00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:09In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
00:17O Seen, and the Wise Qur'an
00:27Indeed, you are of the messengers
00:34On a straight path
00:41A revelation of the Almighty, the Merciful
00:49That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless
01:11The Word has come into effect on most of them, but they do not believe
01:23Indeed, We have placed shackles around their necks, so that they are on their chins, and they are straitened
01:43And We have placed before them a barrier, and behind them a barrier, and We have covered them, so they do not see
02:05And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe
02:19You only warn those who follow the Reminder, fearing the Most Merciful in the unseen
02:31So give him good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward
02:40Indeed, it is We who give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and their traces, and all things We have enumerated in a clear record
03:02And set forth for them an example of the people of the city, when the messengers came to it
03:16When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened with a third, and they said, We are to you messengers
03:42They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not sent down anything
04:08You are but lying
04:15They said, Our Lord knows that we are to you messengers
04:27And we are not responsible except for clear communication
04:36They said, Indeed, we have become infatuated with you. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and a painful punishment will surely touch you from us
04:58They said, Your bird is with you. Have you been reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people
05:16And a man came running from the farthest part of the city. He said, O my people, follow the messengers
05:33Follow those who do not ask you for a reward, and they are guided
05:44And why should I not worship the One who created me and to Him you will be returned
05:56Should I take besides Him gods if the Most Merciful intends for me harm that will not avail me of their intercession at all
06:23And they will not be saved
06:28Indeed, then I am in clear error
06:37Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen
06:46They were told, Enter Paradise. He said, I wish my people knew
06:56How my Lord forgave me and made me of the honored
07:04And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the sky, nor would We have sent them down
07:31It was not but one blast, and at once they were dead
07:43Oh, regret for the servants! There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to mock at him
08:00Did they not see how many generations We destroyed before them that to them they will not return
08:13And indeed, all of them, when they are gathered before Us, will be brought forth
08:23And a sign for them is the dead land. We gave it life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat
08:38And We placed therein gardens of date palms and grapevines, and We caused therein to burst forth springs
08:54That they may eat of its fruit, and what their hands have done. Will they not then be grateful
09:07Exalted is He who created all species from what the earth produces, and from themselves, and from that which they do not know
09:30And a sign for them is the night. We cause the day to pass from it, and at once they are oppressed
09:44And the sun runs to its abode. That is the decree of the Almighty, the All-Knowing
09:54And the moon, We have determined its phases, until it returns to you, the old crescent
10:05The sun should not reach the moon, nor should the night overtake the day. And each is in an orbit swimming
10:28And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the loaded ship
10:40And We created for them from the like of it that which they ride
10:49And if We willed, We could drown them, but there would be no cry for them, nor would they be saved
11:01Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time
11:11And when it is said to them, "[You should be aware of what is before you and what is behind you, so that you may be shown mercy."
11:27And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they turn away from them
11:44And when it is said to them, "[You should spend from that which Allāh has provided for you.] Those who disbelieve say to those who believe,
12:06Should we feed those whom Allāh had willed to feed? You are not but in manifest error
12:21And they say, when is this promise, if you are truthful?
12:32They do not wait except for one blast which will seize them while they dispute
12:45So they cannot make a decision, nor will they return to their people
12:58And the Horn will be blown, and at once they will descend from the graves to their Lord
13:10They will say, O woe to us! Who has raised us from our bed? This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth
13:29It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us
13:44So this Day no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
13:59Indeed, the companions of Paradise today are in a fruitful occupation
14:11They and their wives are in shade on couches, reclining
14:22They will have therein fruit, and they will have what they ask for
14:32Peace is a word from a Merciful Lord
14:41And excel today, O criminals
14:49Did I not make a covenant with you, O Children of Adam, that you would not worship Satan? Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy
15:09And that you should worship Me? This is a straight path
15:18And indeed, he has led astray many of you from the right path. Have you not, then, reason?
15:32This is Hell, which you were promised
15:41Burn therein today for what you used to disbelieve
15:50This Day We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn
16:12And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, but they hastened to the path, so how could they see
16:27And if We willed, We could have wiped over their place, but they could not pass by or return
16:43And whoever We give life to, We cause him to die in creation. Do they not understand?
16:54And We did not teach him poetry, nor is it appropriate for him. It is nothing but a reminder and a clear Qur'an
17:11To warn one who is alive, and the word will be justified against the disbelievers
17:23Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made cattle, and they are its owners?
17:41And We have made it low for them, and from it they ride, and from it they eat
17:51And for them therein are benefits and drinks. Will they not be grateful?
18:01And they have taken besides Allāh gods that they might be helped
18:14They will not be able to help them, and they will have for themselves soldiers to bring them.
18:26So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare
18:40Do they not see that We have created man from a sperm, and at once he is a clear adversary?
18:56And he presents to Us an example, but he forgets his creation. He says, who will give life to the bones while they are scattered?
19:09Say, He will give life to it who created it the first time, and He is, of all creation, Knowing
19:26He who made for you from the green tree a fire, and at once you light from it
19:41Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create like them? Yes, and He is the Knowing Creator
20:00His command is only, when He intends a thing, that He says to it, Be, and it is
20:22So exalted is He in Whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned
