गोल्फ के दिग्गज भारतीय खिलाड़ी जीव मिल्खा सिंह ने आईएएनएस से बातचीत में कहा कि हमारे गोल्फ खिलाड़ियों को ओलंपिक में ज़्यादा ध्यान देने की ज़रूरत है, एथलेटिक्स तब से बदल गया है जब मेरे पिता ने इसे शुरू किया था और अब। वो सिर्फ भारतीय जर्सी पहनना चाहते थे और देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करना चाहते थे। अब एथलीटों को सरकार से पूरा समर्थन मिल रहा है, वे ज़्यादा दृढ़ हैं, देश के लिए मरना चाहते हैं। और यही वजह है कि हम पदक जीत रहे हैं।
