00:12Let's update on the severe tropical storm that we are watching, Bebingka.

00:16We were able to see it last night. It is 1,975 kilometers away from Central Luzon.

00:23It's strong winds reach up to 95 kilometers per hour near Central Luzon and 115 kilometers per hour in Pagasa.

00:31It is expected to move at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.

00:35According to our forecast, it is possible for it to enter our area of responsibility tomorrow afternoon or evening.

00:41And because it is in the northeastern boundary of our area of responsibility, it is also possible for it to leave by Saturday morning.

00:51According to our forecast, the storm Bebingka, its international name, will not have a direct effect on our country

00:59because it will remain far from our Philippine landmass.

01:03But we are already monitoring where it is possible for strong rains to fall,

01:09especially in the western section of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in the coming days.

01:15And this afternoon, we are still expecting that because of the trough of the storm Bebingka and Habagat,

01:22it will end at dusk.

01:25There will be scattered rains, thunderstorms, and landslides in eastern Visayas, Caraga, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbateb.

01:34It is also the same in the western section of Palawan, occidental Mindoro, Romblon, the rest of Visayas and Mindanao,

01:39where it will experience rains due to Habagat.

01:43Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila, and in other parts of our country,

01:47Habagat and the storm we are monitoring will not have a direct effect this afternoon.

01:53That is why our forecast for this afternoon will be clear.

01:57There will be rains, but it will be temporary. It will only fall in the afternoon and evening.
