00:00The government is doing everything it can to help our countrymen affected by Hurricane Enteng.
00:08The Department of Social Welfare and Development is doing everything it can to help the affected families.

00:19At the same time of Hurricane Enteng, the government is doing everything it can to help the affected families.
00:30Today, the Department of Social Welfare and Development visited an evacuation center in Barangay San Jose in Antipolo City
00:40to assess the situation of the families affected by Hurricane Enteng.
00:44As part of the preparation, the DSWD Ilocos prepositioned additional family food packs to 11 warehouses in different areas of the region.
00:55Yesterday, the DSWD NCR distributed 7,500 family food packs to Marikina and Pasig.
01:05In Eastern Visayas, almost 2,000 family food packs were distributed by the DSWD to the families affected by Hurricane Enteng in the town of Alen in Northern Samar
01:18while more than 1,000 family food packs were distributed in the town of Lavezares.
01:25With the help of the Bureau of Fire Protection and LGU staff, more than 600 family food packs and more than 100 non-food items were distributed in the town of Biri.
01:36In Bicol, 3,000 family food packs were distributed to the towns of Libon and Pio Duran in Albay
01:44while 8 barangays in the town of Kamali were left unattended.
01:49Similarly, in different barangays in the town of Polanggi, 2,000 family food packs were distributed in the Naga City Hall
01:58while hot meals were distributed to the Angels in Red Vests to more than 600 passengers stranded in the areas of Masbate, Sorsogon, and Albay.
02:09Meanwhile, as of 6 a.m. today, more than 440 barangays in the country were affected by Hurricane Enteng and Habagat
02:19where more than 176,000 families were affected or equivalent to more than 860,000 residents.
02:30At the same time, the DSWD also provided assistance to more than 76 million pesos worth of humanitarian assistance.
02:42At present, the DSWD has more than 2 billion pesos worth of relief resources.
02:48If the government is determined, the situation will be put in place to meet the needs of our countrymen.
