00:04I'm Mike Fisher in Frisco, home of the Dallas Cowboys where they have just agreed to a contract

00:08extension with C.D.

00:09Lamb, an inevitable contract extension, four years predictable.

00:15The APY makes him the second highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

00:20Justin Jefferson, Minnesota has $35 million per year, C.D.

00:23Lamb gets $34 million, $100 million guaranteed, that's a whopper.

00:29And then right around $38 million as a signing bonus up front, that's pretty big too.

00:36There were a lot of worrying, a lot of jousting, a lot of silly words exchanged, none of them

00:42really had any impact on negotiations whatsoever.

00:45All that really mattered was C.D.

00:47Lamb, somewhere between 32 and 35 was where we were going to land.

00:52If you look at the idea that maybe they should have split the difference there, that that

00:56would have been fair, then C.D.

00:58Lamb wins the deal.

00:59Ultimately though, the Cowboys plan and the master plan, and it's worked really well in

01:03building a fine roster, draft them, develop them, and dollar them.

01:09And that just happened with the Dallas Cowboys and C.D.
