00:00Again, the Department of Transportation ordered the implementation of the revised guidelines for toll expressways in the next year.
00:07According to Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, the penalties for violating the Joint Memorandum Circular 2024-001 in January
00:19should have been implemented last August 31, but it was postponed to October 1.
00:27Under the order passed by the DOTR, the Toll Regulatory Board, and the Land Transportation Office,
00:33the prohibition of tolls will be implemented using the Radio Frequency Identification or RFID.
00:40According to the DOTR, the information from the public consultation, including the data of the violations,
00:46can be used for the possible amendment of the order.
