Thomas A Becket Infant School in Worthing reveals its new school library and author John Bond cuts the ribbon

00:07and I'm kind of very much looking forward to seeing

00:10what needs to be in this space and that's all the kids later.

00:30Welcome everybody, I'm Colette Wade, the Deputy Headteacher here at Thomas Becker Infant School

00:54and we are delighted to show off and reveal our brand new school library. It's a massive

01:02community project basically inspired by our incredible fabs who are our PTA. They have

01:11worked incredibly hard to fundraise the money to enable us to run this project and then various

01:19different companies, parents and carers, people in Worthing have been incredible in supporting

01:26the school to enable us to reveal our fantastic library. The children are going to love it

01:32because it is so immersive, it's so accessible, so fun, so will inspire their love of books

01:41and reading for pleasure and it just looks and feels fantastic.
