00:00Can't stress enough for the parents to over children. Ryan Craddock, Cohen's father, says it has not set in yet. His son is gone.
00:10A kid had a heart of gold. Loved to make other people happy. He liked to, you know, joke.
00:15He says Cohen had an outstanding personality. Liked playing football as much for the camaraderie as for the game itself.
00:22This was his second year playing. He liked the social gathering part and then being, just making buddies.
00:30Ryan says his understanding of what happened is while his son was playing defense during practice Friday,
00:37he was hit and knocked down and suffered an injury to the head that caused a brain bleed and brain swelling.
00:43You're in disbelief. You wish it was a bad dream that you could wake up from.
00:47It's agony inside that I just, I can't put words to it. It's terrible.
00:52The father says he intends to work toward getting other players guardian caps,
00:56equipment that offers a further layer of protection for the head,
01:00not wanting any other parent to suffer the kind of heartache he and his family are going through.
01:06I want to take the loss of my boy to maybe try to protect these other guys. I don't want anybody else to experience this.
