00:00He definitely high steps when he walks.
00:04Grasshopper.
00:10When we first started fostering Grasshopper,
00:13I noticed that there was something a little unique about him.
00:18He was a little more uncoordinated than the other fosters we've had.
00:22Hi.
00:23Hi, I'm happy to see you too.
00:27We got him into the vet.
00:30He does have a condition,
00:32but it has no effect on his overall life.
00:36He is just like any other normal cat.
00:39It just means he's wobbly.
00:42Grasshopper.
00:45What happened?
00:46Our one-year-old dog, Kippo, she really took a liking to Grasshopper.
00:51They became pretty inseparable after a couple weeks.
00:57Where's the ball smoother?
00:59Grasshopper has always had a confidence in him.
01:07He's never really been afraid.
01:10Yeah, buddy.
01:12Kippo has such a nurturing quality about her.
01:16Good girl, Hippo.
01:18And something about Grasshopper must have stood out.
01:27The longer Grasshopper stayed with us, the deeper we fell in love with him.
01:36Oh, boy.
01:39I didn't think that my partner would allow us to adopt another animal
01:44so close to adopting our dog, Hippo.
01:48Aww.
01:49So not only was Hippo attached,
01:51That's nice.
01:53My daughter was attached.
01:59I was attached.
02:06My partner, he noticed how attached Grasshopper was to every single member in our house.
02:15It was actually his idea to adopt him.
02:17He's officially a member of our family.
02:24I wanted to keep him.
02:27It's just so surprising that they said that I could keep him.
02:31He just kind of falls into my lap.
02:36He's just a loving boy and he loves to cuddle.
02:53Hahaha.
