00:00Hello, Rich Fay here from Manchester World bringing you news that Manchester United have
00:06agreed a deal to sign Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain in the final week of the summer
00:12transfer window. United have agreed an initial deal of around £42 million which will include
00:20another €10 million, so £8.5 million in potential add-ons. So the total value of the
00:26deal will be around £50 million for Manchester United. Ugarte, their top midfield target,
00:32United believe that their patient approach has paid off. PSG were holding out for the
00:38£60 million Euro valuation that they paid for him a year ago when they signed him from
00:43Sporting Lisbon. United took the time, they didn't want to be rushed into a deal and they
00:48have secured that one. Manuel Ugarte could even travel to Manchester on Tuesday expecting
00:54a medical in the next 24 hours or so and he should be unveiled Wednesday or Thursday
01:00really and in line to make a potential Premier League debut against Liverpool this weekend.
01:06The deal for Ugarte is partially financed by the sales of Scott McTominay and Hannibal
01:12Medjberi. Scott McTominay will be leaving for Napoli. United have agreed a deal in the
01:18region of £25 million up front for Scott McTominay. He will go to the Serie A side.
01:25United just felt it was too good to turn down really for a player who is a squad option
01:29at best. Eric Ten Haag is a very big fan of Scott McTominay but United just felt that
01:35they couldn't really refuse that sort of money for, like we said, a player who is on the
01:39periphery, on the fringe of the United team. And Hannibal Medjberi, he will be leaving
01:43in a permanent deal to join Championship side Burnley. That deal could rise to around
01:49£9 million, maybe £9.5 million. United will also have a significant sell-on clause in
01:56that deal. So they will have a 10% sell-on clause in the McTominay deal and PSG will
02:01have a 10% sell-on clause in the Ugarte deal. So, significant sell-on clause for Hannibal.
02:07That could rise, like we said, to £9 million, £9.5 million. Three midfield transfers before
02:12deadline day. Then one arrival in Ugarte and we will see McTominay and Hannibal both
02:17leave Manchester United. You can follow all the latest Shelter news with us on Manchester
