A drug syndicate was busted with the seizure of RM1.76mil worth of drugs at KLIA2.

A 29-year-old local man and a 43-year-old Indonesian man were also detained as they were attempting to board a flight to Sibu, Sarawak.

Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk S. Sasikala Devi said police detained the suspects at about 4am on April 22 at KLIA2 after finding drugs in their luggage and sling bag.

00:00 On 22 April 2024, at around 4am, the KLIA police and the KLIA Drug Crime Investigation Department
00:15 managed to arrest a local man and a foreign citizen at the KLIA-2 airport.
00:25 The police managed to seize 7,000 grams of methamphetamine,
00:32 5,950 grams of pill aramine,
00:38 61 grams of pill ecstasy,
00:42 which was found in a bag of sandang and a bag of C-pills belonging to both suspects.
00:50 The police then made another raid on a condominium in Sri Kembangan
01:00 and managed to seize 9,000 grams of pill aramine 5 and 169.65 grams of ketamine.
01:11 The arrest of this case was of a local man and a foreign citizen,
01:20 each of them 29 and 44 years old, and both of them worked as construction workers.
01:28 The record of the robbery was obtained by the suspect.
01:32 The suspect had 4 record of robbery, one of which was under Section 39B and three of which were under Section 151A/ADB 1952.
01:48 The results of the initial search of the water tank showed that both suspects had positive amphetamine and methamphetamine.
01:58 Overall, the robbery was worth RM1.76 million and the stolen drugs were believed to be sold in Sarawak.

02:20 where the police confiscated the syndicate assets estimated to be worth RM31,077 as follows,
02:31 namely 5 items of jewelry worth RM25,600, 2 watches worth RM5,377 and cash worth RM100.

03:28 From the analysis of drug use, methamphetamine worth 7,000 grams can be administered to 35,000 users in a day
03:40 by taking into account the daily use of 0.2 grams.
03:45 Aromine 50 pills worth 14,950 grams can be administered to 74,750 users in a day by taking into account the daily use of 0.2 grams.
04:02 Pile ecstasy worth 61 grams can be administered to 200 users in a day by taking into account the daily use of 0.3 grams.
04:16 Ketamine worth 169.65 grams can be administered to 340 users in a day by taking into account the daily use of 0.5 grams.

04:35 are harassing the public by spreading information about the crime, especially related to drugs,
04:41 to the police in an effort to permanently suppress drug trafficking and drug use.
