14:21cos people often say that language evolves very, very quickly,
14:24except in football,
14:25where people still use the same clichés,
14:28the same formulae, etc.
14:30And I wanted to ask if you thought that was true.

14:33And the reason why it's not is because they use jargon a lot more now,
14:37and there are certain jargon words
14:39that are used all the time at the moment.
14:41So you'll hear the word transition used in every single commentary.
14:45No-one used that word ever ten years ago.
14:48What it means is, and listen to this one,
14:50you lost the ball again.
14:52It's not technical, right?
14:54And there are other ones, like, they'll say,
14:56we've had a low block.
14:58That means you're defending deep.
15:00There's technical terms that creep into the game,
15:03but the most important thing to remember is, it's just jargon.
