00:04APPLAUSE
00:31Hello, everybody. Just past two o'clock.
00:34That means Countdown, and even though we're oldies,
00:36we always like to pause and just say thank you so much for tuning in.
00:39Never take it for granted.
00:41Rachel Riley, hello. Hello, Colin Murray.
00:43We have been in the Dave Gorman fan club all week.
00:46We love having him in Dictionary Corner.
00:48The other one of his fantastic series is Modern Life Is Goodish.
00:52You less so, you're a bit younger, but I love a moan about,
00:55oh, it was way better back in the day.
00:57But what is it about modern life today that you love?
01:01Well, I mean, the technology.
01:03I'm just thinking, I mean, obviously I'm baby central still,
01:06so when my husband was born in Soviet Russia,
01:09they didn't even have nappies.
01:11His mum had a baby with no nappies.
01:13And now my girls are born and we've got a bed that listens to them
01:16and shushes them and rocks them to sleep.
01:18I mean, it's great.
01:20Have you got... It's a very modern invention.
01:22I think it was this year.
01:24Have you got the thing that you put in the back of a baby's nappy
01:27and it tells you when it's full?
01:29Is that a finger?
01:31LAUGHTER
01:33That's the old-fashioned way of doing it.
01:35Long may it continue. Right, on with the show.
01:37Let's reintroduce our G of the day, Susie Dent,
01:39keeping us up to date with the modern world of each and every word
01:43in the dictionary, and alongside her,
01:45I've already given the game away, Dave Gorman's back.
01:48APPLAUSE
01:50Just stealing all your ideas for shows, for interviews.
01:53All right, that's good, yeah, yeah.
01:55Checks in the post, right.
01:57Derivative.
01:59I said it's a tribute, more.
02:01Right, our champion is back, halfway to being an octo-champ,
02:05Lewis Castley-Mores here. How are you, mate?
02:07Yeah, I'm good, thank you.
02:09Now, you're about 12 or thereabouts,
02:11so modern life is all you've ever known,
02:13so I'm guessing what do you do in your spare time?
02:15It'll be something very modern.
02:17Yeah, I mean, I play Xbox like I'm still 16.
02:20What a life you live. Crazy stuff.
02:23Do you ever play board games?
02:25Every now and again.
02:27More from the parents, but not my top thing.
02:30Right, well, listen, you're missing out,
02:32as our challenger, Jordan Thornhill from Hartlepool knows.
02:34How are you doing, sir? Yeah, good.
02:36You and I, we'd have a great weekend together.
02:39That's not official invite, that's a bit freaky,
02:41but you love your board games, talk me through it.
02:44Yeah, loved them, always loved them.
02:46Loved the new ones, Dixit, Ticket to Ride, stuff like that.
02:49Ticket to Ride, so underrated.
02:51See, I love my board games too. What's your all-time favourite?
02:54I think Ticket to Ride. Played it with my best friend. Love it.
02:57Risk? Never played Risk.
02:59The weekend's off, if you haven't played Risk, that's it.
03:02We're no longer board game buddies.
03:04Let's see if you can pass gold today, though.
03:06Let's find out. Let's hear it for Lewis and Jordan.
03:12Right, young man, let's get some letters.
03:14Hi, Rachel. Hi, Lewis.

04:21Just a five. And Jordan?
04:23Just a four. OK, what's the four?
04:25Where? And Lewis?
04:27A bearer. A bearer.
04:29Let's just check with Susie. Happy?
04:31Bearer's absolutely fine, yes.
04:33Tricky round. A lot of nearly words up there, as I like to say,
04:36that frustrate you when you realise your one letter is short.
04:39Susie and Dave, what have you got?
04:41Nothing more than a six. We got wearier.
04:44Same territory. That's it.
04:46We can do better right now, as Jordan gives us nine more letters.
04:50Can I have a consonant, please? Thank you, Jordan.
04:52D.
04:54And another, please.
04:56Y.
04:58And another.

05:18I. 30 seconds.
05:42MUSIC PLAYS
05:50And that's time, Jordan.
05:52Five. Yeah. And Lewis?
05:54I'll go with a six. OK, the five is...?
05:56Fried. And what six are you going with?
05:58Foiled. Yeah.
06:00Foiled's there, fried's there as well.
06:02Champion edges ahead.
06:04Dave, tricky first couple of rounds.
06:06Yeah, very much so. I don't think we got anything more than six.
06:09Florid, rifled, there's a few others out there, but nothing bigger.
06:13OK, that's the way it goes. That's a countdown for you.
06:15Let's get our first numbers of the day, Lewis.
06:17Of course, you're picking them.
06:19Can I have three large, please, Rachel?
06:21You can indeed. Your favourite pick, three big ones and three not.
06:24And the three little ones are nine, five and two.
06:29And the big ones, 50, 25 and 100.
06:33And the target to reach, 449.
06:36449. Numbers up.
06:39ELECTRONIC MUSIC
06:42ELECTRONIC MUSIC

07:10450.
07:12One away, Jordan. 450.
07:14Oh, my goodness me. Jordan, off you go.
07:16Take the 50 and times by nine.
07:20450.
07:22Lewis, did you just do the same?
07:24No, I did 100 times by five.
07:26500.
07:28Take away the 50. Yeah.
07:30One away.
07:32This is another example of goal poaching, isn't it, Rachel?
07:34It is. Off you go.
07:36Divide by 25 is four.
07:38Five minus four is one.
07:40Ah! There you go.
07:42APPLAUSE
07:44Right, seven points nonetheless for Jordan,
07:46so that gets him off the mark.
07:48Seven for Lewis as well as we head into our first tea time teaser.
07:51Tom Oyled.
07:53Tom Oyled.
07:54If you could spot this mineral, it could be a triumph.
07:57If you could spot this mineral, it could be a triumph.
08:00DRAMATIC MUSIC
08:07APPLAUSE
08:15Welcome back. Yes, Tom Oyled becomes Dolomite.
08:18If you could spot this mineral, it could be a triumph.
08:20I tell you what's a triumph.
08:22If you've got a certain streaming service,
08:24Dolomite is my name, a recent Eddie Murphy movie.
08:27Absolutely sensational.
08:29I know Dave Gorman's a fan as well.
08:31It's right up there in his all-time best films.
08:33Yeah, I loved it. Absolutely great. There you go.
08:35Movie reviews, you don't know what you're going to get on Countdown.
08:38Let's get back to what we're paid for.
08:40Jordan, letters.
08:41Can I have a consonant, please?
08:43Thank you, Jordan. H.
08:45And another?
08:47T.
08:49And another?
08:51N.
08:52And a vowel, please?
08:54A.
08:55And another?
08:57I.
08:59And another?
09:01O.
09:02And a consonant, please?
09:04T.
09:05And another consonant?
09:07S.
09:08And a final vowel, please?
09:10A final U.
09:12Thanks, Rachel.
09:35Interesting, that.
09:36Jordan?
09:37A five.
09:38And Lewis?
09:39A six.
09:40Going for a six.
09:41Jordan, what's the five?
09:43A stunt.
09:44Stunt.
09:45And Lewis?
09:46A taint.
09:47And taints.
09:48For six.
09:49So many different endings involved there.
09:51Where did it take you, Dave?
09:53There's a couple of sevens.
09:55There's a lot of different endings involved.
09:57I think it's a lot of different endings.
09:59I think it's a lot of different endings.
10:01There's a couple of sevens.
10:03You could say the six has out-hit five,
10:06so we've got out-hits.
10:07Yeah.
10:08And station.
10:09And station as well.
10:10That's good.
10:11Seven's the best we can do?
10:12Certainly was.
10:13Wonderful stuff.
10:14Right, let's get some more letters now as we switch to Lewis.
10:16Consonant, please, Rachel.
10:18Thank you, Lewis.
10:19G.
10:20And another?
10:21N.

10:40And another?
10:42I.
10:43And a final vowel, please?
10:45Final A.
10:47Let's rock and roll.
10:59MUSIC PLAYS
11:19Time is up.
11:20Lewis?
11:21An eight.
11:22And Jordan?
11:23An eight as well.
11:24Fantastic.
11:25What's yours, Jordan?
11:26Retiring.
11:27Retiring.
11:28Lewis?
11:29Yeah, same one.
11:30Fantastic.
11:31Two eights.
11:32Wonderful stuff.
11:33Eight points each.
11:34Simple round unless, of course, there's a nine.
11:36I don't think there is.
11:37It's one of those sets of letters that feels like there should be more in there,
11:40but we only got eight as well in the same one.
11:42Retiring.
11:43We'll retire from that round then and from the letters for a bit
11:46as we get our second numbers round.
11:48The difference is our challenger gets to pick them for the first time.
11:51Can I have one from the top and five little ones, please?
11:53You can indeed. Thank you, Jordan.
11:55This time.
11:56And your five little numbers are as follows.
11:58Nine.
11:59Five.
12:00Eight.
12:01Ten.
12:02One.
12:03And the big one.
12:0425.
12:05And the target.
12:07Small.
12:08135.
12:09135.
12:10Numbers up.
12:11MUSIC PLAYS
12:25MUSIC CONTINUES
12:41Time's up.
12:42135, Jordan.
12:43135.
12:44Yeah, Lewis.
12:45No.
12:46131.
12:47Jordan, off you go.
12:4825 times five.
12:50125.
12:51And add the ten.
12:52There's no way to sugarcoat it.
12:53Yep, that's all there was to it.
12:55Lewis, you've won four, so it's OK, right?
12:58It's absolutely fine.
13:00Absolutely mind-blank.
13:02Right, well, listen, take a breath,
13:04cos it's time to cross over to Dictionary Corner
13:06and catch up with Dave Gorman.
13:07You've made us really work this week,
13:09so goodness knows what's coming today.
13:11Well, on Tuesday we talked about cryptic crosswords,
13:13cos I now set for a few newspapers,
13:15and I showed you some clues that I'd set that had been published.
13:18Yes.
13:19And I thought today I'd bring some clues
13:21especially for you,
13:23cos I know you know how to do them now.
13:25We've talked about it.
13:27So I'm going to head over to the board, if that's all right.
13:29Well, hold on, let's negotiate this.
13:31OK.
13:32Can it be a three-way competition?
13:33Absolutely.
13:34OK, cos it takes the pressure off of it.
13:36Collaboration.
13:37Right, let's call it that, collaboration.
13:39I like that, because Rachel is over-competitive,
13:41and it could get nasty.
13:42So let's do that, a collaboration between the three of us.
13:45You'll get them, you'll get them.
13:47You're up to speed now.
13:48Right.
13:49The first one I'm going to go with is...
13:57OK.
13:58Now, do you want to start explaining it?
14:00MC, something with an MC.
14:01Well, let's see, let's see, that could be the definition.
14:04How many letters?
14:05It's five, six.
14:07Is RACY dancing the tango?
14:09Striptease?
14:10I'm going to start explaining it,
14:12and just jump in when you think you're ready.
14:14So the letters RACY, R-A-C-Y...
14:17Yes.
14:18..dancing with M-O-U-L-I-N, Moulin.
14:23Yes.
14:24And also Rouges First.
14:26So what's Rouges First?
14:27R.
14:28Red.
14:29R.
14:30R.
14:31So RACY, Moulin R, they're all dancing,
14:33and if you start dancing those letters, you can get C-O-L-R.
14:36It's me! It's me!
14:38It's Colin Murray!
14:39It's me! Yay!
14:41The master of ceremonies here on Countdown.
14:44That was brilliant.
14:45There you go.
14:46I didn't get it, it was my own name.
14:48LAUGHTER
14:50That's just to help you.
14:51And now you've got a bit of an edge,
14:53I think you'll get the next one even quicker.
14:55Right, OK.
14:56Dealer returning faulty chiller within 12 months.
15:00Right, we know it's 1am, too, but I need to work out why.
15:03It's a dealer year, it's got to be me, this one.
15:05OK, she's ahead of it, she's won already.
15:07Explain it, though.
15:08OK, dealer returning faulty chiller within 12 months.
15:10So, first of all, we're going to start with a faulty chiller, OK?
15:13So, a faulty chiller, I'm going to write it as L-I-R-L-E-H-C.
15:20OK, that's the faulty version of chiller.
15:22Yes.
15:23And that's within a year, cos that's 12 months.
15:26Yeah.
15:27But it's being returned...
15:29That's fantastic, yes.
15:30..and if you go backwards, that says Rachel Riley...
15:32Wonderful.
15:33..who is Michelle's dealer, amongst many other things.
15:36Love that.
15:37I'll give you one you don't know and it isn't as obvious.
15:39Right.
15:40OK, still specially for you.
15:41Winner half-heartedly working with logical system.
15:45Champion.
15:46Winner?
15:47Yeah.
15:48Half-hearted, so you take that heart of winner out.
15:50I like it, yeah.
15:51So, what is the heart of winner, if you took the word winner down?
15:53N-E. N.
15:54N-E.
15:55And it's got two Ns in the middle, hasn't it?
15:57A double N.
15:58So, we're going to half that and have just one N in the middle.
16:00Yes.
16:01And that's working with logical system.
16:05A logical system.
16:06Not a logical system, logical system.
16:09Think about a baker working dough, it's another anagram indicator,
16:13and if you anagramise all of those letters with only one N in winner,
16:17you get Louis Castling-Moray...
16:19Oh, wow!
16:20..who is the show's current champion.
16:22Yes!
16:27Big question is this, Louis, did you get your own cryptic clue?
16:31I mean, I thought there were too many letters to be anyone else.
16:35You have got a name to conjure with, that's for sure.
16:37That's brilliant, thank you so much.
16:42Brilliant from Dave Gorman.
16:43Let's get back to the game.
16:44No, Winer, logical system, it's your letters.
16:47A consonant, please, Rachel.
16:49Thank you, Winer.
16:51N.
16:52Another, please.
16:54M.
16:55And a third.
16:57P.
16:58And another.
17:00Z.
17:01And a fifth.
17:03C.
17:04And a vowel, please.
17:06O.
17:07And another.
17:09E.
17:10And another.
17:12A.
17:13And a final vowel, please.
17:15And a final...
17:17E.
17:18Start the clock.
17:37CLOCK TICKS
17:50That's time, the score has been narrowing.
17:52Jordan?
17:54Try a six.
17:55OK, and Louis?
17:56I've got a six not written down.
17:57OK, what's the six not written down?
17:59Menace.
18:00Menace, and Jordan, what's the one you're trying?
18:02Encamp.
18:03Susie?
18:04E-N-C-A-M-P.
18:05Yeah, absolutely fine.
18:06Very good.
18:07Anything else in Dictionary Corner?
18:09Not much, there was Pacemen.
18:11Pacemen, fast bowlers.
18:13You're going, look what's left over as well.
18:15Yeah.
18:16Thoughts of the Ashes, the Oz Pacemen.
18:18Right, well, listen, Jordan Keaton, pace will lose.
18:21Just seven points in it, and, Challenger, your letters.
18:24Have a consonant, please.
18:26Thank you, Jordan.
18:27S.
18:28And another.
18:30R.
18:31And a third.
18:33M.
18:35And another.
18:37L.
18:38And a vowel.
18:40U.
18:41And another.
18:42O.
18:43And another.
18:45U.
18:46And a consonant.
18:48N.
18:50And a final vowel, please.
18:53A final E.
18:54Here we go.
19:04MUSIC PLAYS
19:26How do you get on, Lewis?
19:27A six.
19:28And Jordan?
19:29A six.
19:30OK, what have we got, Lewis?
19:31N rolls.
19:32Jordan?
19:33N rolls.
19:34And sermon, preaching to the choir over there.
19:36Anything else, Dave and Susie?
19:38I thought there might be numerous eight letters,
19:40but there's not, there's just one, and it's numerous.
19:42Numerous, that's all we have.
19:44Brilliant, numerous, though.
19:46Fantastic for eight.
19:48Let's move on, more numbers now, and it's you, Lewis.
19:51Can I have three large, please, Rachel?
19:53You can indeed, your favourite pick.
19:55Three large ones and three small e's.
19:58And the little numbers are four, six and five.
20:02And the big three, 25, 75, 100.
20:05And your target, 327.
20:08The 327 numbers up.
20:32MUSIC PLAYS
20:40327, Lewis?
20:42326.
20:43One away, and Jordan?
20:45326.
20:46OK, I'm going to go Jordan first here.
20:48So, the 100 times four.
20:51400.
20:52Minus the 75.
20:54325.
20:55And then six minus five to give you the one to add on.
20:59Yep, one away.
21:00And Lewis?
21:01Yep, same way.
21:02Exactly the same way.
21:04Seven points each.
21:06327 for ten points.
21:08Double R?
21:09Yep.
21:10If I say 100 plus five plus four is 109,
21:14you might guess where I'm going.
21:1675 over 25 is three.
21:18And times them together, 327.
21:23First game of today as we get our second tea time teaser.
21:26Not bold, as in B-O-W-E-D.
21:29Not bold.
21:30It's not bold.
21:31It's been artificially shaped.
21:33It's not bold.
21:34It's been artificially shaped.
21:44APPLAUSE
21:51Welcome back.
21:52Not bold.
21:53It's not bold.
21:54It's been artificially shaped.
21:55Well done if you got Bentwood.
21:56But what does it mean, Susie Dent?
21:58It means just that, wood that is artificially shaped
22:00for use in making furniture.
22:02Sometimes the answer is right in front of your nose.
22:04Yeah.
22:05Jordan, let's bend this champion out of shape
22:08with nine more letters.
22:09Continent, please.
22:10Thank you, Jordan.
22:11P.
22:12And another.

22:40Time's up.
22:58MUSIC
23:11How did you get on, Jordan?
23:13Six.
23:14And Lewis?
23:15I think I have an eight.
23:16OK, the six, then, from Jordan.
23:18Split.
23:19And what would it be?
23:20Silliest.
23:21Yeah.
23:22Very good indeed.
23:23Very nice.
23:24Anything else?
23:25Pityless is another eight.
23:26Yes.
23:27OK, two eights in there as we get more letters from Lewis.
23:30Consonant, please, Rachel.
23:32Thank you, Lewis.

23:56A final O.
23:58Let's play.
24:00MUSIC
24:27What do you make out of that, Jordan?
24:29A seven.
24:30Very good.
24:31Lewis?
24:32Just a five.
24:33The five, Lewis?
24:34A ghost.
24:35And, Jordan, the seven?
24:36Hostage.
24:37Very good.
24:38Very good.
24:39Anything better in Dictionary Corner?
24:41Nothing better, I think.
24:43Goatees, there's other sevens out there.
24:45It's a shame you can't have hyphens.
24:47We could have had ex-hostage.
24:49Listen, you never know these days.
24:51Never know these days.
24:52Not many hyphens about.
24:53It's one of my bogged-down hyphens.
24:55Right, 59 plays 51 as we take a break
24:58and stay in Dictionary Corner.
25:00Susie Dent, origins of words.
25:02Let me sit back and enjoy it.
25:04Well, enjoy an email from Joan Prosser,
25:06who is a circle dancer.
25:08And in one spring dance, as Joan has emailed,
25:11the instruction is to re-enact the action of lambs
25:13leaping up on all fours at once, or prinking, she says.
25:17I'm not sure of the spelling.
25:19She says she lives and dances in rural Herefordshire
25:23and none of the farmers that she's asked
25:25have ever heard of this word.
25:26Is it dialect?
25:27The dictionary says to prink is to make oneself smart,
25:30and we know that as to prink and preen, etc.
25:32Well, I have to tell you, Joan,
25:34that the word is actually pronking, not prinking,
25:37which may not shed much light on the matter,
25:39but that comes from the Afrikaans,
25:41pronk meaning to show off or to strut or to prance.
25:45And the solution to the circle dance context
25:48is that in South African English,
25:50to pronk is what a springbok or other antelope does.
25:54When it springs into the air and it arches its back
25:58and its legs are incredibly stiff,
26:00but all four legs are off the ground,
26:02they use simultaneously in that leap.
26:04So it's a form of display, they are showing off,
26:07hence that etymology in pronk, to show off or strut.
26:11But that is what they are doing.
26:12I always thought it was what they were doing
26:14when they were alarmed, but no, it's a form of display.
26:17Prinking is slightly different,
26:18and this is where it all kind of gets a bit blurry
26:20because prinking actually goes back to an old word,
26:22prank, believe it or not,
26:24which means to dress or adorn in a showy manner.
26:27And that comes from a Middle English word,
26:30prank meaning pomp.
26:31And finally, our modern sense of prank,
26:34because I thought I would do all three of them,
26:36that was once much more serious than it is now.
26:38So prank today is just a practical joke, isn't it?
26:40Or some sort of mischief,
26:42but actually it was once very wicked and malicious.
26:46And you'll find in the 17th century,
26:48a biblical commentator who describes a person's murder
26:51of their brother and sister as lewd pranks.
26:54So really serious indeed,
26:56but we don't quite know where that comes from.
26:58But as I say, the pronking bit,
26:59which I think is the word that Jane was looking for,
27:01I like to think it's what Tom does in Tom and Jerry
27:04when Jerry is up to his antics,
27:06or when we hear the alarm clock
27:08and we suddenly just kind of jump out of bed.
27:11That is pronking.
27:15Well, it's 59 plus 51,
27:18and we're getting close to the last dance in today's countdown.
27:21It's still all up for grabs, just eight points in it.
27:24We have our conundrum, our last numbers,
27:26and two more letters round.
27:28And it's our challenger, Jordan, who's picking the first.
27:30Consonant, please.
27:32Thank you, Jordan. G.
27:34And a second.
27:36V.
27:37And another, please.
27:39K.
27:40And a vowel.
27:42U.

27:44E.
27:45And another.
27:47I.
27:49And a consonant, please.
27:51N.
27:53And another.
27:55F.
27:57And a vowel, please.
27:59And, finally, another U.
28:0230 seconds.

28:34Goodness me. Lewis?
28:36Only a four.
28:37And Jordan?
28:38A four as well.
28:39What's the four, Jordan?
28:41King.
28:42And Lewis?
28:43Yeah, fine. And king.
28:45I mean, you never get a situation where you've got the I-N-G
28:49and so little in terms of options.
28:52Susie, Dave?
28:54There are some fives.
28:56Fungi.
28:57Knife.
28:58Nothing more than five, though.
29:00Not even a six with the I-N-G. There you go.
29:02Keeps the scores very close indeed.
29:05And it's Lewis picking the letters.
29:07A consonant, please, Rachel.
29:09Thank you, Lewis. B.
29:11And another.
29:13C.
29:14And another.

30:08Jordan?
30:09Seven.
30:10And Lewis?
30:11Yeah, seven.
30:12OK, what's the seven, Lewis?
30:14Baptism.
30:15Baptism. And Jordan?
30:17Yeah, seven.
30:18Also baptism.
30:20Dictionary Corner, what can you add?
30:22As well as baptisms, obviously baptise.
30:24We talked about pacemen earlier.
30:26Who is the paciest? That could be in there.
30:28But I think campiest is in there. Is that for eight?
30:32It is for eight.
30:33Campiest. Is in, Sus?
30:35Yes, it is in the dictionary.
30:37Campiest is simply another word for camp.
30:40And Rachel also got campsite.
30:42Campsite in there too.
30:44Tactics really come into play here.
30:46What's Jordan going to do? He's eight points behind.
30:48Does he just want to get to that crucial countdown conundrum
30:51or will he take a risk on the final numbers game?
30:54Let's find out.
30:55Just one from the top, please.
30:57One from the top.
30:58Playing it potentially as safe as you can,
31:00going for that crucial conundrum.
31:02Let's see if we get there.
31:03Final numbers today.
31:06Eight, nine, seven and a large one, 100.
31:10And the target, 133.

33:03OK.
33:04By the way, I know this is your first week in Countdown,
33:06but this is what happens.
33:07You feel her vibrating in the corner and you know.
33:10Go ahead, Rage.
33:11Lisa, is it luminance?
33:13You know it is.
33:14Let's take a look. Confirm it.
33:16APPLAUSE
33:18Brilliant.
33:19Lewis, that's two crucial countdown conundrums.
33:22Bit different, that one, not getting it.
33:24How do you feel?
33:25Yeah, escaped that one a little bit,
33:27but as soon as the clock ended, relief.
33:29You win every game on merit.
33:31You're in and around that 80-ish points every time
33:33and you're a fierce competitor, so well done.
33:36Your fifth win. We'll see you back here tomorrow.
33:38Jordan, it's a shame.

33:43Thank you for being here.
33:44Dave, final day tomorrow with Susie Cutway?
33:46Yeah, looking forward to it.
33:47Excellent.
33:48Question for you, Rachel.
33:49Did you ever own the Countdown board game?
33:52I think I had the chocolate version when I was about 17.
33:55Well, I've had three in my life.
33:58One with the goat on the front, of course, Richard Whiteley.
34:02Another with Des on the front.
34:05But the newest one is blank.
34:07They don't have anybody on it.
34:09It's just the word Countdown, so I'll make you a deal.
34:12You've got a challenge from now until the Christmas shopping
34:15to get yourself, Susie and me, back on the Countdown cover.
34:19Why not?
34:20I tell you what, if you can get some dirt on the people upstairs,
34:23then maybe we can start talking.
34:25I think my money might be safe on that front,
34:27but I'll see you back here tomorrow.
34:29In real life, Susie, Rachel and I will be here.
