00:00All right, we shift into Tua Tagovailoa and his recent attempts to get back on the football
00:11field for this week eight.
00:13Yes, and those attempts will start tomorrow when the Dolphins have practice.
00:19He's expected to practice in full and be cleared from concussion protocol, which he has been
00:25in, of course, since week two for the Dolphins.
00:28All right, let's start.
00:30We got a couple here from Tua.
00:32Here's the first one, Scotty.
00:33Of course, a lot of people have had a lot to say about Tua, the narrative surrounding
00:38his concussion, if he should play again, et cetera, et cetera.
00:41Here's Tua talking about all that.
00:43I just think it's based off of whatever that individual feels.
00:49If you feel like you can go, you can go.
00:52This is only, I just think this is only becoming a thing just because of what ended up happening
00:58two years ago for myself within the sport.
01:01I hate that it's happened, but we don't look at boxers the same way.
01:05We don't look at hockey players the same way, but I just think because of what happened
01:09and the magnitude that had, that it's becoming more of an issue here in the league.
01:15Yeah, listen.
01:16Well, first of all, I want to stop him right there dead in his tracks because hockey does
01:22have a problem with it.
01:24What's funny about the NHL is, and I have said this for years, it is the most embarrassing
01:30thing I've ever seen in my life how, and I'm friends with Gary Bettman, okay?
01:36I have been friends with Gary for a long time, but I have never seen anything like his ignorance
01:41about CTE and concussions.
01:45You know why?
01:46He wants nothing to do with talking about brain damage because he's worried about being
01:52sued.
01:54That is it.
01:55The NHL will not acknowledge they have a concussion, CTE, brain damage, or otherwise brain injuries.
02:01They do not discuss it because they are worried about lawsuits, and where do they get that
02:08worry from?
02:09From the National Football League, who somehow got away with concussions and a lawsuit of
02:18having to pay almost $800 million, which they should have paid $10 billion of.
02:26Once again, the NFL wins in court.
02:28That is like a bill at McDonald's to them, $800 million, when it should have been $10
02:35to $20 billion in a civil lawsuit about brain damage.
02:40I am not listening to this kid tell me anything about concussions and brain damage, or for
02:48that matter, dementia.
02:51I have been around advanced dementia, and I'm around it right now, living in it with
02:58my family.
03:00I know someone that is suffering from it so bad at the age of 67 that that individual
03:08is brain dead.
03:10That individual is spoon fed every bite of food every day.
03:14That individual is taking a crane to get out of bed.
03:18A crane lifts this individual out of bed.
03:22This individual cannot walk.
03:24This individual knows no one.
03:27This individual was a scientist, a genius, and at 67, the problem is that individual's
03:35heart is still beating like a 30 year old, and her body lets her live on suffering with
03:43this disease.
03:44Let me tell you something, ALS, same thing.
03:48This kid is headed for all of that, and then some.
03:54Keep playing football, keep having 15 concussions, and you're going to be a noodle.
04:00I don't care what anybody says.
04:02I'm not listening to anybody about this.
04:05When I've been living in it, watching someone dying in front of my very eyes, and I saw
04:11multiple parents and grandparents have it, Christ, I'll probably get it.
04:17For what?
04:18I'm not getting racked every day and concussed playing in the NFL.
04:21The bottom line is, I'm going to say it for the 15,000th time, this kid's just stupid.
04:28He's just a stupid kid who thinks it's not going to happen to him, and he even said the
04:33other day, he said it right on this show, he said, I'm going to die trying.
04:37I'd rather die than quit playing football.
04:41Now I know you're really stupid.
04:44Who in their right mind says something like that?
04:49No one should say something like that.
04:51I'm going to die trying.
04:54It's insanity.
04:55This kid cannot take a hit, and that's all there is to it.
05:00All these people in the NFL that are going to let him go out and keep playing football,
05:04you all deserve what's coming.
05:06You all deserve it.
05:08You know what?
05:09I hope it happens to you too, because you think it's so not a big deal what's happening
05:14to this kid's brain, that it's his decision?
05:17I hear all these guys on ESPN, it's his call.
05:20He's got to make this call himself.
05:22He's a pro football player.
05:23He loves the game.
05:24Shut up.
05:25Shut your face.
05:28Everyone that says that's a moron and an idiot.
05:31This kid's had his brain racked five times.
05:33He's headed for a life of misery.
05:37And I will never stop saying it.
05:38So screw anybody that doesn't like it.
