Some 136 people, including underaged children, were hauled up by the police during an Op Samseng Jalanan on Sunday (Sept 22) to deter illegal racing at Jalan Meru Raya-Klebang, Ipoh.

Perak police chief Datuk Comm Azizi Mat Aris said those involved were aged between 12 and 45.

00:39Commissioner Azizi hopes those involved, including the young children, would repent and stay away from illegal racing.
00:47Two men in their 20s were also tested positive for drugs.
00:51Meanwhile, a policeman suffered light injuries after a motorcyclist crashed into him during the operation.
