00:00And at this point, let's talk about the update on the programs of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. here in Mr. President On The Go.
00:24Ladies and gentlemen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. distributed P157.9 million pesos worth of aid to our farmers, fishermen, and livestock raisers in Ilocos Norte.
00:41This was also accompanied by the 107th anniversary of his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.
00:50Among the aid distributed was P5,000 in financial aid to the 7,000 beneficiaries in District 1 of Ilocos Norte, under the assistance of the DSWD's Post-Profit Program.
01:06Our President also assured that he will continue to support them after six months of hard work because of El Nino.
01:14According to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the assistance was continuous because of the hard work of the past six months for the farmers and fishermen.
01:23That is why the government was able to recover our countrymen from the effects of El Nino.
01:29President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also gave joint actions of the agencies to support the workers in the agriculture sector.
01:39They were able to distribute rice, tractors, and fertilizers using fishing, fuel subsidies, and solar-powered irrigation systems.
01:50We know that the agriculture sector is very close to the heart of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
01:55Therefore, whatever the needs of our farmers and fisherfolks, Marcos Administration is here to help you.
