Local film production company, Burnley Film Studio, have teamed up with Culture Burnley for a two-year long film project to promote Burnley businesses and cultural organisations who are working together towards Burnley 2027 Year of Culture.
Over the past weekend, Burnley’s Ormerod Street Music Festival saw the latest initiative to bridge the gap between art and business, when Burnley born portrait artist, Sarah Dearden, was invited to create a portrait in front of the live audience of renowned entrepreneurial bar and club owner, Madge Nawaz (Bar Remedy) in the festival marquee.
