00:05Southwest Monsoon or Hanging Habagat will continue to blow in a large part of Luzon and Visayas,

00:11and it will continue to rain, especially in the western and northern portions of our country.

00:16Meanwhile, there is a low-pressure area in the north coast of northern Luzon, here in the northern Philippine Sea.

00:24And as of 3 in the morning, it has seen more than 700 kilometers east of Batanes.

00:28Based on our analysis, there is a low chance that this will be a low-pressure area for today,

00:34but we still expect that the probability that this will be a tropical depression over this weekend will increase.

00:41Based on our analysis, the weather disturbance that we have been talking about is moving northward towards Taiwan,

00:48and we are not taking away the chance that this will be a tropical depression,

00:52which we will call a typhoon if ever.

00:55This means that this low-pressure area has a low chance that it will landfall or affect any part of our country.

01:03So we will continue to monitor.

01:06For today, we still expect a high chance of rain in the western section of Luzon,

01:11including Zambales, Bataan, and Ilocos region, because it is still in the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

01:17Sometimes, it will rain heavily, especially in Zambales and Bataan,

01:21so be careful of flooding and landslides.

01:25In the remaining part of Luzon as part of Metro Manila,

01:29we still expect a cloudy sky that is accompanied by scattered rains and thunderstorms,

01:34so make sure to bring an umbrella if necessary.

01:37The chances of rain in Maycaguayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region are also high,

01:43especially in the afternoon and evening.

01:45Our temperature in Metro Manila is from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

01:52For our fellow countrymen here in Palawan as well as Samar Provinces,

01:56we still expect a cloudy sky that is accompanied by scattered rains and thunderstorms

02:01because it is still in the Southwest Monsoon, so be careful of flooding and landslides.

02:06In the remaining part of Visayas, we still expect fair weather conditions

02:10or a cloudy sky that is accompanied by scattered rains and thunderstorms,

02:16especially in Patimpanay Island and Negros Occidental.

02:20Our temperature in Metro Cebu is 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:24For our fellow countrymen in the majority of Mindanao,

02:27we still expect a cloudy sky or fair weather conditions from morning to afternoon.

02:32By the afternoon, it will be hot and foggy,

02:34and by the afternoon and evening, there is still a high chance of rain

02:39in Northern Mindanao and Caraga Region as well as parts of Davao Region.

02:44Our temperature in Metro Davao is 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:49For now, we have removed the gale warning over the western seaboards of Luzon,

02:54but moderate to rough seas or waves up to 3.5 meters high will continue.

04:11we still expect scattered rains and thunderstorms in Batanes,

04:14Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan.
