Jonny Drury caught up with West Brom fans after they went top of the league with a win over Portsmouth.
Albion got off to a blistering start at Fratton Park as Josh Maja put them ahead in less than a minute.
Both sides had chances, with Maja having a header hooked off the line before Alex Mowatt fired home a superb second after the restart.
And late on he curled in a free kick to cap off a superb afternoon.

00:003-0 on the road against Portsmouth, four wins from five, top of the league, you must be
00:11delighted.
00:12Oh, absolutely amazing, fantastic, absolutely brilliant.
00:16What Carlos is doing here is just unbelievable.
00:22When we lost Yokosuka in Sipra, we didn't believe we'd be where we are now.
00:30Some amazing performances, individual performances, superb, as a team, absolutely amazing, fantastic.
00:37I think we've looked at this in the transfer window as well, I think they've turned it
00:45back to Corburn.
00:46It's a base on who he's been the last couple of years, he's stayed off the pitch, it's
00:51been a bit rough, but he's stayed, he's backed in, and he's proven with the spot he can find
00:56him in.
00:57So, there you go, so it's, you know, on the pitch, real improvement, second half was night
01:04and day from the first, but Murray himself was brilliant, he capped it off with the ten
01:08goals.
01:09Absolutely buzzing to be fair, that's the most comfortable I've seen us play away from
01:12home in a long, long time, we were absolutely fantastic to be fair, and Murray as well,
01:16what a free kick at the end, I mean, he's had it in his locker for a while, but to finally
01:19see it on the pitch as well, absolutely fantastic, buzzing.
01:23Comment on the home side, Portsmouth, they didn't look the best at all.
01:26It was kind of like they didn't want it, a bit like men against boys, absolutely bossed
01:30it to be fair, played them out the park, a little bit of a pre-season friendly feel to
01:34be honest, and I'm sticking my neck on the line saying that, but it was that easy at
01:39the end, we were just so comfortable, Bartley and Ajayi, they deserve all the credit they
01:42get, they were fantastic, and Hegham as well, he's supposed to be a defensive full-back,
01:46some of the runs he's been doing down that left-hand side, some of them runs down the
01:55left-hand side are absolutely fantastic, and it's breaking teams down, that's why we're
01:58doing so well on the road I think, we saw it at QPR as well, them magic goals, the first
02:02one, Hegham yet again, down that line, plays it across, he's just been fantastic, I think,
02:08it seems to be gelling this season, that's the best way to describe it, we seem to be
02:12gelling. We've talked about the new signings, but it's guys like Alex Moe we got to today,
02:17Darnell Furlong was exceptional, how impressed have you been by the players that were here
02:20last season, who seem to just be getting better on the cards? Oh yeah, I just don't know how
02:25he's transformed them into just being so much better players than they were, it's just unreal.
02:30It reminds me of Brian Clough, what Cloughy did with Forrest, he's doing the same here,
02:38he's getting every last inch out of every player, it's just unbelievable. Yeah, I think
02:43that, I mean if you think of Karl Barley, I remember the game where he got booed off
02:47against Blues Hell, you'd think he wouldn't come back from that, I know, I mean we love
02:51him don't we, he's absolutely amazing, Sam Furlong, it seems like we've got a spine of
02:55players now, who are just class, and they're improving on the core ground, which you can't
03:00complain, and then obviously you've got all the new signings as well, so yeah. Even the
03:04return of Grant, he's a different player now isn't he? Yeah, they're the mature heads
03:08in the side, it seems like everything's coming together, they're guiding the new transfers
03:13and the youngsters in the right direction, I mean look at Fellows as well, what a player
03:16he's became, and obviously the players that have been at the club a long time are helping
03:21shape him into the player he is today, and he's been absolutely brilliant, I'm absolutely
03:24ecstatic to be fair. Good to see Mikey Johnson back. Oh yeah, definitely. What a curve, what
03:29a killer, brilliant. I thought he was going to score at the end, but yeah, it's alright,
03:35maybe he'll get one next week. Just look at the players bringing on, Wallace, Deangana,
03:39Grant, not Grant sorry, but Johnson, it's, you know, if you're portioning for any other
03:45teams to be when you see them players coming on, after defending for 60, 70 minutes against
03:50those who start, it's not good for them. You talk about, we talk about new signings as well,
03:56we've seen a lot of them today, given the fact that those new signings are coming off
04:01the bench, and Albion have got such depth, does that give you, you know, optimism that,
04:05I know it's only five games in and they're top of the league, but they can keep it up?
04:09I'd like to think so, it's a tough league, you're going to lose a few games in this league,
04:14you know, it stands to reason, but yeah I'd like to think they've got the strength and depth to
04:19stay up there when injuries and suspension start hitting you. Oh definitely, I think it's actually
04:26been a tricky game, to start off with, you know, three away days, bangers, come on boys,
04:32notoriously not great away from home, three away days, three wins, Hawthorne's normally fortress
04:39as well, so yeah, keep these players fit, you've got, you know, a down side DK to come back as
04:43well, yeah, I don't think there's any reason not to be optimistic for the season. Yeah,
04:49that should be good. Yeah 100%, I think Carlos has got to base his sights off merit and he's
04:53been doing that really well, we saw Grant today, a lot of people were calling for Johnston to start,
04:57but I think seeing Grant in the starting line-up, it had to happen really and I thought he had a
05:02really good game, so it paid off. Yeah, I think that it looks really promising for the new season
05:08and yeah, if any injuries come along then we look like we're prepared for that to happen really,
05:17and I think with Corbran's contacts as well, say if he stays with this, there's been rumours I'm
05:23guessing with Everton and that floating around, don't think there's too much in that, but I think
05:28that he's got the contacts to bring in them players in January, say if we did have a little bit of a
05:33mini crisis, if that even did happen, so I think we're in a great, great position. I'm still going
05:37to keep my head on and say playoffs, not automatics, but it's looking really promising so far.
