Construction work starts on derelict Burnley mill set as UCLan expansion plans gather pace

Workers have arrived at the former Newtown Mill on Queen's Lancashire Way in Burnley as construction work starts.

Burnley Council acquired the vacant Newtown Mill, on the edge of the town centre, to enable the next step of the University of Lancashire’s ambitious expansion plans for Burnley to go ahead.
