Geordie Journos react to Newcastle United's 2-1 Premier League win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
Transcript
00:00Welcome back to Geordie Journals on Shots TV I'm joined here as ever by
00:11Jordan Cronin and Liam Kennedy as we reflect on Newcastle United's 2-1 win
00:15here at Molineux on Sunday. It's all coming up.
00:19Yeah, Newcastle United. Perfect start to the season, near-perfect start to the season in terms of results.
00:34Continues 2-1 comeback win at Wolves this afternoon or this evening. Harvey
00:40Barnes, super sub Harvey Barnes, Fabian Scherr back in the side. A great win for
00:44Newcastle, question mark still over the performance but I thought you were
00:49saying to me earlier Liam, it's probably a step in the right direction
00:54certainly in some ways. Yeah I probably would have said that even without the
00:58win. Obviously the win helps, it does. It paints it in a much brighter
01:02light than what you would have had before but I do think there were signs
01:06there that they had a little bit more control of the game. I think they had more
01:10control of the day than I've seen they've had in any of the previous four
01:13games. They had a little patch against Bournemouth for the first 15, they had a little patch
01:17for the last 15 against Forest but apart from that Newcastle haven't really had
01:20much ball or control of games. They did a lot more of that a day however the
01:24negative of that was they never looked like scoring until they got that really
01:28it's quality from Fabian Scherr but it's a decisive look as well and until that
01:34moment I felt they really were lacking in that final third. However I do think
01:39it was a good performance. It wasn't a good performance, it was better.
01:44It's been a low bar this season performance wise but like you say if you
01:49had said to me at the start of the season five games unbeaten through the next
01:53round of the cup. Four wins as well in the penalty shootout. Yeah three wins in the
02:00Premier League, three wins out of four, they only dropped two points.
02:03I genuinely think I would have snapped your hand off. I would have
02:08expected more performance wise if I'd looked at those results and said you'd
02:11think oh they must have played quite well. Newcastle haven't.
02:13They haven't played well this season but it doesn't really matter. They sit third
02:17on the table and that's what matters. The stats, the facts are they've had a
02:22reasonably easy start the season. It's been a kind start of the
02:27season for them on paper. By their standards where they usually have quite tricky starts.
02:30But they've got better results from last season. They didn't get anything at
02:34Bournemouth. Away form has always been the problem. They didn't get anything and
02:38they did this year and they only got a point here and they were lucky to get a
02:41point here this time last year and they've come from behind which I
02:45think we were all talking before. They haven't done very often away from home.
02:49Since Brentford in 2023 when Ivan Tony scored that penalty and then second half of the tournament.
02:53It's not that long then. You were saying it was ages. I said they didn't do it last season.
03:00It's been ages. It's been about six months.
03:09It doesn't feel like they come from behind very often away from home.
03:12Doesn't feel like they get many points away from home in the last 12 months.
03:15To have done so away from home, got through in the cup away from home, got a win
03:19and a draw under their belt away from home. I think there's lots to be positive about.
03:23The reason that you become positive though is because you feel
03:27there's so much more potential there. They can improve so much. It's down to them
03:32whether they will improve. I don't know. I hope they will and if they will then
03:35you know they might become a real formidable force in the Premier League
03:38this season. If they continue going like this, realistically if this is their
03:41level this season then it will be a lot more inconsistent and they might
03:46probably end up about where they did last season. There won't really be an
03:49improvement but look there's lots of unknowns still. I'm looking at
03:53this season but I'm really pleased. Really pleased with the results.
03:57Underwhelmed by the performances but at the end of the day if they do this for 38
04:01games and continue getting results I would snap your hand off for that as
04:05well because I want to be entertained as anybody does watching a game of football
04:08but the result matters more than anything.
04:10It was entertaining towards the end.
04:13No I was just going to say that. You compare it to last season and what I would say about this is
04:17although I haven't played very well, you think about games last season, they weren't
04:19finding a way to say out games and they weren't finding a way to come from behind.
04:23So I think that's a really good platform but you're right in what you're saying that
04:26there's clear improvements. I would say that result performance as you say is
04:31marginally better but probably falls in line with the rest of the games they've had this season.
04:34Positive start, Forrest, early goal, Southampton for 15 minutes,
04:40Boredmouth as well. They let teams back in the games and
04:46they don't click back in the game until they start making changes. I know maybe
04:49today is a little bit different because the changes, although Harvey Barnes got
04:54the goal, didn't change the game immediately.
04:57Whereas they had in previous games and they bring them all now I mark so I am
05:03positive about it because I think as I say there's a difference there from last
05:06season where they sort of find that way to grind out results again and find
05:10ways to win and their way record as well which is one thing we were speaking about
05:15until the way down where they've got to be a lot better from where they were in the season.
05:19I know I'm stating the obvious but that's what probably let them down last year.
05:23They're so bad on the travels so to get a win and a way win in early doors I
05:27think it's really positive. I think they've done that last year with
05:30Sheffield United and I think it was obviously this time last year that they did that but
05:34hopefully and I'm fairly confident that won't be the last win we've seen until
05:38January which is what they did. But yeah, waffling but I don't know.
05:45I was going to ask you a question. Do you think they're almost a kind of hybrid of the two
05:51previous seasons from before? So last year was very much free-flowing goal
05:56scoring, scored a lot of goals last season. They don't really look like scoring that
06:00many goals this season. However, the season before they were quite solid and
06:04it was built on defensive solidity. They're kind of a little bit more
06:08defensively solid than they were last season but a little less poised.
06:12I guess that's why some of the question marks and frustrations come. It's like
06:16the identity isn't quite as clear this season. It's still been very much a work
06:20in progress but when you've got a work in progress that are still ultimately
06:24getting the results on paper then you hope it's a sign of better things to come as well.
06:30Do you think this season, and again I don't want to go down a critical avenue, but the way I
06:33look at it is I think they've been heavily relying on moments rather than
06:37actual patterns of play and working teams out and out-tacticking teams.
06:44Newcastle are just relying on quality moments. What I'd compare it to a little bit
06:48was England at the Euros where it was performance-wise quite underwhelming.
06:52Nothing really clicked but they kept getting the job done through moments of
06:57individual quality or just maybe a stroke of luck here and there and I think
07:02Newcastle have done a bit of that this season in the opening four or five games.
07:06Harvey Barnes. What a finisher that boy is. Genuinely incredible.
07:10One of the best Eddie Howe has ever seen as a winger.
07:13Is that what he said?
07:14Scores goals. We spoke about the eye test. He doesn't always look fat around the eye but his stats are pretty incredible.
07:20He's been better recently. I think the last few games he's been much better.
07:25I think the eye test he's starting to pass it a little bit now which I didn't think he had before.
07:30I think he's really influencing games. I thought he was great when he came on.
07:35He beat his man on the outside at one point and then his second touch almost got away from him and he couldn't get the shot away.
07:41I'm really pleased with what I've seen from him. I think it's really harsh that he wasn't in the team starting the day.
07:47I can see why he's doing it. It's Anthony Gordon isn't it? It's Anthony Gordon because that is Gordon's position.
07:55It would have been random to have excelled playing for England and then a few days later suddenly Eddie Howe shifts him onto the right-hand side.
08:01It's his position and you wouldn't take one of your best players in their best position and move them around to bring somebody else in who isn't quite as good.
08:09But Harvey Barnes is making a case and if there was a way to answer not getting selected from the start it's to come on and influence a game like he did.
08:18He's been Newcastle's best player the last few times he's come off the bench.
08:23Although I'd caveat today with he was Newcastle's best outfielder.
08:28Do you think Nick Pope was man of the match?
08:30I think Newcastle had a lot to thank Nick Pope for today.
08:34There weren't any true outstanding saves until the end.
08:38The Kuna one?
08:39No, no.
08:40I thought the Kuna one where?
08:41There was a one that was near putt.
08:43Yeah, where he hit his arm.
08:44Yeah.
08:45That was quality.
08:46It was a good save, yes.
08:47And then the one in stoppage time where Newcastle were winning at that point to dive and tip it around.
08:52Yeah, it was a big save.
08:54That's true quality.
08:55Makes those saves up easy though.
08:56Yeah.
08:57I'm never sure whether he's almost...
08:59I was about to say that.
09:00I mean...
09:01When he wasn't in the side.
09:02Whoa.
09:03Take that knife out of Martin Dabravka's back.
09:05I actually agree.
09:06I think if Martin Dabravka plays today, Newcastle don't win that game.
09:10Martin Dabravka does not make the saves that Nick Pope makes.
09:12It's not the first time though, is it?
09:13We probably could have said the same against Southampton on the first day.
09:16Yeah.
09:17They probably conceded a couple of goals that day.
09:18Maybe against Spurs as well.
09:19Yeah.
09:20It's just a shame that Nick Pope, when he has a ball at the minute,
09:23you can feel the tension and angst when he gets it.
09:25He's so nervous with the ball in possession, isn't he?
09:27Yeah.
09:28It hasn't improved.
09:29I actually think gradually he's got worse in terms of his distribution.
09:32And I'm not sure I'd cite the narrative around him,
09:34but he seems to...
09:35Every time he gets the ball, he can feel it.
09:37Well, he had the ball there, didn't he?
09:39Where it was like, it could be a clearance up the line.
09:41He just went, I know what I am.
09:43I don't mind that.
09:44But what would you rather?
09:45Would you rather have a great ball-playing goalkeeper who doesn't make saves
09:49or have one that, OK, might shank it out for a prone every so often,
09:52but then pulls off big saves like that?
09:53I don't know which one I'd rather have.
09:56The ball-playing goalkeeper, unless you're Edison,
09:59doesn't really win you many points in terms of with his feet.
10:02But a goalkeeper who makes saves wins you more points
10:05than one who can play football.
10:07It's the type of team you want.
10:08Newcastle concede chances.
10:10Every game they've played, the opposition have had chances as well.
10:14The needy Nick Pope, don't they?
10:16If you're downgraded for somebody who can maybe play a bit more football,
10:20it would be a big loss.
10:21And I'm not his biggest fan in terms of his footballing thing.
10:24I think it's panic stations when he gets the ball.
10:26And you see the bloke closing him down, it's like,
10:28get rid of it, get rid of it.
10:30Don't play that pass. You panic, don't you?
10:33And I think probably because of that, what I've seen,
10:36he will make mistakes.
10:37There'll be a couple of those this season where,
10:39I'm trying to think where it was.
10:42He had a, where did he have a man?
10:44West Ham?
10:46He's had a few.
10:49Obviously Liverpool, of course.
10:52Missing the Carabao Cup final.
10:54He's had a few, but really he's won Newcastle many more points
10:57than he's ever lost them.
10:59So he was a massive player for them today.
11:02I think that one, the strong arm from Kunya,
11:05I think really underrated, that save.
11:07That's the type of thing that goes in a lot of the time.
11:10But his arms are so strong.
11:12I think that's what he's been working on, you know.
11:14Should see the size of his arms and everything.
11:17Now he's obviously bulked up.
11:18I don't know if that was almost building the muscles up
11:20around the injury.
11:22It could be a bit of that.
11:23And it could even be his own head that he wanted to do that.
11:26Strong guy.
11:28Really strong.
11:29Big player.
11:30And yeah, I have to agree.
11:32I think he was probably my man of the match,
11:34even with those early scares with the ball, I think.
11:38Yeah, Bourne saw me.
11:39Bourne saw me.
11:40Yeah, yeah.
11:41The actual real match-winning player.
11:43Great finish.
11:45A player that's capable of doing that.
11:48His stats are incredible.
11:51For a Premier League player, his stats are incredible.
11:53We've talked about the Miguel Almiron highlights reel
11:57when he leaves the club.
11:58Harvey Barnes has got one already.
12:00Yeah, he does.
12:01Scored some screamers.
12:02He has.
12:03He's barely played any games because of his injury as well.
12:05He's probably made less than 10 Premier Leagues though.
12:07I would have to check.
12:08I would make that, but that's probably going to work out.
12:10His goal ratio.
12:11His goal-to-minute ratio will be very high.
12:13He's came on as a sub so many times though,
12:15but in terms of Premier League stats,
12:16I think he's made less than 10 and scored something like 7 goals.
12:20I can't argue with that.
12:21Oh, what a player.
12:22I can't argue with it.
12:24No?
12:25Where are we going now?
12:27Well…
12:28What didn't you like about today?
12:30Do you want to go there or do you want to move it forward?
12:34What didn't I like?
12:35Absolutely.
12:36I mean, you didn't like Alexander Aysoc going off at half-time.
12:41His dodgy eye.
12:42No, he's got a dodgy eye.
12:43He can't do much about that.
12:44I wasn't mad at Anthony Gordon in the first half.
12:47He nearly scored an unbelievable goal.
12:49He nearly scored a brilliant goal
12:50and then almost from that moment on really looked like his head dropped.
12:53It was a strange one actually.
12:55I don't want to dwell on it too much
12:56and I'm not even going into all of the,
12:57oh, he wanted to leave,
12:58and I'm not even talking about that.
12:59I'm just judging the player today.
13:01I thought, I know he can influence games
13:04and the way he played for England.
13:05He still doesn't look anywhere near fifth.
13:07He still doesn't.
13:08No, I still don't think he's quite there.
13:10He's better.
13:11I mean, I don't know if it's normal for any player,
13:13but Anthony Gordon, when he just seems to sprint at the minute,
13:15and I keep pointing out to you,
13:16I've had three or four points in the game
13:19where he's literally, he's like me at Fiverside when I do a sprint.
13:22That's not a good thing.
13:23But he's like, hands on knees, crouched down.
13:26He's knackered.
13:27Can I go and go?
13:30I'll be there for the rest of the night.
13:32Bit of an inside joke, this one.
13:34But he does, he looks knackered.
13:36When he didn't last season, it's a strange one.
13:39I actually thought he was quite sharp in the first half.
13:41He was in patches, then he really faded.
13:43Yeah.
13:44And I think he had a thankless task in many ways in the second half.
13:47He grew up doing the second half.
13:48Doing the Isak role too.
13:49Doing the Isak role where it doesn't matter who plays up there.
13:52In this team, the way they play,
13:53it's quite a thankless task being the centre forward.
13:55So it does make you value the amount of goals
13:59and contributions that Isak has,
14:00that he plays really well in that position
14:02and would not really get much of a snip.
14:05He didn't have a snip today, did he?
14:07Not really, no.
14:08In that first half.
14:09But that was the thing,
14:10you can't say he didn't really look like scoring today.
14:13Until Fabian Schegg comes in and he's been a big miss.
14:16As much as everyone's acknowledged and praised Emile Kraft,
14:20Fabian Schegg gives you that,
14:22that almost quality, that swagger and confidence
14:26to take a shot from there,
14:27as a deep-lying sort of player.
14:29Well, then he'll have Kraft's up team, isn't he?
14:31No, no.
14:32And if he is,
14:33it's probably not going in with all due respect.
14:35Yeah.
14:36What do you make of Tonali's performance today?
14:38Well, we slightly disagreed
14:39because I thought he was quite quiet initially,
14:42grew into the game,
14:44then has that chance to make a 3-1.
14:47And then I thought he went a bit sort of chaotic
14:49the last five minutes in stoppage time,
14:51where he charges out, gets beat to the ball,
14:54Wolves have an attack,
14:55he gets beat,
14:56Fir crossing the box.
14:58Look, I was impressed with him for about 20 minutes.
15:01He was playing the first-time passes
15:03when Newcastle enjoyed the best felt,
15:05but when it was backs against the wall,
15:08at the end,
15:10I didn't think he covered himself in a lot of glory,
15:13but I still gave him a respectable player rating.
15:17I thought his overall performance was good.
15:19Slow start, strange end, but solid.
15:22I thought Tonali and Willock changed the midfield,
15:24they made a big difference.
15:25They did, yeah.
15:26Joe Willock came on,
15:27in the first 20 minutes he was on,
15:28just added legs, energy,
15:30and just a spark about it,
15:32and then actually faded himself.
15:34But you can tell he's a player
15:35who's not played a lot of football.
15:36That's why I would give Eddie Howe big credit today,
15:38because the midfield lost total control
15:40for the final 15 minutes of that first half.
15:42Yeah.
15:43And he made the changes,
15:44and what he could have done is delayed it.
15:46Waited another 60 minutes.
15:47Especially knowing Isak had to come off
15:49to make three changes.
15:50I actually thought it was a very big call for him to take
15:52someone like Joe Linton off.
15:54Because Joe Linton,
15:55and we've been speaking about this,
15:57I don't think he's had a very good start to the season.
15:59I thought he was bloody.
16:00He was.
16:01He was good for the first 20 minutes.
16:03He was excellent for the first 10.
16:05Yeah, interceptions,
16:07and then he seemed to drop a little bit
16:09when he kicked the player's foot
16:11and didn't get a free kick.
16:12Aye.
16:13That was the last moment I remember of Joe Linton.
16:15And it was a similar performance
16:17I've seen with Joe Linton this season, I think.
16:19He's had moments where he scored the goal
16:21against Southampton,
16:23the assist when he spanned James Madison,
16:25but I think if you look at his performances in the main,
16:27he hasn't been that good.
16:28I wouldn't say he's gone missing,
16:30but he's been poor in terms of...
16:34I mean, he always gives you aggression,
16:36but he just couldn't get control of the midfield.
16:39And I think he lost that in the first half.
16:41Bruno didn't have control either.
16:42I think the pair of them.
16:43I think all three of the midfielders really struggled.
16:45Bruno, because he's the captain
16:47and the most influential player in the team,
16:49had to stay on.
16:51And I thought with Tonali in there,
16:53it was better.
16:54It's food for thought for Eddie Hammond.
16:56It is definitely food for thought,
16:57because there's a lot of talk.
16:59It's like, do you take Longstaff out
17:00and bring Tonali straight in?
17:02Like I've always said,
17:03I don't think anybody's safe in that midfield.
17:05I think Tonali and Willer could come in for any of them.
17:08And you've got to remember,
17:10I think you coined it on videos last season,
17:13where you said you almost need,
17:15I'm sure you said that,
17:16you almost need more than your 11 players.
17:18You need 15 players to win a football match
17:20in the Premier League.
17:21So if Joe Linton's on the bench or Sean Longstaff,
17:24you know you're going to get 20 minutes,
17:26half an hour of them coming in
17:27and charging about like they can do.
17:29The other way around,
17:30Tonali will come in and give you a little bit more.
17:32I think he just still looks like a lad who needs games.
17:35You've got to remember,
17:36he was out a long time,
17:37hadn't played football for a while.
17:38It was great to see him get the minutes
17:39under the belt for Italy,
17:40but I think it took him time to get into this game.
17:43It took him time to get up to speed
17:44and then come into it and start influencing.
17:47He's quite attacking as well.
17:49Everybody in their head seems to think
17:50he's going to be a sitter or a deeper.
17:53He wants to get forward,
17:55burst into the box.
17:57And he should have scored?
17:59He probably should have done better, aye.
18:01A couple of times actually.
18:02He had one where he sort of pulled the leg out
18:04and it went from a corner
18:05where it sort of came down I think.
18:06Rustiness in front of goal,
18:07he missed that chance at Forrest as well.
18:09It's like a rush of blood.
18:11Rush of blood when he gets there.
18:13I was just laughing before because
18:15Eddie Howe played it down,
18:17but can you imagine Eddie Howe's reaction
18:18when he's like,
18:19we need to ease Sandro Tonali back in.
18:21Give him an hour against Nottingham Forest,
18:2320 minutes against Spurs,
18:24and then two back-to-back games, Ripley.
18:26Eddie Howe just went straight in.
18:27Not bothered, two games.
18:29He hasn't played for over 10 months,
18:30he's straight in.
18:31Back-to-back games in three days is some effort.
18:34He got some praise as well,
18:35it seems like he did quite well.
18:36So it's all positive.
18:38And you have to also think for Bruno,
18:40where you were saying
18:41didn't really have his best game
18:42but was more influential after Tonali came on.
18:44He's just come from South America as well.
18:47So he's travelled from other sides.
18:49Getting criticism, Bruno, in Brazil.
18:53Yeah, so it's been a really tough week for him.
18:55He's travelled a long way, come back,
18:58possibly a bit jet-lagged as well.
19:00I'm not making excuses for him.
19:02Actually, I am.
19:03Youse have just recovered from Japan, haven't you?
19:07I needed to take a week off just to recover.
19:10He had to go somewhere else.
19:11I had to go in the grease.
19:12Another inside joke.
19:16So yeah, I think overall
19:20it was a step in the right direction today.
19:22And look, like we say,
19:24it's Newcastle's best start to a season
19:26in the Premier League since 1995.
19:28Since wearing that classic Adidas shirt
19:31that we're wearing today.
19:32Do we know if Isak's going to be out then?
19:34Eddie Howe said he hopes it's not so.
19:36He was very unsure.
19:38Was he?
19:39And what I would say is
19:40Sky was saying that he had a bloody nose.
19:43Eddie Howe came out and said it was his eye.
19:45We had information that he limped out of Molyneux.
19:48Limped out of Molyneux.
19:50He's just falling apart.
19:51With his white stick.
19:56I don't know what's happening.
19:57I'm joking. I hope the lad's alright.
19:58I hope he's alright.
20:01They need him to be alright
20:02because Callum Wilson isn't alright.
20:04So what the hell are they going to do?
20:05Anthony Gordon.
20:06Well, there was a point we were saying before.
20:08Will Asula, he's been brought in as third choice striker.
20:11He's actually fourth choice striker.
20:12Behind Anthony Gordon.
20:13We said on the way down,
20:14we'll see Anthony Gordon up front
20:16before we see Will Asula on that tower
20:18to prove the puts.
20:19Didn't think it would be so soon.
20:22Yeah, he'll be a big miss.
20:23Massive, massive player.
20:25If, fingers crossed, he's alright
20:27because that's going to be a tough one next week.
20:29They're getting some good results.
20:31I think they do want,
20:32I keep saying this early,
20:33I think they do want a Fulham
20:34because they haven't played very well there
20:35and they've battered them mostly.
20:37They've got the win at Molyneux after 10 years.
20:39So round off the tables flip.
20:41Yeah, and they get one at Fulham.
20:43But we'll be there.
20:44In a shorter video this one,
20:45it feels like we're going to get kicked out.
20:47There's so many people.
20:48Have you heard any banging and clattering?
20:50They're literally trying to clean Molyneux
20:52while we're waffling on here
20:54for you guys.
20:57Oh yeah?
20:58It's a short video.
20:59I feel like we've covered all bases.
21:01But we need to make it a certain length.
21:03We do.
21:04As everyone knows,
21:05we're on Shots TV as well.
21:07Which is very strict on the timing
21:10because it's 10.
21:11So what happens then?
21:12What happens next week with Isak?
21:14Do you go, Gordon?
21:15Do you think Asula will see me?
21:16I think you have to
21:17and you give Harvey Bonds the start
21:19on the left wing
21:20because that's where he shines as well.
21:23Whether you like it or not,
21:24Harvey Bonds has been more impressive
21:26on the left wing
21:27than Anthony Gordon has this season.
21:29When he castled this season, yeah.
21:30So if you pick players on merit,
21:33Harvey Bonds starts in that position
21:36or, yeah, starts in that position.
21:38Anthony Gordon could go on the right
21:40if Isak's fit.
21:41But Eddie Howes seemed to suggest
21:44that that front three
21:46that started against Spurs
21:47that ended the game at Bournemouth
21:49was almost like a horses-for-courses situation
21:52where he was like,
21:53that was suitable for that game.
21:54But he picked the team today
21:56what he thought was the most suitable
21:59to win this game,
22:00which I'm sure a lot of people
22:01maybe question the lack of Tenali,
22:03the lack of Harvey Bonds,
22:04and things like that.
22:06So it ultimately got the result today
22:09but required significant changes in the game.
22:12I think that's the big thing.
22:14We've talked a lot about
22:15how they've been different.
22:16The big thing about this season is
22:18being able to call upon that bench,
22:20being able to go to the well
22:22and there's players there.
22:23There's players ready to come in
22:24and influence things.
22:25Players chanting at the bit
22:26to be back in the team.
22:27Never had that, really, last season.
22:30It was all right around this time
22:32and then it started after this started.
22:34Players started to drop off
22:35and fingers crossed...
22:36The summer time, wasn't it?
22:37Fingers crossed that doesn't start happening now
22:40because there was a few players
22:41limped out of that game.
22:44Bruno took a knock.
22:45He seems all right.
22:46He's all over social media doing his usual...
22:49That's good.
22:50So he's all right, I think.
22:51We'll hope.
22:52Isaac, no idea.
22:53Fingers crossed he's all right.
22:55No, I...
22:56I hope not.
22:57I hope he's genuinely all right.
23:00We're joking because I think he's all right.
23:02We don't know.
23:03He probably would have got sent out
23:04with an eyepatch last season.
23:08Anyone that was half fifth played last season
23:11would have.
23:12Even if Isaac had half vision
23:13he would still be all right.
23:15Just play.
23:16I think they needed everybody then.
23:18The other one would be Lewis Hall
23:19was limping all over the shop at the end
23:21having to play up front.
23:22Do a little shift up front, which was mad.
23:24Yeah, the formation sort of became interesting
23:26when Lloyd Kelly came on
23:29when it sort of left centre back.
23:31And then Lewis Hall
23:33just sort of wandered around.
23:35He just told Harvey Barnes to tuck in
23:36at left wing back
23:37and then very quickly started screaming
23:39for Jacob Murphy to get over there.
23:41So that was our latest episode
