00:00Hello, so that's me made it to Dunnet Head which is the most northern point on the UK
00:29mainland. Behind me you can see there's a lighthouse up here and it was built by the
00:34grandfather of Robert Louis Stevenson and yeah it's it's also an RSPB nature reserve
00:42up here and there's a point just down from where I'm standing where you can watch quite
00:47a lot of different species of bird flying sort of around the cliffs here and today I've
00:52already seen Guillemot, Razorbill, Gannets, Kittiwakes, Falmers so yeah it's obviously
00:59a really good place for for bird life and to come and come and look at them look at
01:05them as well but yeah so it's quite interesting I think a lot of people think that John O'Groats
01:11is the most northern point in the UK because of the popular route John O'Groats to Land's
01:16End but it is actually where I'm standing just now Dunnet Head and yeah quite a few
01:22visitors here people obviously coming to see it for that reason but it's also a very nice
01:29lighthouse and there's still the lighthouse keepers cottage as well on site but yeah from
01:34here I'm going to be heading west now towards Thurso and on towards Cape Roth where I'm
01:39hoping to see another lighthouse up there as well.
