00:00Hey, it's People in 10.
00:05With Labor Day behind us, it's officially the end of an era.
00:08It's Brat.
00:09You're Brat.
00:10That's Brat.
00:11Yeah, I am Brat.
00:12The Queen has spoken.
00:14Charli XCX declared Brat Summer is over, forever.
00:17This all took off in July after she dropped her summer album and even called presidential
00:21hopeful Kamala Harris Brat.
00:23From there, it really became the trend of 2024.
00:27But now, goodbye Lime Green.
00:29Goodbye being messy and goodbye saying dumb things sometimes.
00:32It was Brat while it lasted.
00:35Now we all know J.Lo had a summer of ups and downs, but she's got some sexy and glam pics
00:41to show for it.
00:42And I'll tell you what, if I look like this when I'm 55, you'll see me posting the same
00:46thing.
00:47Now, aside from the thirst traps, her summer photo dump also featured her sister Linda
00:51and her kids, Emi and Max.
00:53She's still in the midst of her divorce from Ben Affleck, but it will not stop her from
00:57bringing the heat.
01:00The Venice Film Festival gave us so much FOMO.
01:02All these celebs soaking up that Dolce Vita.
01:04That includes the Cloonies, who grabbed dinner one night at their favorite restaurant with
01:08their bestie Brad Pitt and Brad's girlfriend, Anesta Ramon, before they went red carpet
01:13official at The Wolf's premiere.
01:15The group spent two tasty hours enjoying zucchini flowers, truffle risotto, and of course, pasta
01:20and wine.
01:21But what's for dessert?
01:22I'm glad you asked.
01:24Brad and George had tiramisu, while the gals chose wild strawberries with strawberry sorbet.
01:28Sounds delicious.
01:31Prince Harry surprised us all by visiting the UK last week.
01:34But I mean, the who, what, and why of it all.
01:37Let's call Simon.
01:41Hey, Mako.
01:41How's it going?
01:42Hey, Simon.
01:42Okay, so we all thought that Harry was not going to make this trip, which was for his
01:46uncle's funeral.
01:47What changed?
01:49You're right.
01:49It was understood that Harry wasn't going to be able to make it over here for the funeral,
01:53but clearly he was happy to do so in the end.
01:56And not only that, the friends and family that he spoke to and was seen with at the
02:01memorial service were very pleased to see him.
02:03We were told he seemed to be enjoying catching up with people.
02:07And at the same time, they were really welcoming to him.
02:10Did Harry get to see his brother, Prince William, at all?
02:13Well, he would have seen him.
02:14We don't believe they interacted very much.
02:16They sat at different sides of the aisle at the church, and they were seen talking amongst
02:21other members of their family, their extended family, their cousins on Princess Diana's
02:25side.
02:26But they weren't seen spending any meaningful time together, no.
02:30Did Harry get to see his dad at all, the King?
02:32Not this time, no.
02:33We understand that the King, King Charles, is up in Scotland at Balmoral Castle, where
02:37he's still undergoing cancer treatment.
02:39Having said that, of course, Harry and his father are having quite a deep rift at the
02:44moment.
02:44They're finding it very difficult, we understand, to even have close conversations.
02:48And at the root of that is a problem that Harry sees over his security, or lack of,
02:53that he lost when he stepped back from royal duties.
02:56He believes it should be reinstated, and he believes his father can help with that.
03:00There's a lot to sort out there, and a lot to iron out before he feels he can bring Meghan
03:05and the children over more often, and for him to come more easily as well.
03:09Ah, these family dynamics.
03:10Thank you for the info, Simon.
03:12I'll talk to you later.
03:13No problem.
03:13Speech again.
03:15Well, legends collided at this year's US Open.
03:17Serena Williams, six-time champ, meet the Honey Deuce, the number one drink at the tournament.
03:23If you're wondering how Serena never tasted it, well, she's been kind of busy.
03:27So what's the verdict?
03:28Honey, that's not deuce.
03:30That's called honey add-in, or honey ace.
03:33Let's rename it.
03:34It is good.
03:35Serena also met up with Alicia Keys, another legend, to watch a match and record a TikTok.
03:41Mission accomplished.
03:45We know moms can do it all, but this is next level.
03:48Team Great Britain's Jodie Grinnell made history on Saturday when she won the bronze
03:52medal in archery, becoming the first athlete ever to win a Paralympics medal while pregnant.
03:57Yeah, you heard right.
03:59She is seven months pregnant.
04:00If that wasn't enough, she went on to nab gold in the mixed team compound two days later.
04:05Get it, mama.
04:07Oasis shocked the world when they confirmed they're reuniting for a tour.
04:11But as fans broke the internet with their reaction,
04:13they also broke Ticketmaster trying to secure their seats.
04:16There were complaints of inflated prices, long waits, lots of broken pages.
04:20And the company isn't taking any responsibility.
04:22They say they don't set the prices and insist the site did not crash.
04:26Well, tell that to the person who waited in the queue for five hours only to get an error message.
04:31Ouch.
04:31I'm not assuming these two will even stay together long enough to hit the stage.
04:35I guess we'll see.
04:38While Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter keep us guessing about their relationship,
04:42one thing's for sure.
04:43This guy can shred.
04:45Look at that wheelie.
04:46This clearly isn't his first rodeo.
04:48The man knows his way around two wheels, OK?
04:50Proven bikes can be grown up fun, too.
04:53And so can dolls.
04:54Specifically, this Bratz doll inspired by Sabrina's Taste music video with Jenna Ortega.
04:59Barry made it known he wants one bad.
05:01Come on, Bratz, hook him up.
05:05Our quote of the week is a little rom-com throwback courtesy of Richard Gere,
05:08speaking about his Pretty Woman co-star Julia Roberts.
05:11So what happened after he climbed up the tower and rescued her?
05:16She rescues him right back.
05:18So he was at a master class where they had him watch the piano scene, which is steamy, right?
05:23But here's what he said.
05:24This actor and this actress obviously had no chemistry between them.
05:29What a comedian.
05:30This is clearly a joke because then he added,
05:33I haven't seen that in a long time.
05:34That's a sexy scene.
05:36Yeah, we'd say so.
05:37And get this.
05:38At the time, they thought it was just a tiny movie
05:41and they weren't even sure if anyone would see it.
05:43Boy, were they wrong.
05:45Oh!
05:47Now it's the sit down with Jamie Lynn Siegler.
05:50Hi, Jamie.
05:51You've had a rollercoaster of a summer, to say the least.
05:54First off, how's everyone doing, including you?
05:57Thank you for asking.
05:58We're all doing well.
05:59I think we're on the other side of a lot of things.
06:02We've had so much love and so much support and so much life happen.
06:09But I think that we are stronger and better for it.
06:12Better for it and brighter days are ahead.
06:16As a mom with multiple kids, how do you keep your peace of mind?
06:20Any tips for any parents out there?
06:22Ever since we've had Alexa Emergency Assist,
06:25I think the peace of mind that it's given my family and my children,
06:30knowing that you can get quick and personalized help at any moment,
06:33just by literally saying, Alexa, call for help,
06:37has been a game changer for us.
06:38One of my kids has very, very severe allergies to certain medications.
06:42So knowing that all of that information would be given to a first responder,
06:46where we live, contacting all of our emergency contacts for us if we need,
06:50which could include me if I'm not home.
06:53Like I said, giving us as a family a peace of mind,
06:55but also really empowered my kids that they have the confidence
06:57that they would know what to do.
06:59You've called your MS diagnosis almost a superpower.
07:01What life lessons has MS taught you that you now find yourself
07:05passing down to your boys?
07:07Life will continue to happen.
07:08The unexpected will continue to happen.
07:11But the things that happen to us don't define us.
07:14They don't mean that life needs to put on hold.
07:17It doesn't mean that you're not capable of still achieving your dreams,
07:21that sometimes you need to pivot.
07:23Sometimes you need to adjust.
07:25I've allowed my kids to witness that.
07:27In turn, they are more aware.
07:29I think they're more empathetic to other people and what they're going through.
07:34But they also remind me of my own strength
07:36and what I'm accomplishing and being capable of.
07:39Having my kids' support and having them remind me that I am just like every other mom,
07:45even if I don't feel like I am physically,
07:48has just been really, just really wonderful
07:51and allowed us to have more, you know,
07:55maybe deeper conversations than we would have otherwise.
07:59I'm limited in certain ways,
08:01but I think it's also allowed me to have a different view of life
08:04that I wouldn't have without it.
08:06We are huge fans of Christina Applegate here at People Mag.
08:10Tell us something that we don't know about her.
08:12Oh, well, I mean, you all know how funny she is.
08:14Oh, I'm so happy you're okay.
08:16Oh God, maybe the hugging's gonna kill me.
08:19Sorry.
08:19It's okay. I love you.
08:20I love you too.
08:21She is the most loving and supportive friend.
08:25I mean, she is there for you for whatever you need.
08:28She has got your back.
08:30She's an awesome friend.
08:34In just a couple of weeks, it'll be 20 years
08:36since the Sopranos won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series
08:39for the first time.
08:40You were there in the most gorgeous green gown.
08:42What do you remember about that night?
08:44My God, that was like one of my favorite,
08:46like it was Monique Lulier.
08:47It was like, you know, it was the summer.
08:49I had a tan going on.
08:51It all worked.
08:53But that was an incredibly special night.
08:54Anytime we went to those award shows,
08:57they were always so special.
08:59Not because you were at an award show.
09:01We would all fly to LA together.
09:03We would all be in a hotel together.
09:05We would all ride to the awards in the limos together.
09:08It was really just about us celebrating
09:10what we were doing as a group.
09:12It was our time to celebrate the show,
09:16each other, bond, hang out in ways
09:19that we just couldn't do when we were filming back at home.
09:21So to me, I cherished all the Emmys
09:24and the Golden Globes and all of those
09:26because it was just, they were my favorite memories
09:29of us just sort of letting loose and partying
09:31and being able to celebrate what we got to be a part of
09:35in a really, really special way.
09:37Do the constant new waves of Sopranos fans
09:39still surprise you?
09:40What do you think James Gandolfini would make of it?
09:42Oh my God.
09:43You know, he'd probably be loving it
09:45and bothered by it all at the same time
09:47because he was such an incredible actor
09:51and the discipline and the respect that he had
09:54for being an actor was just unmatched.
09:58But also he hated being famous.
10:01I could feel his struggle with the fame of it all,
10:05but also loving what he did so much.
10:07There's two Tony Sopranos.
10:10You've never seen the other one.
10:11That's the one I wanna show to you.
10:13Okay, we're gonna put 10 seconds on the clock,
10:15promote any one of your current projects.
10:17Ready? Go.
10:18Please check me out with my podcast,
10:20Messy with Christina Applegate
10:22and my other podcast, Not Today Pal with Robert Eiler.
10:25Jamie, thank you so much for being here today.
10:29Thank you, you too.
