00:00The Alice Guo and Pastor Kibuloy Senate hearings are made for TV events

00:04because of the magnitude of the alleged crimes against them.

00:07In the interest of fair play and justice though,

00:10the House of Representatives also wants a piece of the action

00:13so they can also ask their questions and perhaps squeeze out information from them.

00:24The House leadership is hoping for the court to also allow

00:27former Bamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo to attend the Quad Committee hearing in the lower house.

00:33According to House Deputy Speaker David J.J. Suarez, similar to what the Senate did,

00:38they will also request for Guo's presence to clarify various issues

00:42being thrown against her regarding illegal pogos.

00:45The next Quad Committee hearing is set for September 12.

00:57Meanwhile, other lawmakers are also calling not only for Alice Guo but also for Cassandra Ong,

01:13who is also being implicated in the pogo issue, to reveal the truth.

01:17House Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Don Gonzalez Jr. said,

01:21since both Guo and Ong are claiming they are Filipinos,

01:24they should show love for the country and speak up about the crimes

01:28and all the information they know about pogos.

01:31Meanwhile, aside from the issue involving Guo,

01:33several congressmen also expressed their satisfaction

01:36now that Kingdom of Jesus Christ Executive Pastor Apollo Quiboloy,

01:40who is facing various and serious criminal charges, is also under government custody.

01:44For House Appropriations Committee Chair Elizalde Co,

01:47this has been the fruit of PNP's efforts so they should be given more funds

01:52for filled equipment in their annual budget.

01:54On the other hand, House Deputy Minority Leader Franz Castro insists

01:58justice must be served for the alleged victims of Pastor Quiboloy.

02:02While House Deputy Majority Leader Jude Acidre added,

02:05what happened to Quiboloy is proof no one is above the law.
