jones also on the list of possible replacements.
00:51Whoever does take over from Bullitt will have plenty to do to turn things round, but with only six games gone so far, there will hopefully be plenty of time to fix things.
