00:00Hi, I'm Anna Fancy, I'm Head of Pastoral here at Stampshore Infant School.
00:04And tell me why we're at the school today.
00:05So you're here today to join in our Red Nose Day celebration.
00:08We've got a dance-a-thon going all day, every single child is going to be taking part.
00:13And it's part of our fantastic community at Stampshore.
00:16We've got such an amazing community, everybody's so generous, so supportive.
00:20And we're hoping to raise lots of money to support other communities like ours in the UK and around the world.
00:27Tell me what the reaction's been like so far.
00:28It's been incredible. All our parents were in this morning.
00:31We had aunties and uncles dancing, we had grandmas dancing, little babies joining in.
00:37It was absolutely wonderful. Children are having a great day and we've raised lots of money already.
00:42So tell me why it's important to take part in events like this
00:46and for the children to understand what other children don't necessarily have.
00:52So we believe that the messages we want our children to go home with today
00:56are the messages of kindness and compassion.
00:59Also, we want them to understand that they can be part of change.
01:02And I think that's what we're creating today.
01:05They're having a day full of mixed with fun and dancing, but also they're learning those messages too.
