00:00I'll see you in a minute.
00:05But I want to uh ask you first
00:09doc about two uh last night and
00:12it's real simple to me. Um this
00:14guy's going to have a horrible
00:16life uh later when he's older
00:18with all these concussions. I
00:19don't care what anybody says.
00:21This guy's had so many
00:22concussions. I have been around
00:24athletes with concussions and
00:26they all end the same way
00:28So, it's definitely two is a
00:30very serious topic and I
00:31appreciate your nice intro
00:32Scott but what I don't have is
00:33a ringside seat to the Canelo
00:35fight next to you. So, that is
00:37unbelievable. That is truly
00:39unbelievable that you do not I
00:41have all people that doesn't
00:42have a ringside seat. I I
00:44thought you would hook me up
00:45Scott. Come on. You got one
00:46next to you. Where are the
00:47people with the they they've
00:49all gone over to the T-Mobile
00:50Arena. I'm looking for I'm
00:52going to look for a ticket for
00:53you. Give me an hour. It's
00:55I'm joking. Look for two. Uh
00:58look, one concussion is serious.
01:01One concussion is too many. So,
01:03that's sort of the bad news.
01:04He's this is arguably his
01:06fourth. He's had three
01:07documented. Most people believe
01:09he had three in 2022. Now, it's
01:12his fourth. One is too many.
01:15Two, three, four. Yes. And and
01:19Mitch Morris and I'm not
01:21lobbying either way. I'm just
01:22stating facts. I agree with you
01:24there but Mitch Morris, a
01:26center for the Buffalo Bills.
01:27Now, Jacksonville Jaguars at
01:29Sports Industry Central, we've
01:30documented six concussions in
01:32his NFL career. Pat Fryer has
01:35had three in his young career
01:36as a tight end. So, that's not
01:38good. It's not an excuse. It's
01:39not to say two or should keep
01:40going. Every concussion is
01:43serious and it becomes more
01:45susceptible. Look, will he be
01:47ultimately cleared? I don't
01:50know. Bottom line is I hope he
01:51is cleared where he has a
01:53choice to play or retire and
01:55I'm great for him to say I
01:57decide to retire. If he's going
01:59to come back, maybe he comes
02:00back with a guardian cap whether
02:02that helps or not is a
02:03different story but I will give
02:05you this. I agree with
02:06everything you said, Scott,
02:07about the concussions but the
02:09posturing that you see in the
02:10fencing response does not
02:12necessarily correlate to
02:14severity. The safest thing for
02:16two to do is of course stop
02:18playing the collision sport of
02:20football but you you could argue
02:22that's the same with his other
02:23fifty-two teammates. Let's let
02:25him clear from the symptoms.
02:27Hopefully, it's quickly and then
02:29he and his family can make an
02:31informed decision as to what he
02:32does or doesn't want to do next
02:34and what's safe or not safe.
02:36I'm glad that I'll rule them
02:38this week already. No one's
02:40rushing him back. Listen, this
02:43guy got thirty-five mil signing
02:45bonus. He got 100 million
02:46guaranteed first two years.
02:47He's getting the money that add
02:49up to thirty-five with a buck
02:51This guy's got more money than
02:53god and his future is at risk.
02:56His life is at risk. Advanced
02:58dementia is at risk. Alzheimer's
03:00CTE, brain damage, memory loss.
03:03I mean, you name it slurring. I
03:05mean, who needs it? Like, I
03:07can't imagine how I honestly,
03:09how stupid do you have to be if
03:11someone gave you 130 million
03:13dollars and said, all you have
03:16to do is stop playing football
03:18because we're giving you this
03:19We're giving you this money
03:20anyway, no matter what, you get
03:21the money who in their right
03:23mind would choose to have
03:24advanced dementia and brain
03:25damage the rest of their life
03:26when you're as young as him,
03:28he'd have to be literally
03:29stupid. Well, I hear you there
03:33and the scary thing, the scary
03:37thing about head injury. We
03:39don't know what his life would
03:41be like without this fourth
03:43concussion from already having
03:44the three, right? And so, yeah,
03:47it's it's it's look, as you
03:49know, Scott, we've talked
03:50offline and personally, the
03:52whole CTE issue and players and
03:54especially those that, you know,
03:56may have committed suicide as
03:57a result of it. It's near and
03:58dear to my heart. So I want
03:59what's best for to a no
04:00question. I'm just trying to
04:02spew the medical facts.
