00:00People seem to hold certain players to account based on individual mistakes that they've made.
00:06Look at Joel, Joel hadn't made a mistake today.
00:07Exactly but...
00:08If Kieran Checker makes the same mistake I guarantee he's hammered for it.
00:12Opinions change when a player might be leaving.
00:15Eddie Howe admitted as much in terms of Newcastle in general still need to get up to speed.
00:21Jordi Jurno's here at the Vitality Stadium where Newcastle United have drawn 1-1 with
00:32Bournemouth but that doesn't tell the full story Jordi.
00:36Plenty to talk about.
00:37We've seen Anthony Gordon score a goal, Marcus Tavernier score a goal,
00:40Bournemouth have a goal disallowed.
00:43Some interesting performances, some good performances, bad performances.
00:47So where do you want to start?
00:49Shall we start at the end because I think that's...
00:51We'll start at the end then we'll work our way back to the start.
00:54What better place to start?
00:58Yeah, I thought Newcastle were fortunate to see Bournemouth's goal chalked off.
01:06Not one person appeared for it in the stadium and even Eddie Howe said afterwards it was a welcome...
01:12Surprise?
01:13Surprise, I was going to say boost there because I'm so used to saying that word.
01:16It was a welcome surprise that VAR did intervene and disallow it for a handball.
01:22Now it's hit him here.
01:26Is that a handball?
01:28I think because the referees give it...
01:30Is it a goal?
01:31Yes, I think it should stand because I don't think it's a clear and obvious error.
01:36If the shoe was on that foot and that was Newcastle scoring a last-minute winner here
01:39today and it was chalked off.
01:40We're kicking the tripod.
01:41We're going...
01:42Exactly.
01:42Good job Liam's not here.
01:43We'll hear him from Egypt or wherever he's on holiday.
01:46If that's Dan Byrne putting it in, I was going to say that in there.
01:50You can't even see it but if Dan Byrne scores a last-minute goal like that and it gets chalked
01:55off from VAR, there would be fans, probably even us, questioning VAR after another week
02:04of a poor decision after the Fabian Scher one as well.
02:06The agenda from VAR against Newcastle.
02:08So I thought Newcastle were really fortunate to see that goal chalked off but on the overall
02:13result, I would say, if you ignore that moment, I would say Newcastle probably deserved the
02:19draw.
02:21First 15 minutes, going back to the start now, first 15 minutes they started really
02:28well.
02:29Alexander Izak created a couple of chances where Anthony Gordon just didn't quite have
02:34that sharpness in the first half to anticipate the ball coming into the box or get in the
02:38right areas and obviously did that in the second half when he scored the equaliser.
02:42I think he improved as the game went on and I think he's had a few cobwebs to blow off.
02:48But yeah, from that 15-20 minute period when Newcastle looked in control, Bournemouth
02:53really started to pile the pressure on you guys in terms of the press.
02:58Lots of players in the white shirt today guilty of giving the ball away.
03:06Nick Pope, I lost count of how many panicked clearances he made with his left foot today
03:11because Bournemouth were just so on top of Newcastle in terms of that press and not giving
03:16Newcastle any room.
03:18And I thought the other probably in the end deserved it, he sort of took the lead.
03:25Joe Linton, excellent last week but wasn't very good today.
03:31He was a 4 out of 10 in my Newcastle World Player Ratings, check them out.
03:36Dom, he was a 3 out of 10.
03:38I was not happy with Joe Linton today.
03:42He was my man of the match last week.
03:45Last week, rightly so, Joe Linton was described as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
03:50And on his day, he is.
03:53But he is not because of that consistency.
03:56And I think the same happened this time last season where he would be great one week and
04:01then the next game he just couldn't, for whatever reason, maintain those sort of levels.
04:07Naturally, I think instinct-wise, he's not necessarily a midfielder and sometimes
04:12thinks he has more time than he does, his touch sometimes lets him down.
04:15It was just one of those games from Joe Linton I'm not going to come out and absolutely hammer him.
04:19You've just got to judge him.
04:19I'll give him his 3 out of 10 based on 90 minutes today.
04:23He was a 4 out of 10 until he decides to absolutely whack Neto, which is a shocking behaviour.
04:29Eddie Howe said he'd reprimand him for that behaviour and I thought he was possibly
04:35somewhat at fault for the disallowed goal as well.
04:37Anthony Gordon deserved the equaliser.
04:40Bournemouth had a couple of chances where you're like, oh god, it's got a reaction from them.
04:44Ben Newcastle last 10 minutes or so were just peppering Neto.
04:48Bournemouth had him, the goalkeeper to thank for keeping them in the game.
04:53Dan Burns should have scored.
04:54Before that, Joe Linton should have scored.
04:56Alexander Isak should have scored.
04:57Bruno? Bruno shouldn't have scored but it was a top save.
05:00Bruno, it was a great effort and an even better save.
05:04Bournemouth were possibly lucky to be heading into stoppage time with the score still at 1-1
05:10but Newcastle were definitely lucky that the game ended 1-1.
05:14The substitutes that came on were absolutely brilliant.
05:18Before I come on to the guy that we're going to talk about, I'm going to start with Lewis Hall first.
05:22Yes, excellent.
05:23The two full-backs switched up when Kieran Trippier came on around the hour mark.
05:28I thought he settled things right down and brought a bit of...
05:31He took the sting out of the game.
05:32He did, showed his experience.
05:35Really good from set-pieces again today, which he hadn't been for maybe a while.
05:43His set-pieces have been off a little bit but I thought he put in some really dangerous balls into the box.
05:48Defended well so I thought his experience helped to calm Newcastle down.
05:54On the other side, I thought Lewis Hall, as much as he helped Newcastle get on the front foot,
05:59bringing his pace and energy to get down the left-hand side,
06:02I thought he made some really vital defensive contributions as well.
06:04So there's the two full-backs and then, of course, the obvious one who ended up setting up the goal,
06:10the equaliser for Anthony Gordon was Harvey Barnes.
06:13We'll be the first to admit that we've been critics of Harvey Barnes, shall we say?
06:17It was an unrecognisable Harvey Barnes based on what we'd seen in pre-season.
06:21But Harvey Barnes, we've consistently said he has that game-changing impact from the bench
06:27and he brought that today.
06:28He was excellent.
06:28He was taking players on, putting balls into the box.
06:31Could have scored himself.
06:32He was brilliant.
06:34But I think our criticism of Harvey Barnes potentially is we think that's his place in the side.
06:40And he's probably supported that argument today, but he was excellent today.
06:44I think he was.
06:46I agree.
06:46I think he probably has proved our point where we haven't quite seen
06:50Harvey Barnes at his best from the start of games.
06:52Now, if he puts in performances like that and cameos,
06:55then realistically Eddie Howe has to start him and that's when his opportunity has to come.
07:01He probably did that today.
07:02He's probably knocked on the door today.
07:05As I say, the full-back was barely tested in the first half.
07:12The ball-mouthed full-back.
07:14And Harvey Barnes actually got him, put some really good balls in the box.
07:19As you mentioned, he had a shot narrowly wide as well.
07:21Maybe he should have scored because I think he had a bit more time than what he thought.
07:24But I think you described him as a game-changer in that game and he was.
07:29He's a boxer.
07:29He was.
07:30Eight out of ten for me.
07:31I don't know what you would give him.
07:32Same.
07:34So, you know, fair play to him.
07:35I think personally, I thought he came on with a look like a lad that had a point to prove.
07:40There were suggestions that he'd been disappointed with the decision to be left out at the start.
07:43Which I think is fair enough, actually.
07:45Because he's had a full pre-season, albeit an underwhelming one.
07:49But Anthony Gordon, who Eddie Howe spoke about queueing Trippie out,
07:53leaving him out because he's been at the Euros.
07:55Okay, Anthony Gordon played five minutes at the Euros,
07:57but mentally he's been away in Germany.
07:59He's been training every day.
08:00He hasn't had that just break that two weeks on the beach, if you like, to just reset.
08:06So, yeah, Anthony Gordon, again, an underwhelming start to the season
08:11by his high standards that he set last season.
08:14So I think Harvey Barnes could probably feel slightly aggrieved.
08:17But Anthony Gordon, I thought, once he scored his goal,
08:21with the type of run that he should have made for Alexander Isak in the first half,
08:25with that ball into the box.
08:26Once he scored his goal, he looked like a new player almost.
08:29He got that sort of string in his step and he was trying to beat his man.
08:33I think he probably, Eddie Howe admitted as much,
08:36in terms of Newcastle in general, still need to get up to speed.
08:40And there's still a bit of rust.
08:41And it's been a disjointed pre-season and I think we're seeing a bit of that.
08:45Lloyd Kelly made his debut today.
08:47Tough debut for him.
08:48It was, yeah.
08:48I mean, I really like, I think we mentioned Semeny on the way down.
08:52I really like him.
08:53I think he's direct.
08:57He's powerful.
08:58I mean, I'm not saying sign Semeny,
09:02but I think if he was in Newcastle's team, I'd be better for it on that right-hand side.
09:05On the right-hand side, it was ineffective the first hour.
09:11Is that, so, from what I understand, it doesn't look like,
09:14as we stand here now, it doesn't sound like Newcastle are going to get a right winger.
09:18So is the key to success, playing that front three,
09:22that nearly end of the game in the front three,
09:24is Gordon on the right, Isaac down the middle and Harvey Barnes on the left.
09:28Is that Newcastle's best way of success?
09:31Because the right-hand side position, as much as we praised Jacob Murphy,
09:36because he had a brilliant pre-season and done well at the back end of last season,
09:39we've always said that he's not a long-term answer.
09:42There's still question marks over Armiron's future.
09:44I think he'll stay, but I think it's all the talk of his future has
09:47actually impacted him in a really negative way, as it would.
09:50And it feels like that right-hand position,
09:52as much as the talk of a centre-half, we've said it all along,
09:55I think the right-hand side is almost as equal a priority as a centre-half,
10:00if not bigger, because they lack so much quality on that right-hand side.
10:03And I think you've seen that today, when there were chances,
10:05when I think the first 10, 15 minutes, Bruno was good,
10:08and he was getting passes out the right-hand side,
10:11and they didn't have that quality down the right-hand side,
10:14or just that ability to get past the full-back.
10:17It's not a want of trying from Jacob Murphy.
10:19I really like him. I think he's found a place in his team,
10:21but he's not the long-term answer.
10:24So if they don't sign a right-winger, is that Newcastle's best front three?
10:30Even though you're taking Gordon out of probably his best position?
10:33Yeah, quite possibly.
10:34And we saw last season, in glimpses, when Harvey Barnes would come on
10:38and go to that front three, like they did for the last half-hour today.
10:43Newcastle had really good spells.
10:47I think you posed the question, Eddie, how at one point,
10:49if you had that front three, Newcastle's scoring rate was incredible,
10:54because they scored a lot of goals against Spurs with that front three.
10:56I think Anthony Gordon actually had his best game of last season,
10:59said on this channel before, playing as a right-winger against Spurs.
11:04But then once Eddie Howe put them in from the start,
11:06which is the criticism of Harvey Barnes, they were less impactful.
11:11So do you go, look, I've always got this weapon on the bench, if you like,
11:16and to revert to that, or do you go in from the start and go,
11:21no, this is my most effective way to line up?
11:25I just think if you're having to depend on Jacob Murphy and Miguel Aron
11:29for a large chunk of the season, which they'll have to,
11:32is it worth every so often switching up and playing that front three?
11:35I think it probably is.
11:37But that sort of probably contradicts myself
11:41in what I've said about Harvey Barnes being in back subs.
11:43So if Harvey Barnes can start showing it from the start
11:46maybe that might be the way where he starts to play on the left
11:50and Gordon moves to the right and Harvey Barnes has a good run on the team.
11:52And maybe that's the best of Harvey Barnes from the start.
12:02Eddie Howe was asked if he was confident he would get the...
12:08He was asked if he'd be happy.
12:10He thinks he'll be happy this time next week.
12:12And he said he doesn't know how to answer that.
12:14It's out of his control.
12:16He's just continuing to work with the players he's got.
12:18So there's been noise from Eddie Howe this week.
12:20It does feel like he is, he said it himself,
12:23he's a step removed from the transfer process.
12:25Look, he'll not tell us everything, of course.
12:28If there is a transfer close, he wouldn't tell us.
12:30But his words have been of a man that is removed from the process.
12:37And it doesn't seem like there's anything close now.
12:40We obviously know that the deal that's currently active,
12:42which is the Mark Gaye deal, I think...
12:45Do they go and get him this week?
12:47I think they've got to go and do it.
12:49If not, they've got to go and sign a centre-half.
12:53Is it Mark Gaye?
12:54I think the price, as I've said several times before, is extortionate.
12:57But they've been backed into a corner now,
12:59where they're heading into the final week of the transfer window,
13:01and they need a centre-half.
13:02So it'll be interesting to see if Newcastle must just give in and go...
13:07Look, we've looked at alternatives.
13:08We don't think there's anyone else.
13:09Mark Gaye's the man.
13:10We'll just have to pay the money.
13:12I think that because they've left it so late,
13:15whatever player they go for now,
13:16I think there'll be a premium price on top, if I'm honest,
13:19because it's quite obvious when you're casting that you're strengthened.
13:22Clubs know that, and that's why it's disappointing why they've left it so late.
13:27But having said that, if they get the business they need to do
13:29within the next week, I'm sure all will be forgotten.
13:34I think there was a sort of expectation, rightly or wrongly,
13:37that once they casted their PSR situation on June 30...
13:41They were unlocked.
13:42...they would be in a position.
13:43And I think even Darren Eales, when he spoke to the press at the start of June,
13:50he said he didn't want to describe it as a new era,
13:52but then sort of hinted that it was a new cycle and they could go and spend.
13:57And it hasn't.
13:58And obviously, if you go and spend ÂŁ60 million on one player, or even more,
14:02that is a lot of money, and that is spending money.
14:06They've just left it.
14:07They've just left it so late.
14:10Sorry.
14:11Transfer window.
14:12Time is of the essence.
14:14They've messed on with Mark Gahy for the best part of the month.
14:17We were in Japan when we first heard about Mark Gahy.
14:20Now we're two games into the season,
14:23less than a week left of the transfer window,
14:25we're still talking about Mark Gahy.
14:28People watching this will be sick of it.
14:30Oh yeah, absolutely.
14:31Just get it done, or don't.
14:32Like, move on.
14:34It's this sort of limbo everything's in, which is very frustrating,
14:40which brings you on almost to the goalkeeper situation,
14:42which is worth raising.
14:43Oh yeah, I know.
14:46What's going on?
14:48What is going on?
14:51It's such a minor point.
14:52It is.
14:53It's really minor, and I'm fully aware of that,
14:54because, look, it's a battle of goalkeeper on the bench.
14:57And, you know, touch wood, Nick Pope usually remains on the pitch.
15:02But they paid money for a goalkeeper in Odyssey's lackademos,
15:06and whether that was a...
15:07Look, we know it was essentially a trade-off for Nottingham Forest,
15:10we know that.
15:11We know that because Nottingham Forest got Elliot Anderson,
15:15Newcastle United took lackademos in return.
15:17But they paid money for him, and he's not even on the bench.
15:21Yeah, so Martin Dubravka wasn't on the bench today.
15:24The official line from the club is he picked up a concussion in training,
15:28simply following that protocol.
15:30So you'd think, based on the start of the season,
15:32Martin Dubravka's second choice to Nick Pope,
15:35and you'd think the goalkeeper
15:36who's played Champions League football for Benfica,
15:39he's about 30 years old, he's played for Nottingham Forest,
15:42arrived for a reasonable sum of money.
15:45Don't know the exact sum, but understand it's quite a significant fee.
15:49Newcastle's record fee paid for a goalkeeper,
15:51if you want to look at all the official figures involved.
15:55But, yeah, you think he's third choice,
15:59but then John Ruddy appears on the bench today,
16:01and Max Thompson from the Under-21s travels.
16:05He's the squad goalkeeper to help out,
16:08so no Mark Gillespie today, for whatever reason,
16:11no Odysseus Black and Demos.
16:14So I said on Friday about the goalkeeping situation,
16:17could one leave, you've got five senior goalkeepers,
16:19he said possibly.
16:20One has to leave.
16:21And for me, there's only two that can leave,
16:23and one of them is Martin Dubravka,
16:25we've been talking about months.
16:27Probably assumed would leave at one point.
16:29Yeah, because he's signed a goalkeeper from Nottingham Forest,
16:32and you think that knocks Martin Dubravka third on the pecking order.
16:35First Premier League game comes around,
16:36Martin Dubravka's on the bench.
16:38And then, as I say, you've paid money for Black and Demos,
16:42doesn't make the squad,
16:43so then is he the guy that's going to go?
16:46Or do they carry five goalkeepers?
16:48That could happen.
16:49That could happen.
16:50But it just, it would be, it doesn't make sense.
16:54How many teams carry five goalkeepers?
16:56No.
16:56Honestly, I'm getting so irate about a point that Litt is probably very...
16:59Doesn't actually impact the side that I'm in.
17:01It doesn't.
17:02But I just don't understand it.
17:04Newcastle will have to name the squad in a week's time,
17:0625-man squad.
17:07There won't be five goalkeepers in it.
17:08Does Black and Demos get left out?
17:10I don't know.
17:11John Luddy might.
17:12Michael Espy might, he's been left out before.
17:14How many goalkeepers are going to name the squad?
17:16You've done the 25-man squad,
17:17can they afford to name four goalkeepers and still have a strong squad?
17:20Yeah, depending on who leaves.
17:22If you're, like,
17:25your man Jamal Lewis leaves and stuff like that.
17:27He wouldn't be in anyway, would he?
17:29Probably not.
17:29No.
17:31Yeah.
17:31So, we'll see.
17:33If there's new signings though, players will have to leave.
17:37So, yeah, I think that's an interesting situation,
17:40even though it's a minor point in terms of where Newcastle actually stand on the pitch,
17:45which at the moment I think is slightly underwhelming.
17:48It's not quite the great start of the season you want,
17:51which, I mean, they made a poor start last season by all accounts
17:55after an initial great result against Aston Villa.
17:59And then the season before that, they made a very good start.
18:02So, well, actually, no, they didn't.
18:04They won one of the first seven games,
18:05but then eventually picked up.
18:07So, if they'd won today, it would have been their best start under Eddie Howe.
18:10Yeah, I mean, I'd go back to the Champions League season
18:13and beat Nottingham Forest at home,
18:15and then they came to the south coast and Brighton and scraped the jaw off.
18:19Yeah, so it's the same.
18:21The stars are aligned after that.
18:23Get in.
18:25Lucky.
18:26I think, overall, it's been four points in two games,
18:31I think, is a respectable start.
18:33I think you would have took that.
18:35Yeah.
18:35But it's a big week coming up.
18:37They're still in, probably.
18:40They're definitely not in top gear.
18:41They're maybe just out of first gear,
18:43and they've managed to pick up four points.
18:45It's a big week coming up,
18:47not just because of that Nottingham Forest game,
18:49but because of the transfer window.
18:51They have to go out and do the business that they need to do.
18:53I still think they will.
18:54I'm just disappointed that they've left it so late.
18:58But that's why the feeling around the club, I think,
19:01I'm trying to think of the word to describe it,
19:03it feels a bit flat, I think,
19:06not on the pitch and not what the players are doing,
19:09but in terms of that need and want for it.
19:11I don't know, I thought the body language of some players,
19:12and Alan Shearmer pointed this out, actually, on Twitter,
19:15particularly when they were getting beaten in the first half,
19:18the energy levels in their body language
19:21didn't look like the Newcastle we know,
19:24and that still needs to be addressed and improved.
19:26Yeah, you're probably right, yeah,
19:27because until the injection of substitutes came on,
19:30you're right, there was a big load on the game.
19:32We needed that.
19:32Yeah, yeah.
19:34So, yeah, I just hope, and I think it'll be a good week
19:39in the transfer window,
19:41because they'll get the player,
19:43a player, I think they'll only sign one,
19:45maybe might, as I mentioned in the video on Friday,
19:48might be able to push four,
19:50another player on a Lewis Hall-type deal, maybe.
19:52This is just our understanding in terms of the finances.
19:55Maybe they might spring a surprise
19:57and sign two players, two starters,
20:00because that's what they need now.
20:01It's no point signing squad fellas,
20:04which it feels like they've done,
20:06to some extent, this transfer window.
20:09They need a statement signing,
20:12if not a player that you think,
20:13right, he goes into the starting XI.
20:15Yeah.
20:16And that's what they need to do this week.
20:17Yeah, they'll lose something when Fabian Scherr's
20:19not in the team as well,
20:22which I thought Emile Kraft and Dan Byrne
20:24both did well today.
20:24Kraft and Boris, yeah.
20:25But, yeah, so they need that defensive boost,
20:29I think, as well,
20:30whether that be Fabian Scherr returning
20:32in a few games' time,
20:33or a couple of games' time,
20:35or new signing.
20:36We'll want to be going into that Tottenham game
20:38next Sunday at St. James' Park.
20:40Sandro Tonali's back,
20:41not a new signing,
20:42according to EDL,
20:44as much as the media might like to make it feel.
20:45That'll be a big, actually,
20:46I don't want to feel the football club,
20:48that'll change the feel, 100%.
20:50Depends on Wednesday night,
20:52because if you're out the cup,
20:54and don't sign a player,
20:55it's such an important week
20:57for Newcastle United coming up.
20:59And, yeah, I think,
21:01anything more to add?
21:03No, I think that's...
21:04Could maybe shout out Kieran Trippier,
21:06because what's going on with him,
21:08Eddie Howes once again said
21:10he's an important part of the future,
21:11and he's desperate to keep him.
21:13And I thought he was,
21:14he shows why he is Newcastle's best.
21:17Yeah, there's so many people
21:20want to get rid of him,
21:20and I can't understand it.
21:22I mean, I took a bit of flak
21:23from some people,
21:24not just on the YouTube,
21:26but Twitter as well,
21:27about I wouldn't let Kieran Trippier
21:29go under any circumstances,
21:31unless it was a financial decision
21:32and the player really wanted to go.
21:36As I say, I repeat myself,
21:37from a footballing point of view,
21:38it makes no,
21:39absolutely zero sense to let him go,
21:41because what's your option today
21:42when Newcastle are struggling
21:43on that right-hand side?
21:45All right, Fabian Schermann
21:46will be at centre-half
21:46and you've got Emile Kraft
21:47to bring on a full-back.
21:48That's not the same.
21:49You've got,
21:50and it would be the same
21:51with Kieran Trippier at the start,
21:51and you would be at a bit of pace
21:52and energy with a team of Romento
21:54coming on and getting them down the pitch.
21:55They've got two very,
21:56very good right full-backs there.
21:58It makes zero sense at all
22:00to weaken that right-hand side.
22:01So I hope,
22:03Kieran Trippier got a bit of love
22:04at the end there by the fans.
22:06I hope he's cameoed today
22:07in the way he helped settle the team down,
22:09made an impact.
22:10It makes people realise that,
22:12OK, he might be getting on
22:13and there might be times
22:14where he's not as good
22:15as what he used to be,
22:16but he's still a very, very good footballer
22:17and he should stay at this football club.
22:20I think it's ridiculous
22:21it's even been an argument.
22:22Like, I know he's made mistakes,
22:24but people seem to hold
22:26certain players to account
22:28based on individual mistakes.
22:30Look at Joe Linton.
22:31Joe Linton made a mistake today.
22:32Exactly.
22:33If Kieran Trippier makes the same mistake,
22:35I guarantee he's hammered for it.
22:37Opinions change
22:38when a player might be leaving.
22:40You try your best
22:41to almost devalue some fans
22:44just to make it feel
22:46when they do leave,
22:47ah, well, he was declining anyway,
22:49which is fair enough.
22:51So people are saying,
22:51oh, well, you know,
22:52if Trippier goes,
22:54well, you know, we've got
22:55we've got Emile Crafters back up
22:57and, you know, I think
22:59a couple of people
22:59even mentioned Harrison Ashby to me.
23:02Harrison Ashby is nowhere
23:03near this team.
23:04He barely kicked the ball in pre-season.
23:07He hasn't been seen, really.
23:11That's OK.
23:12If you look at the score on paper,
23:13I might go, well,
23:14yeah, you've got that player's back up.
23:15But I'm talking about quality
23:17and they've got two quality right backs.
23:19So keep the two quality right backs.
23:21There's no need to sell them.
23:22Unless, as I say,
23:23there's a big financial decision.
23:24But how much how much
23:26you're going to get for Kieran Trippier?
23:29As I say, I think football or finance,
23:31you keep them.
23:32But PSR world, it's difficult
23:34because if you can't make money on them,
23:36I do understand it because
23:39PSR forces you to make decisions
23:41that you don't want to make.
23:41We found that out in June
23:42when they sell Anderson and Minter.
23:47But take away PSR and Kieran Trippier
23:49shouldn't be going anywhere.
