00:00Poetic justice. My friend chef's kiss as some shall say when the final out of the San Diego
00:10Padres game was recorded by Nolan Arenado with an amazing defensive play by Manny Machado.
00:17Why is that a chef's kiss like perfect ending here? Because Browner, I don't know how you
00:22perceive it. Arenado gets all the shine and Machado just kind of left in the dust and
00:25they're the exact same player. Like they are the exact same player. I should, I don't even
00:32know why I didn't bring this up. Do you? Like if I pull up their career numbers, you're
00:37going to tell who's who. Dude, you literally like it's insane. Look at their career numbers
00:43from MLB. They posted this earlier today. Career war Machado 56.4, Arenado 56.3 career
00:50average Machado 279, Arenado 285 OPS, eight 26, eight 59 hits. Like look at it. It's the
00:57same thing. They play gold glove defense. They play exceptional offense. They are, I
01:04believe a year apart from each other. It's insane how much these two are alike.
01:10I think one of the, one of the reasons why this became a huge talking point here in Southern
01:14California for us is because the Manny was up for the MVP. Nolan Arenado was also up
01:19for the MVP in St. Louis. And I think he won it. If I remember correctly, I think gold
01:24Schmidt won it in 2022. Yeah. Cause that's the year Manny carried the team to the playoffs.
01:31Right. And I said, and that's also the year where I think I, we, I definitely thought
01:36he would win it. Cause St. Louis had two guys in gold. Schmidt won it. Yeah. And I thought
01:40they were going to take votes from each other and it turns out they did not. Turns out they
01:44did not. So that's when he was very much the MVP that year. You're absolutely, absolutely.
01:50Not enough, not enough help, but he still carried the team and didn't have it. It ain't
01:53got no hard way to show for it at the end of the day.
