00:00It is day three of the Paralympics, we got two more gold medals and I'm here to tell
00:06you all about them.
00:07First up, we have Amanda Reid, who at velodrome got us another gold, our cyclists are killing
00:12it.
00:13She successfully defended her gold medal from Tokyo 2020, where she was the last person
00:18actually out in the velodrome during her time trial sprint.
00:21She knew exactly what she needed to do and she did it beautifully.
00:24She was cool.
00:25She was calm.
00:26She was collected.
00:27She got herself a gold medal and good on it.
00:28She's a very talented multi-athlete as well, so you're on the snow slopes and in the pool
00:31sometimes.
00:32Meanwhile, in the women's doubles table tennis, we won gold there as well.
00:37The Australian team beat Chinese Taipei on three sets to one in a best of five match.
00:42Very exciting for them.
00:43Unfortunately, with the highs, so too come the lows and Jared Clifford perhaps is our
00:47biggest low for the night.
00:50So close to getting a bronze medal in his 5,000 meter run.
00:53He's a visually impaired athlete and he must be tethered to his guide at all times.
00:56Unfortunately, in some of that excitement towards last streak, he came untethered and
01:01has such been disqualified.
01:03He is absolutely gutted and we are gutted for him, but what an amazing effort all the
01:07same and same true to all of our bronze and silver medalists overnight.
