00:00This year marks the 67th anniversary of the SSS.

00:05So, as part of the celebration,

00:07their pensioners also gave their best

00:10in the annual activity of SSS Pensioners' Day.

00:14This is the story of Bernard Ferrer.

00:18Florinda has been a pensioner of SSS for almost 30 years.

00:22So, when she found out about SSS Pensioners' Day,

00:25she did not hesitate to go to the SSS main office

00:29on East Avenue in Quezon City.

00:31She immediately unveiled the free medical check-up,

00:34medicines, and freebies that are given to SSS Pensioners.

00:38I'm not blaming anyone. I went here.

00:41I'm so happy.

00:43I'm so happy.

00:45And I just heard

00:47that there's an anniversary day

00:50that they're celebrating.

00:53So, I took the opportunity

00:56that I'm happy with my life.

00:59Gilbert also went to the free medical check-up

01:01where she was also given medicines for her maintenance.

01:05Her story is that she plans to unveil

01:07the SSS Pension Loan Program.

01:09Of course, it's medicine.

01:12If I don't get my maintenance,

01:14I won't be able to get my medicine

01:16because I'm diabetic.

01:17SSS Pensioners' Day is an annual activity

01:20to make their pensioners rich.

01:23It's also part of the 67th anniversary

01:26of the SSS with the theme

01:28SSS at 67, the return of the new Philippines.

01:31We value their contribution

01:35when they're still working

01:37in their private work.

01:41This is a very special year

01:43because we're celebrating it

01:45in 18 different locations.

01:47SSS Kwentong Pensionado Campaign was also launched

01:50to share the stories and experiences

01:52of SSS pensioners.

01:54What they'll do is go to my.sss

01:58and share their story

02:00of being a pensioner

02:02of the SSS.

02:04So, there will be a grand prize winner

02:06of 67,000.

02:08The SSS Pension Loan Program was also discussed.

02:11To avail of this,

02:18your monthly pension plus 1,000.
