The Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agrotourism (MAHA) 2024 exhibition, which ended on Sunday (Sept 22) after a 12-day run, recorded over RM41mil in direct sales.
Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu announced at the closing that MAHA 2024 saw the signing of 139 MoUs and MoAs worth RM7.2bil and attracted five million visitors, surpassing the three million target.
He noted increased sales of seedlings, saplings, and livestock, reflecting growing public interest in agriculture and food security.
