00:00Echo VR is back, not fully but enough that you can still play games. To break it down
00:08quickly it's zero gravity, two teams of four, get the disc, pass the disc, try to score
00:15against the opposition, use each other to boost off and get there faster, punch someone
00:20and leave them stunned for 5 seconds, use walls and blocks to push off from, rank up
00:26through the levels, unlock more gear and skins to customise yourself. This game really was
00:32amazing and the most amazing thing about it was, it was free. There is nothing out there
00:39like Echo VR and the community was big, true and loyal. It had its own league and there
00:47were professional teams that would travel vast distances to compete. Now I wasn't at
00:54that kind of level, I just like to play and have fun, but like thousands out there, when
01:00they shut it down, it left a huge gap in my day from where I used to spend hours playing
01:06it. This game was missed so much that three copycat games got into development to try
01:13create something just like it. Rebounders, Hex VR and the biggest one A2. Keep an eye
01:22out for that one. Let me start by saying, if you didn't have this game installed on
01:27your Quest previously, then bad news for you, you can never experience how amazing this
01:33game is or was. I found it really difficult to play after 6 months of not playing it.
01:40Everything felt slower and I was getting exhausted fast, but it was good to be back. So here's
01:47some gameplay of an Echo game with my good Echo friend Caitlyn. So I rate this game a
