00:06This is what will provide solutions to the problems that we are facing today.

00:18This is what the Department of Science and Technology wants to achieve for the youths.

00:23According to the DOST, to use this,

00:25resources such as laboratories, guidebooks, and the empowerment of teachers are needed.

00:31This is what the youths want to achieve,

00:34that science has the ability to provide solutions and open up new opportunities.

00:40Everything starts with falling in love with the problem and not the solution.

00:47When we provide solutions and to open opportunities,

00:52we need to address the real-world problems so that we can develop real-world solutions.

01:01That is our focus right now.

01:03The Department of Science and Technology also provided a key component

01:05to help address the important issues that our society is facing.

01:11At the same time, the Department of Science and Technology continues to encourage youths

01:14to be interested in science.

01:16The National Youth Science, Technology, and Innovation Festival

01:21organized various innovations that can show the benefits of science.

01:26According to the students, this is a great help for them to be interested in science.

01:31I learned a lot and we discovered a lot.

01:34And also, being a campus journalist,

01:37we were able to broaden our knowledge and our knowledge of science.

01:43I always dreamt of being a science writer,

01:48but I was unable to reach that dream due to low accessibility.

01:56With this national event, I was able to explore more out of my comfort zone in campus journalism.

02:04According to DUST, there are programs to help youths.

02:08The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technologies Research and Development Council,

02:15they have this Young Innovators Program.

02:19There is also the SEI of I-Make, We-Make.

02:23There are also programs with colleges and universities.

02:28Most importantly, we wanted to highlight entrepreneurship and age does not matter.

02:40and there are other activities prepared for those who will be coming here.
