00:00So I wish to clarify that we are not, despite what we have made a decision two weeks ago,

00:39we, Malaysia Airways Group, need to uphold our commitment to the country's travel and tourism,

00:49The country's largest travel fair happens to take place this week,
00:53and as an official airline partner and premier sponsor of MATA,
00:58for the past many, many years, we have a commitment to appeal to our partners
01:03under the Malaysian Association of Tourism and Travel Agents,
01:08that we are here today for fully upholding our commitment.
01:12Therefore, we are showing up here today,
01:14vectored, but still all geared up to showcase cutting-edge innovations for all of you
01:23who are celebrating unity here in Malaysia through our various offerings.
01:27So ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to share our ongoing efforts to expand our network for future growth.
01:3529th August recently, IFAI began its first jet operation in Sulong Airport,
01:40making a significant milestone in expansion strategy.
01:44We have increased frequency of flights on the Amritsar-Kuala Lumpur route
01:50from four times to seven times a week in June.
01:54Additionally, we launched services to Maldives, Chiang Mai in August,
02:00and we are excited to announce that flights to Da Nang, Vietnam, will commence this coming 24th September.
02:07Alongside these routes, up to this day, we have strengthened our partnership with global airlines,
02:14such as China Southern Airlines, Indigo from India,
02:18and we have also reactivated the strategic agreement with Air Mauritius.
02:23There will be more in the part-time coming soon.
02:26To date, we have more than 30 airline partners supporting our network.
02:32We have actively expanded our reach by forming collaborations beyond traditional airline partnership.
02:38That is our Pillar 3, diversifying our partnership.
02:44Our alliances now include well-known sports clubs and organisations,
02:49notably with our established partnership with Manchester United,
02:52Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, Football Association of Malaysia,
02:57showcasing our commitment to innovate and diverse our collaboration.
03:02Our expansion now extends to another European destination,
03:07which we will be unveiling shortly.
03:10With the arrival of more wide-body aircraft from Kotakul this year,
03:15to be exact, 29 October 2024,
03:19we are in the right position to finally return this long-awaited city in Europe
03:25to expand our current and improve our current network.
03:28The European market is highly competitive in its turn.
03:32Yet, we see immense potential for this particular destination to capture key segments,
03:37not just from Malaysia but also from neighbouring cities.
03:42With the addition of this route into Malaysia Airlines Network,
03:45it will become the flagship airline to commence direct services
03:49from our home base in Kuala Lumpur into this destination.
03:54This route will be served by our Airbus A350-9 London aircraft,
03:59a superior product thus far, offering that is currently deployed in most of our key major routes,
04:05London, Goa and Namibia.
