00:12:19Hello friends. Welcome.
00:12:24Yeah. Welcome to Friday Night with Hunky Lee episode 170.3 I guess.
00:12:30Yeah. Welcome.
00:12:32Good evening.
00:12:35So I took a nap and then went to Alaska State Fair and yeah.
00:12:42Anyway, let me check on my food.
00:12:56Yeah, I mean, I was supposed to go to Walmart and do some shopping but maybe tomorrow, okay,
00:13:01because I guess to break out of routine, you know, make some variation.
00:13:07So I went to Alaska State Fair and again, Thai food.
00:13:10This time Pad Thai.
00:13:13It's like the flat noodle and it was good but too sweet to my taste.
00:13:18Okay, but still it was good.
00:13:20Okay. Yeah.
00:13:21Tofu and eggs.
00:13:22That was nice.
00:13:24And I went there like 7 p.m.
00:13:26So still parking is free.
00:13:28It was kind of late.
00:13:29So yeah, no traffic and no lines.
00:13:34So I ordered my food and then brought my food to the stage.
00:13:43They're doing this local band, wonderful local band, doing live performance.
00:13:48Okay, like drum, bass guitar, electric guitar, and vocalist.
00:13:56Fantastic.
00:13:57Yeah.
00:13:58I think they recognize me, okay, because, you know, I used to, like, perform in public, like, live band.
00:14:05I would, like, dance and then, of course, karaoke, right?
00:14:08So I'm quite well-known when it comes to musical circuit in Alaska, okay, so.
00:14:15Really?
00:14:16Yeah.
00:14:17Oh, yeah.
00:14:18They're quite great musicians and, yeah, I upload it after the songs and, yeah, make eye contact.
00:14:26Yeah.
00:14:27Fantastic.
00:14:28Oh, yeah.
00:14:29Huge fan.
00:14:30Yeah.
00:14:31Oh, yeah.
00:14:33Amazing.
00:14:34Yeah.
00:14:35And in the fair, looking at beautiful people.
00:14:38Yeah.
00:14:39Nice.
00:14:41Very cool.
00:14:43Yeah.
00:14:45It was nice.
00:14:48Oh, yeah.
00:14:54So in Facebook Live, yeah, I did watch Donald Trump's RNC speech, and he was pretty good.
00:15:00Yeah, he, at the first 10 minutes, like, he would recount his survival story, right?
00:15:06I'm glad he survived.
00:15:07I am.
00:15:08But some people see it as, like, maybe Trump himself included.
00:15:14Like, God saved him from that danger so that he become US president again, okay?
00:15:21But I would say I wouldn't go that far, okay?
00:15:27I wouldn't read too much into that, to that extent.
00:15:31Does God want Trump to be president again?
00:15:34I doubt it.
00:15:36Of course, I don't.
00:15:37But I'm glad he survived, okay?
00:15:39Yeah.
00:15:41Yeah.
00:15:44And does God want me to be US president?
00:15:52I don't know.
00:15:54I am not in direct communication with God, okay?
00:15:57I'm not.
00:15:59He doesn't tell me, okay?
00:16:03It's not like I'm hearing voices from God.
00:16:06No, I'm not.
00:16:09Yeah.
00:16:10I don't know what he wants.
00:16:12He doesn't tell me, okay?
00:16:13Yeah.
00:16:18But Kamala Harris campaign, yeah, getting momentum.
00:16:22Yeah, yeah.
00:16:25Yeah.
00:16:29Mm-hmm.
00:16:34Let's be objective.
00:16:35I'm running for US president myself, okay?
00:16:37So anything can happen.
00:16:38Yeah, sure.
00:16:39And I continue to run after four years.
00:16:41But objectively speaking, it seems Kamala Harris may have a good chance of winning.
00:16:51Okay, yeah.
00:16:52Yeah.
00:16:55Well, okay.
00:16:56Luckily, Kamala Harris does a Trump in that order, okay?
00:16:58Sure.
00:17:02Yeah.
00:17:03That's what it seems.
00:17:05Yeah, I'm okay with that.
00:17:08Yeah.
00:17:12And what else?
00:17:21Yes, I take a break from mathematics, okay?
00:17:23And it's just desirable, okay?
00:17:26Yeah.
00:17:31So I remember the very first time when I went to Alaska State Fair,
00:17:34I came to Alaska like nine years ago, 2015.
00:17:37Yeah, that time I was going through a difficult time because for three months I did not have a job.
00:17:45I was looking for a job.
00:17:47So I went to State Fair, basically looking very sad, okay?
00:17:53But nine years later, yeah, I went there alone nine years ago.
00:17:59And I go to State Fair pretty much every year, okay?
00:18:03I go alone.
00:18:05If I have a date, yeah, I go with my date, basically then girlfriend, okay?
00:18:11Yeah.
00:18:13And otherwise I go there alone and, yeah.
00:18:16So nine years later, yeah, I went there alone and, yeah, very happy, okay?
00:18:22Why?
00:18:23I have a job.
00:18:27Yeah.
00:18:29Like streaming services, like social media, like basically hosting like talk show, online talk show, okay?
00:18:38Yeah.
00:18:40Or like this is like a podcast, right?
00:18:42Yeah, because I'm just talking alone.
00:18:44Yeah.
00:18:47Publish some books, academic papers.
00:18:51Yeah, so I'm a happy person.
00:18:55Yeah.
00:18:58Hmm?
00:19:04Yeah.
00:19:10I have been blessed, but when I came to Alaska nine years ago, it was very dark days.
00:19:20For three months when I did not have a job, okay?
00:19:26I even thought about going back to Korea, okay?
00:19:34Yeah.
00:19:43After three months, I got a computer promo job.
00:19:46And it was 2015.
00:19:47After three years, yeah, I passed Alaska Biosim and I got a lawyer job, okay?
00:19:522019, yeah.
00:19:54Six years old.
00:19:57Yeah, still stand up right here.
00:20:01Yeah.
00:20:04Yeah, and, yeah.
00:20:08It's so cool.
00:20:10Okay.
00:20:13Okay, let's take five minutes break and then let's go to the time lapse, okay?
00:20:16Okay.
00:20:19After that, I'm thinking about, yeah, Facebook Live after that.
00:20:24So possibly the director's commentary on the second one.
00:20:32Therapy for Mental Phobia, okay?
00:20:34Yeah.
00:20:35Our kind and generous friends made some commentaries about the video.
00:20:39Yeah, I'm very grateful.
00:20:40Thank you.
00:20:41Yeah.
00:20:44Smart people, yeah.
00:20:45Some of them are actually filmmakers too, okay?
00:20:48Yeah.
00:20:49Thank you.
00:20:50Fantastic.
00:20:51Five minutes break, okay?
00:20:52Thank you.
00:20:53Yeah, time check.
00:20:54Yeah.
00:20:57Yeah, artists appreciating each other.
00:21:01That's beautiful.
00:21:03I have many friends who are musicians, like in film industry and modeling and all kinds of different artists, okay?
00:21:12Yeah.
00:21:13Poets and, yeah.
00:21:14We support each other, you know?
00:21:16Fantastic.
00:21:17Yeah.
00:21:18Like graphic designers and, yeah.
00:21:20Graphical.
00:21:21Five minutes, okay?

00:28:47Yeah.
00:28:48Yeah.
00:28:49So what's great about this live band is like I kind of know them, they kind of know me,
00:28:59you know, making eye contact and, oh, that's nice.

00:29:10Cheers.
00:29:11Yeah.
00:29:12Mm-hmm.
00:29:13Because these days, I only perform like singing, dancing or martial arts right here in this
00:29:38studio room in my house.
00:29:41But back in the days, I used to perform in public places like karaoke bar, dance club.
00:29:49When they play like live concert, local musicians, that's why they kind of know me, I guess.
00:29:59So.
00:30:00Yeah.
00:30:02Yeah.

00:30:36I still perform here, but just not outside house.
00:30:39Okay.
00:30:40So.
00:30:41Why?
00:30:42Yeah.
00:30:43Been there, done that, right?
00:30:44Yeah.
00:30:45So it was a good experience, but I'm getting older and need to preserve some energy.
00:30:54I kind of became busier, too, with all that mathematics, right?
00:30:58So, yeah.
00:30:59Being more economical and efficient when it comes to money and energy.
00:31:05Yeah.
00:31:06That's why.
00:31:07Yeah.
00:31:08But I really appreciate the local musicians.
00:31:14Yeah, they're fantastic.
00:31:15Yeah.

00:32:13Clubs, karaoke bars, the tailgaters,
00:32:15mugshot saloon, four corners, right?
00:32:19Yeah.
00:32:21In Anchorage, Chico Charlie, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:32:30Among others.

00:34:51So, Alaska State Fair is like any fair, right?
00:34:56Like, there's amazing food, fair food,
00:34:58and ferris wheel, and all this, like,
00:35:04some animals, like ponies, horses, yeah,
00:35:11and some big vegetables, because Alaska is very long,
00:35:17Alaska summer, long sunlight days, right?
00:35:20So the vegetable, they tend to grow very big,
00:35:24like pumpkins.
00:35:26Yeah, so State Fair, they have that,

00:38:06then Donald Trump in that order, okay, yeah, so.
00:38:10We'll see what happens.
00:38:11Yeah, but, mm-hmm, we shall see, yeah, oh, yeah.
00:38:30Kamala Harris, goods and bads, right?
00:38:33I like her smile, her laughter, her positivity, optimism.
00:38:42And I like her pro-choice,
00:38:52her sympathy for illegal immigrants, I like that, and.
00:39:00But other policies, I don't quite agree with her, okay, yeah.
00:39:06Israel, yeah, I love Israel, I love Palestine,
00:39:09I love both countries, and I'm optimistic
00:39:16they will achieve peace one day and live in harmony.
00:39:21They'll learn to coexist, right, yeah.
00:39:28Yeah, yeah.
00:39:32Yeah, thank you, mm-hmm, yeah.
00:39:37Yeah, oh, yeah, mm-hmm, yeah, future leaders,

00:40:02Yeah, I will run every four years for US president,

00:41:30Yeah, when I was in school, I never missed a single class,
00:41:37yeah, I always do exercise, so I never get sick, yeah, so,
00:41:46mm-hmm, yeah.
00:41:59Yeah, but when I was in Korea, like high school,
00:42:19middle school, okay, I do remember I missed some classes,
00:42:24not because I was sick, because I'm never sick, okay,
00:42:27I always exercise, always healthy,
00:42:31but I had to attend some event, I guess, okay,
00:42:35and now I had to catch up, right,
00:42:38like borrowing my friend's notebook and copying it down
00:42:45to catch up, you know, oh, that's not easy, right.
00:42:50This is not the same, right, yeah,
00:42:53learning from the teacher and from the blackboard,
00:42:56as opposed to just reading the book, right,
00:42:59learning by just reading the book,
00:43:01oh, that's a lot more difficult, right, so, yeah.
00:43:06That's why I didn't miss any class, okay,
00:43:09unless I had to go somewhere, you know, yeah, cheers, yeah.
00:43:18Mm-hmm, yeah.
00:43:25Mm-hmm, welcome, good evening, mm-hmm, future leaders,

00:50:39Cheers, happy Sunday evening, yep, oh, so good.
00:50:49Yeah, oh, but because I'm a liquor drinker, typically,
00:50:57wine is like grape juice, okay, welcome, good evening,
00:51:03yeah, yeah, so, yeah, I go to Alaska State Fair
00:51:13almost every year, and rarely I have a date
00:51:18to go there with, great, but otherwise,
00:51:21I just go there alone, you know, yeah, cheers, yeah, mm,
00:51:29and yeah, mostly I go to Alaska State Fair alone,
00:51:33and I've seen some other people, other Alaskans
00:51:37who go there alone as well, okay, no problem, so cool,
00:51:43yeah, yeah, so, yeah, yeah, well, first of all,
00:52:08it's cheaper that way, because I just buy food
00:52:13for myself, and yeah, so, cheers, okay, mm.
00:52:25But in the past, I had girlfriends,
00:52:31well, one at a time, of course, because I'm monogamous,
00:52:35sometimes my then-girlfriend would insist
00:52:38that she would pay for the food, okay, yeah.
00:52:42Yeah, oh, that's cool, too, yeah, yeah, oh, yeah.
00:52:54Don't do this, sometimes my then-girlfriends,
00:53:00some of them made more money than I did, okay, yeah, mm-hmm.
00:53:13Oh.
00:53:19Oh, where in Korea, I'm from South Korea, Seoul, yeah, yeah.
00:53:24Yeah.

00:55:39So, Alaska State Fair, many occasions, yeah,
00:55:44people with their family, right, yeah,
00:55:46their babies, married couples,
00:55:50it's beautiful thing, yeah, family, yeah.
00:55:54I really appreciate that.
00:55:56Although I don't plan to get married,
00:55:57I don't wanna have children,
00:55:58but I really appreciate people who do, I do, yeah.
00:56:03I appreciate that, yeah.
00:56:05Beautiful, yeah, family, yeah.
00:56:10It's nice, yeah.
00:56:16Mm?
00:56:19Oh, yeah.
00:56:27So,
00:56:32I went to Korea for two weeks vacation in June.
00:56:38Kind of May and June, right, two weeks.
00:56:41And,
00:56:45yeah, I met my cousins who are married with children.
00:56:50And actually, yeah, I met cousins,
00:56:52and I met other cousins last year
00:56:57when I went to Korea, two-week vacation, okay?
00:57:01And some of them would tell me, yeah,
00:57:05the difficulty of raising children, right?
00:57:07Yeah, I understand.
00:57:10Waking up in the middle of night,
00:57:13baby's crying,
00:57:16switching the diaper, and feeding them, right?
00:57:22Yeah, a lot of work, right, yeah.
00:57:24I really appreciate parents, I do, okay.
00:57:28Cheers, yeah.
00:57:32Mm?
00:57:35Yeah.
00:57:41Yeah.
00:57:53Yeah.
00:57:58So, my cousins, most of them are married, most of them, okay?
00:58:03And I'm very few of my dozens of cousins
00:58:09who are not married, okay, so,
00:58:13kind of outlier, right?
00:58:15But most of my cousins are married, and yeah,
00:58:18welcome, good evening.
00:58:20Yeah, and I met their spouses, mm, yeah.
00:58:27I'm happy for them, good people, yeah, yeah.
00:58:30Cheers, yeah.
00:58:34Mm?
00:58:38I met their children, too, yeah.
00:58:42Last year, right, yeah, for the very first time.
00:58:46It was nice, mm.
00:58:54So, how many cousins do I have?
00:58:58About, between like 20 or 30 cousins, okay?
00:59:02And they all turned out very well.
00:59:04They have very good jobs, okay.
00:59:08Professionals in South Korea, yeah.
00:59:11All of them turned out very well, mm.
00:59:15Good marriages, yeah, yeah.
00:59:25Yeah.
00:59:32Yeah.
00:59:35Yeah.
00:59:50Welcome, good evening, yeah.
00:59:53Future leaders, very proud, mm-hmm.
00:59:57Good evening.
01:00:01Yeah.
01:00:02Yeah.
01:00:07Yeah, so.
01:00:18Ah.
01:00:27Yeah, so, I don't really want Donald Trump
01:00:31to be re-elected, okay, because when he was elected,
01:00:35he tried to deport me, okay, he and his people.
01:00:40I don't wanna go through that again.
01:00:42Yeah, they decide not to deport me, okay.
01:00:43They asked me some documents I submitted
01:00:48to prove that I'm American citizen, okay.
01:00:54So, they decide not to deport me.
01:00:57But if Trump get re-elected this year,
01:01:01they may try again, okay.
01:01:03And I don't wanna go through that stuff, okay.
01:01:06So, I really do not want to see Trump being re-elected,
01:01:09okay, to me, it's personal, okay.
01:01:12Trump and some of his people
01:01:14do not see me as an American citizen.
01:01:17They see me as kind of an illegal immigrant, okay.
01:01:24Yeah, that's Trump and his people.
01:01:26Some of them, okay.
01:01:28And I do not want those people in the White House, okay.
01:01:32Yeah.
01:01:34Welcome, yeah, good evening, mm-hmm.
01:01:37Yeah, welcome, good evening, yeah.
01:01:39Very proud of you, yeah.

01:02:12Yeah.
01:02:17Cheers, yeah.
01:02:17Mm-hmm.
01:02:25Yeah.
01:02:31So Donald J. Trump, to me,
01:02:35is an existential threat, okay,
01:02:38because he and his people tried to deport me, okay.
01:02:44That's too extreme, okay.
01:02:46So I, to be honest, yeah, he makes me nervous, okay, yeah.
01:02:56I mean, people who are born and raised in America,
01:02:59they don't have that problem, right, Republicans, okay.
01:03:03I have many friends in the Republican Party,
01:03:05but I used to be a Republican, okay.
01:03:08Now I'm independent, okay.
01:03:09So Trump, he kind of makes me nervous, okay.
01:03:16I really do not want to see him being U.S. President again
01:03:20because he may try to deport me again, okay.
01:03:25So, yeah.
01:03:40Okay, I'm being honest, okay.
01:03:43Yeah.
01:03:45Oh, I'm talking to the camera, yeah, yeah.
01:03:49Future audience, imagined future audience, yeah, yeah.

01:07:17I heard that
01:07:20In California though animal fries are really good. I've heard that okay
01:07:25But I haven't tried yet. Next time I go to California. Yeah, I'll try animal fries. Okay, but they say there's no animals in name of fries
01:07:32Okay
01:07:35Just some cheese, I guess but not even bacon, okay
01:07:39Next time I try

01:08:57And
01:08:58My parents and I we traveled
01:09:02Right. Yeah
01:09:05to rural
01:09:06Regions in Korea. Well, just less traffic and less people and
01:09:12It's more quiet and rural
01:09:15clean air a lot of trees and
01:09:19It was beautiful. Oh, yeah
01:09:23So my father told me
01:09:26Hey honky, maybe you come back to Korea and if you do not want to live in a big city

01:48:05Mostly YouTube
01:48:09Wikipedia web pages on my cell phone
01:48:13We are living in a very good day and age these days. We can learn everything for free in the internet all the foreign languages

01:49:23Okay, he said he wrote
01:49:25How many years ago?
01:49:28Maybe
01:49:313,000 years ago, maybe
01:49:34Oh
01:49:352,500 years ago something like that. Okay

01:49:58Yeah, I read Bible three times back to back okay, yeah
01:50:03Although I'm no longer Christian. Okay. I'm
01:50:07humanologist
01:50:08Is reason I created
01:50:11Okay. Yeah, and
01:50:14But I'm heavily influenced by Christianity upbringing. Okay. Yeah
01:50:19so
01:50:23Mr. King Solomon said like 3,000 years ago something knowledge is better than gold
01:50:31And I agree
01:50:34I love gold. I never had one, but I've seen one
01:50:41In YouTube, I guess
01:50:42Yeah, gold gold is great in Alaska. We have a lot of gold gold mines. Okay
01:50:48I'm all for it. Okay
01:50:50but what I'm saying is like
01:50:53Gold is expensive
01:50:55Expensive
01:50:57Gold is beautiful, but knowledge is free
01:51:03In the internet these days
01:51:09Yeah
01:51:12Like Gutenberg project, right
01:51:17These days you can read the classical literature like Shakespeare you can even download it in PDF for free
01:51:26Although like philosophical
01:51:30Texts like
01:51:35René Descartes, the French philosopher
01:51:43Something like discourse on method or something
01:51:51Maybe Isaac Newton's like
01:51:56Principia Mathematica
01:51:59Natural philosophy of mathematics or something
01:52:04Something like that, yeah
01:52:09English translated, okay, so back in the day he wrote in Latin
01:52:16Something like philosophy
01:52:20Principia Philosophia
01:52:22Mathematica something like that. I have such a natural philosophy of mathematics or something like that. I haven't read it. No
