00:00The Department of Migrant Workers has opened thousands of opportunities for those who want to become marines.
00:07This is the latest mega job fair that is part of the 25th National Maritime Week and 29th National Seafarers Day.

00:21Jimmy Reyes came home from Dubai last January. He worked as a staff in a cleaning company for more than two years.
00:35He is a single mom, so he agreed to give his two children a better life.
00:42And when he found out that the Department of Migrant Workers has a mega job fair, he did not miss the opportunity to apply and become a marine.
00:52Jimmy's target is to apply as a yacht steward.
00:55The salary in the Philippines is not enough.

01:13Jimmy is one of the thousands of applicants who applied for the Department of Migrant Workers' Mega Job Fair in Pasay City.

01:34More than 3,000 jobs are included in the maritime industry.
