00:00Hi, welcome back to my channel, in this video, I will explain the ending of Catch Me If You

00:04Claus, so, let's begin.

00:06Under the direction of Bradley Walsh, Catch Me If You Claus follows Avery Quinn, all set

00:11for her debut as a news anchor the next morning, when she sees an intruder in her home.

00:15She springs into action and ties up the trespasser, who claims to be Santa Claus' son, Chris.

00:21She is about to hand him over to the police when a sequence of mishaps has the two escaping

00:25some ruffians, and tracking down leads to solving the case before Avery's deadline.

00:29As the duo work together to save Christmas, they feel a chemistry brewing between them.

00:39How do Chris and Avery meet?

00:42While Avery is preparing to become a famous news anchor like her mother, Sophie Ashburn,

00:46she comes across an unexpected guest at her house.

00:49He is not the usual kind of visitor that one would expect, but he introduces himself as

00:53Chris, Santa's son.

00:55Avery thinks that he is delusional and has broken into her house to steal, as she had

00:59heard on the news previously about a chain of theft by a fake Santa.

01:03She does not believe Chris at all and ties him up, when he tells her that he actually

01:06meant to deliver the Christmas present to her neighbor and accidentally landed at her

01:10place.

01:11As he complain about his time being wasted, Avery helps him deliver the parcel to her

01:15neighbor while still in doubt of his identity.

01:17He tells her that he had to be quick as he had to deliver all the presents to the children

01:21before 6.

01:23Avery is not ready to listen to his excuses and wants to inform the police of a sudden

01:27entry into her house.

01:29While they are on their way back to Avery's home, they are mistaken for the Santa gang,

01:32who has been robbing people, by a security man, and he immediately informs the police.

01:37What Conflict Arises?

01:39As Avery and Chris are on the run to save their lives, they end up having a lot of adventurous

01:44experiences.

01:45In order to save themselves, they get inside a theatrical troupe.

01:49Avery wants to make a call to Channel 71, where her show was supposed to be aired the

01:53next day, to inform them of her situation.

01:56She, however, manages to impress the people of the theater with her monologue, and they

02:00help her out.

02:01We see a strange man following Avery and Chris for a flash drive that he thinks they might

02:05have.

02:06However, when the man follows them to the theater, he is chased away by the people there.

02:11They disguise themselves to escape the man, but he somehow manages to kidnap them.

02:16The kidnappers also manage to capture another couple that they suspect to be the real Santa

02:20thieves, and they end up getting confused as to who the real thieves are.

02:24Avery manages to escape the situation with Chris after stealing the flash drive that

02:28the other couple had.

02:30She knew that she could present the belongings of the flash drive on the channel which would

02:33gain her the leverage as an anchor.

02:35What was Peter Mayhew's motive?

02:38Avery tells Chris that the flash drive was actually evidence against Huwitt Vance, the

02:41former mayor.

02:43Peter Mayhew has managed to collect the evidence along with his wife against Vance's scam.

02:48He had stolen a Christmas fund and put it to his own use.

02:51There was a scam of $45,000 that Vance had stolen to benefit himself and have a luxurious

02:56lifestyle.

02:57When Peter tried to unravel that, he was fired from his job.

03:01Peter was the one who had been behind the chain of thefts in the entire city to distract

03:05people from the flash drive.

03:06Therefore, Vance's men had thought that Chris and Avery were behind the theft, as Chris

03:11had been dressed in a Santa coat.

03:13How did Chris and Avery help each other?

03:16Chris and Avery are chased all over the town by Vance's men, and they somehow manage to

03:20come back home.

03:21On returning home, they find that Vance's men had ravaged the place in search of the

03:25drive.

03:26Santa also arrives at her home in search of his son Chris, as he thinks that he has been

03:30unable to fulfill his duties well.

03:32When he learns how eagerly his son has given all his time to helping Avery, he is pleased.

03:37She manages to print out the contents of the flash drive almost instantly, and it is just

03:41then that Vance arrives at her doorstep again.

03:44He threatens her to give him back the drive, and she tells him that she has already informed

03:47the police of the incident and that they will be there anytime.

03:51Just then, Vance and his men hear the police coming, and they flee the place.

03:55After a night full of adventures, Avery realizes that she is late for her show.

04:00She had one last chance to prove to everyone that she could be a great anchor, just like

04:04her mom.

04:05When she is almost about to give up hope of reaching the place on time, Chris assures

04:08her that he will help her.

04:10The magic realism is portrayed in the film when Chris sleds her through the snow in his

04:13reindeer cart, and she manages to reach the place just in time.

04:17She presents her story with full confidence and manages to bag the job as an anchor on

04:21the channel.

04:23Both Chris and Avery had supported each other when they had lost faith in themselves.

04:27Later, Chris comes back to get Avery and tells her that he has managed to deliver all the

04:31gifts on time.

04:33We saw chemistry building up between them throughout the entire course of Catch Me If

04:36You Claws, which leaves us in awe of the possibility of a love story between an Earthling and Santa's

04:41son.
