00:00It's been a tough start to the season for Hibs, today they face the Dundee team
00:03who have been tearing it up in front of goal this season.
00:08Dundee are going goal crazy again.
00:19Dundee 6-0 Inverness, Dundee threw that perfect record.
00:26Palmer holds it there, he'll score!
00:30Scott Tiffany fires Dundee into the lead, and Dundee are 3-0 up at half-time, what a performance.
00:446-1 demolition of Airdrie.
00:50This already feels like a significant game for Hibernian and David Gray,
00:53even at this early stage. The good news is they're not playing Celtic this week,
00:57but Dundee's scintillating start in front of goal means they'll fancy
01:00a first win at Easter Road for 23 years.
01:06Will Hibs give a debut to on-loan Celtic midfielder Kwon Hyuk-kyu,
01:10who is available after last week's League Cup defeats?
01:12Nicky Cadden also makes his first start, and Rudi Malotnikov comes back into the 11.
01:17Bashiri Campbell and Mariah Welsh drop to the bench.
01:21Dundee make two changes, in comes John McCracken for Trevor Carson in goal,
01:26and Ethan Ingram is replaced in defence with Billy Cometeo, who makes his first start.
01:34Ekpe Teta, well that's under-hit, and here's Tiffany for Dundee, rampaging forwards.
01:43Murray, Murray gets it back, arrows one to the far post,
01:50and that's poor from a beat-up, Cameron, jinking his way forward, and here's Tiffany!
01:56And Scott Tiffany, side-foots in, Dundee's 30th goal already this season.
02:06What a joyous start to the campaign it's been for those in dark blue.
02:13And Hibs, as has been the case in this early part of the season,
02:17causing all their own problems with that poor clearance.
02:21Cameron stays calm to make space in the box, and Tiffany does the rest.
02:26Jordan Ovita will hang his head in Monday's review meeting at that clearance.
02:33But credit to Dundee, they make Hibs pay, and it's 1-0.
02:44Tiffany.
02:48Overzealous with that pass, and Larkesh has really made the most of it though.
02:57Nik Poteta mops up for Hibernian, who are on the back foot early in yet another game.
03:06Cameron, switch of play, Murray with a touch, shot, blocked by his own player,
03:13and it's back to Cameron, deflected and in, but the flag is up for offside,
03:20and it's saved, Palmer holding, who I think was just fractionally off as he blocked Simon
03:28Murray's initial effort. It's tight, and the Dundee forwards getting in the way,
03:37and that means Cameron's crisp strike will be chalked off, and it will stay 1-0 at a restless
03:46Easter road.
03:56Ek Poteta, goes route one.
04:00Kuharevic, muscles his way in, and he's sighed down by Koumetio,
04:07and it's a rash one from the young defender on his first start.
04:17Newell spotted the ball, and then too quick, and Hibs will have a free kick in a dangerous
04:24position here, and they've had a couple of efforts already from this range, both taken by Nicky Cadant,
04:32and they were not even close to being successful, so
04:38as John McCracken readies himself, it's Martin Boyle who says I'll take this one,
04:44and that's why
04:48Martin Boyle with a minimum of fuss dispatches it into the top corner, and Hibs right on the
04:55stroke of halftime haul themselves level in a game in which they've struggled.
05:03Sweetly struck, it may have taken a deflection.
05:14Well how big a confidence boost, that goal just before the break of given Hibs,
05:19but it's Silla coming forward for Dundee now, and Newell this time guilty of a rash challenge,
05:29and he'll go into Colin Stevens notebook.
05:36Silla such an effective holding midfielder,
05:39taking off a pass and just driving forward away from Hibs players,
05:44and Newell felt he had to take one for the team.
05:49Luke McEwan and Lyle Cameron fancy this one, it's going to be Luke McEwan, click the post,
06:01albeit the outsides of Bursic's right hand post, very close, creditable effort from the Dundee
06:10captain. Bursic was flailing,
06:18but it stays one all. Tony Docherty aiming to be the first Dundee manager to win at Easter
06:24Roads in Sivano Benetti in 2001, been such a long time, and here's Martin Boyle.
06:31Always rising in the end that effort from Boyle,
06:39looks like he's got a bit more zest about him after that excellent first half free kick,
06:44dropped well, too high.
06:49McEwan, Dundee launch the counter, Tiffany sprays it into the path of McEwan,
07:06does well to hold off Newell, and it's deflected into Obita.
07:12And here's Cadden, searching for Martin Boyle, excellent first touch, Dundee in trouble,
07:22it's Martin Boyle, nowhere near the target in the end and the offside flag has gone up
07:31against Martin Boyle, so it wouldn't have counted at least initially,
07:35applause from David Gray for the intent nonetheless.
07:40Really good switch of play, Boyle flagged offside, not the finish he would have wanted anyway.
07:53McEwan's corner, Parma holding with the header, it's come back to him,
07:59Bursic well positioned, that is near post to make the save.
08:06Inviting corner, Palmer-Holden attacks it, denied at the second attempt.
08:16Thrown in to Bowie, holds off too, it's Bowie!
08:23And Kiro Bowie wants the noise turned up at Easter Road for his first Heads goal.
08:28And what a vital one it could be too, in the tenure of David Gray,
08:36as he looks to get things going on Heads now, on course for a first Premiership win of the season.
08:45Excellent strength, poise and composure from Kiro Bowie off the bench,
08:52holds off Koumeti with McEwan and buries it beyond the bracket.
08:57And it is Hibari in two, Dundee one.
09:03Boy enjoyed that one, and why not?
09:10Dundee so good in the first half and played their part in the second, now behind.
09:17McEwan stabs it forward and it's helped into the path of Simon Murray!
09:22He's done it!
09:28Simon Murray against his old club.
09:38And the Dundee striker enjoyed that one as much as every Dundee fan at Easter Road.
09:48Look what it means to him.
09:49So influential up top, never gives defenders a second.
09:59And when Hibs thought they were on their way to a first win of the season,
10:05it's Dundee's striker that pops up to prod it between Bursic's legs and grab the equaliser.
10:13Ohura just switches off and once again Hibs undone at the back.
10:23Newell's going to fling this into the mixer as Hibs search for a winner.
10:28It drops for Josh Campbell!
10:32Somehow it stays out off the bar.
10:37And now Dundee try to counter Josh Campbell with his hands on his head.
10:43He thought for all the world he'd put Hibs back in front of the death, but it was always rising.
10:51Just needed to be an inch slower.
10:55And Hibs left frustrated at Easter Road.
11:00He'll beat up.
11:03And a few boos ring out at Easter Road.
11:08Simon Murray's dramatic late goal after Bowie thought he might have won it for Hibs,
11:16means it ends all square in the capital.
11:19David Gray will have to wait for his first Premiership win of this season.
11:24Tony Docherty probably feels his side could have won this game as well.
11:29The Dundee fans enjoyed their day out nonetheless.
11:31It's finished at Easter Road, Hibernian 2, Dundee 2.
11:35Mixed emotions, standing here now.
11:38For the neutral I'd imagine it was exciting.
11:40Towards the end it was difficult at times to watch for certain reasons.
11:45But I think if you look at the game on the whole, I think we started poorly again, which wasn't great.
11:51Lose a really poor goal again and I think then as a result of that we looked a little bit nervy,
11:56a bit fragile because of that, but then credit to get back into the game just before half-time.
12:01That was a really important goal at an important time.
12:03I thought we came out second half in a much better frame of mind because of that,
12:07on the front foot, dominating the game, made a substitution to then triple-sub to try and go and win the game.
12:13So to find ourselves a goal down and then 2-1 up front was great.
12:18But then the reality situation is then to go and get pegged back late on makes it real difficult.
12:21It's a new group, I keep saying that to people, it's a work in progress.
12:25Again, there's people, Big Billy makes his debut today for example,
12:28Ziyad coming in, so it's a new group and we've got to find our way.
12:31But I think at the moment, something that's uncoachable is mentality and spirit.
12:35And I think you've seen that today, for a team to go at an intimidating venue to go 2-1 down
12:40and they turn that round and make it 2-1 each and almost go on and win the game,
12:44it just speaks volumes of their character and mentality.
12:47But, hugely proud of them.
12:50A great game to watch this afternoon, a draw probably just about fair in the end.
12:54No, not at all and I think this is a real danger for Hibs,
12:58that defensively there was problems last season, they need to shore things up.
13:02Kukarevic, the centre forward, was the one that was trying to get back in the corner.
13:05But you see here, O'Hara, he's pointing to Cameron.
13:08Right behind him is Joe Newell, who's tracked him back in, which is fair enough,
13:12but he needs to get out, otherwise this happens.
13:15And I think it's a real danger for Hibs,
13:17that defensively there was problems last season, they need to shore things up.
13:20But he needs to get out, otherwise this happens.
13:24And don't get me wrong, I mean look, O'Hara doesn't cover himself in glory
13:27going out and trying to shut Cameron down,
13:28Tiffany's quicker to react than Kwon who gets in and scores the goal,
13:32but this is a classic situation of people dropping into the back line,
13:36feeling like they're getting back into an area,
13:38but they're not doing anything, in fact they're making things worse
13:41because as Joe Newell goes to header this,
13:43he gets in front of a beater, who's got to do better with the clears.
13:45He's got to do a lot better.
13:46He does, it's a catalogue of errors.
13:48Cadden could perhaps do better when he slides in,
13:50O'Hara's got to do better when he tries to make the block.
13:53I mean, it's problems all over, and I say,
13:56the recurring theme from last season was defensively Hibs not good enough.
13:59They've signed two new centre-halves in Ekpiteita and O'Hara,
14:02they've got to come in and stamp their authority.
14:05And if they don't manage to do that,
14:08for all the good that's going to happen in front of that,
14:10better signings that it'll look like they're bringing in,
14:13they're still going to be fighting an uphill battle.
14:15They've got to create a stronger foundation to build upon.
14:19But I do think, having said all that,
14:22that football decisions are being made by football people at Hibs again,
14:26and you can start to see the semblance of things progressing,
14:29even though the results are perhaps not picking up just yet.
14:32But you think they will?
14:33I think there's a greater opportunity and possibility of it.
14:37I'm not going to guarantee it.
14:39That's good, very clear.
14:40It could have been two had Warnock interfered, Ryan,
14:44and this one was very, very tight and close.
14:46We didn't spot it for quite a while, did we?
14:49Yeah, as you say, I think very unfortunate for Dundee.
14:53And obviously Simon Murray could go down there, doesn't.
14:57And then Cameron obviously gets a deflected shot there.
15:01But I think you see in this angle that it's so tight
15:04when the first ricochet comes.
15:06I think it's just here when Murray shoots there.
15:09Yeah, it's very tight.
15:10And I think me and Mikey had a bit of a disagreement
15:12on what the final decision should be.
15:14That could have been a potential penalty there as well.
15:17Yeah, like a potato goes flying at Simon Murray.
15:19I mean, look, you know, it's a bit of a laughing joke
15:21with Ryan there in terms of whether it should have stood or not.
15:24I mean, technically, Pallon Holden is offside.
15:28But you've got to say,
15:28Hibs have had a massive slice of good fortune there
15:31because defensively, they don't cover themselves in glory again.
15:33O'Hara slashes at a clearance, lands at Cameron.
15:36They score, deflection.
15:38You know, they were very, very fortunate.
15:41The right decision, but fortunate.
15:44From that point on, they got better.
15:45They did get better.
15:46Well, that was what I was going to say.
15:47I mean, the thing there was they could easily have folded.
15:50The crowds were getting restless,
15:52but they showed a really good reaction with the equaliser
15:55and then to go on and take the lead.
15:57Yeah, these are the sort of, you know,
16:00green shoots of optimism, perhaps, for Hibs.
16:03When they looked as if they were going 2-0 down
16:06and they got that lifeline, they came back in it.
16:09That's a wonderful goal from Martin Boyle.
16:11The wall could have done better.
16:13And then you've got Kieran Bowie here,
16:14who's showing real strength, you know, real strength.
16:19It's something that happened in the Celtic game
16:21against Cameron Carter-Vickers as well.
16:23It's a terrible goal from Dundee's perspective to lose,
16:26but for Hibs, you know, a boy there, he's showing strength.
16:31He's showing that he's got something.
16:32And you look at, this is another point I was going to make before,
16:34when you look at, you know, three, four weeks ago
16:38and all Hibs said at the top end of the park
16:40was Dylan Venti, who wasn't scoring goals.
16:42The likes of Kieran Bowie coming in,
16:45Kukarovic coming back to the club,
16:47Caden out in the wide areas, Kwon in the midfield.
16:50You start to see like, okay,
16:51there's things that are getting put together
16:52that are better than what they had.
16:54Now they just need to start picking up some results.
16:56Simon Murray, 88 minutes.
16:58We've seen this movie before, popped up with yet another goal.
17:01We know what he can do.
17:03Again, it wasn't brilliant from Hibs defensively,
17:05but I really like his movement playing off the shoulder here.
17:07And again, it's an opportunistic finish.
17:10Yeah, I think as you touched on there,
17:11it's something that Simon Murray does.
17:13And I've seen it firsthand, obviously playing against him.
17:16He's always on the shoulder.
17:17He's always looking for the what-ifs.
17:19And obviously there, he just gets that touch.
17:21It comes through and then credit to him.
17:22He's composed and it's a great finish underneath the goalkeeper.
17:25But as I say, he's always on the shoulder.
17:27He's always alert and he's always first to react.
17:28Great signing for Dundee, isn't it?
17:30Yeah, definitely.
17:30I think he knows the league.
17:32He's played in the league for a long time,
17:35played at some good clubs, some big clubs.
17:36So I think it's a great signing by Tony Docherty.
17:40You've seen it with that sort of finishing.
17:42And do you expect Dundee to emulate what they did last season?
17:45Again, this season, it'll be difficult,
17:46but they're certainly showing really positive signs early doors
17:48in terms of entertainment and goals.
17:50Yeah, well, they've started strong.
17:51There's no doubt.
17:52I think obviously I know Tony Docherty really well
17:54and he'll definitely be pushing.
17:56He'll be pushing that group of players to go and repeat
17:58what they've done last season.
17:59And if not, he'll be pushing them to go and do even better.
18:02Okay.
18:03Totana race now as United look for a first win of the season.
18:06Standing in their way, Craig Levine's St Johnstone,
18:09who got their season up and running last time out against Kelly.
18:14It's been nearly a decade since Dundee United beat St Johnstone at home.
18:19That's certainly bogey team territory.
18:21Can Jim Goodwin's charges end their winless streak today?
18:25Two draws in the league so far,
18:27but a win last weekend in the League Cup.
18:29United are unchanged from that victory over St Baron.
18:32Kevin Holt continues his role in midfield.
18:35Just one change for St Johnstone after they were beaten by Rangers
18:37at the National Stadium.
18:38Cammy McPherson drops to the bench
18:40and is replaced by 19-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Aaron Esso.
18:49Babunski trying to turn away.
18:51United win the ball back though.
18:55Sibbold looking for Babunski.
18:58Wearing the captain's armband already at Tanadice.
19:01Is he caught in the face there by Jack Sanders?
19:04Play goes on.
19:06The St Johnstone fans weren't happy either, were the United ones.
19:12Jack Sanders perhaps getting a little fortunate there.
19:15Babunski still feeling the effects of that challenge.
19:18Let's have another look.
19:20Sanders shepherding the ball across
19:22and almost clotheslining the United skipper.
19:26Babunski not happy.
19:28Sanders goes unpunished.
19:35United knocking the ball all the way back to their own goalkeeper,
19:42and Walton is under a bit of pressure.
19:45Gets it away, Matt Smith looks up, has a go.
19:48That was always going wide, ambitious from Matt Smith,
19:53but that just shows the press of Kempioka and Sidibe.
19:58Almost working for St Johnstone.
20:00Levine hasn't managed against United in the top flight since 2004
20:07when he was still at Hearts.
20:11Need to get one over his old side today.
20:16Carey gets it down to Sidibe, turns away from Sibbold,
20:20tries, always going wide.
20:25The first half truly lacking in much quality.
20:29That's probably as close as either side have come so far.
20:41St Johnstone just enjoying a good spell.
20:44Here's Lewis Nielsen, another against his former club.
20:48Shifts it out to Matt Smith.
20:51Dre Wright, well blocked, comes back to Matt Smith.
20:56Up against Trapanovski.
20:59Oh, that's brilliant from Matt Smith, he's into the box.
21:03It goes down.
21:04Have a look at the referee, play goes on.
21:07That's the St Johnstone corner.
21:10The appeals from the far end are pretty loud,
21:14and here comes Cameron to complain.
21:19Smith rather throwing himself down.
21:23VAR not yet getting involved.
21:28The corner comes in, it's not very well cleared.
21:32Essel knocks it back to Andre Raymond.
21:37Clipping it back in, Kempioka goes down now.
21:41And still no penalty given.
21:44Grant Irvine is the VAR.
21:47We'll see if he chats to Don Robertson,
21:49doesn't look like he will.
21:51Slight pull maybe from York van der Sande on Kempioka.
21:55Nothing given.
21:59Cameron, looking long for Sidibe.
22:03And that is one of the most blatant handballs you'll see from Adamo Sidibe.
22:10Not quite the hand of God.
22:14And Sidibe goes into the book for a rather silly caution in the end.
22:19It's not even on target.
22:20Goodwin waiting frantically.
22:31I want to see better on this Dundee United side,
22:35as Tchaikovsky tries to close down Dre Wright.
22:40Eventually gets it back.
22:45The United have really struggled,
22:46they've not had a shot since the 16th minute.
22:50So he heads towards half-time,
22:52and Stevenson has sold that short, Kempioka around the keeper.
22:55That's a tight angle, he hits the post, here's Raymond!
23:00He somehow puts it over the bar.
23:05And he looks completely dejected that he's not put St Johnston ahead, Kempioka too.
23:14Well, that was a very narrow angle from Kempioka,
23:16he'd have done well to finish from there.
23:19Oh, but Andre Raymond, on the six-yard line.
23:22Maybe Ross Graham does enough to put him off,
23:25but St Johnston really should be ahead here at Tannadise.
23:29The Trinidad and Tobago international somehow skying it.
23:40Smith does well to turn that round the corner,
23:43and it's been a good start to this second half from St Johnston.
23:47Here's Kerry.
23:49Sells Gallagher with the dummy, drives from distance!
23:53Well, he caught that, Graham Kerry.
23:56Real power behind the shot, as Jack Walton tips it over the bar.
24:03That was absolutely flying.
24:0835 years old now, Graham Kerry.
24:11He's still got a rocket in him.
24:14What can he do from this corner?
24:17Smith offers short, he goes to the back post!
24:20And Kevin Halt does brilliantly to head that behind,
24:23and not put it into his own net.
24:27Lewis Nilsson was licking dangerously there.
24:34It'll be a worrying start to this second half for United.
24:39Jim Goodwin's side still without a league win.
24:42Here's Trapanovsky, ghosting away from Sanders, that's brilliant.
24:47Babunski in the middle, remakes the save, Stevenson's there!
24:53And United are ahead against the run of play.
24:58And it's the Liverpool lonely Lucas Stevenson.
25:04Well, he reacts quickest, and just tucks home the rebound,
25:07it's a good finish for his first professional goal.
25:12And St Johnston might feel aggrieved,
25:15but Josh Rae just pams that straight to Stevenson.
25:20Maybe he could have done better, the St Johnston keeper.
25:24Not a bad finish in the end from the United wing-back,
25:27and it gives them the lead at Tannerdyce.
25:34Lofted forward for Louis Moult just on,
25:37so he plays Christian Trapanovsky.
25:39That's a foul against him, that looked a bit harsh.
25:43Up against Jack Sanders.
25:47And Jim Goodwin felt it was harsh as well, he's going into the book.
25:51Well, he still looked pretty angry after United went ahead,
25:54but even angrier now, he goes into the book for dissent.
25:59Bresl.
26:01Smith round the corner, give him a link-up.
26:04Midfielder is right, crosses in, Kempioka's there!
26:09And he just didn't get enough on that header, the Swedish striker.
26:14Really is a good chance, brilliant ball in from Dre Wright.
26:17Kempioka gets the right side of the defender,
26:19but it's the wrong side of the post.
26:24And it's a goal for Liverpool.
26:30Kempioka, threatened to get in behind again,
26:33Sidibe on the volley!
26:34Into the side netting.
26:37Some St Johnston fans thought that was in.
26:40Moulton was sprawling, not to be for Sidibe.
26:51Sidibe on the turn.
26:53Ferry goes down, Sidibe has already been booked,
26:56and Don Robertson is going to his pocket again.
26:59Adama Sidibe will be off.
27:02St Johnston down to ten.
27:05And the mountain just got that much harder to climb,
27:08as Kevin Holt gets involved and then goes down.
27:11And it's all kicked off a bit here,
27:13Adama Sidibe reacting to that shove from Kevin Holt.
27:19Well, he's just making matters worse for himself.
27:23It looks a bit harsh, maybe.
27:25And does Sidibe strike Kevin Holt there?
27:29Oh, yeah, you can see it on the high behind.
27:33Adama Sidibe will be in real trouble for that.
27:37Perhaps a lengthy ban coming his way.
27:42And a real catastrophe for St Johnston.
27:46It's been a real battle for the half-hour that Moulton's been on the pitch.
27:52Well, that throw goes to United, Sandhu's couldn't believe it.
27:58Good chance for United to kill this game off.
28:08Cammy McPherson comes on.
28:10St Johnston need to make sure this game doesn't run away from them.
28:15They've had to take off Graeme Kerry, a real goal-scoring threat for them.
28:19Oh, it's fluffed up by Josh Rea, and it's in!
28:25Dundee United compounding their man advantage almost immediately.
28:31I think that might have come off Jack Sanders in the end.
28:36Josh Rea just completely missing the ball.
28:39And it hits off Jack Sanders and trickles into the net.
28:44And it hits off Jack Sanders and trickles into the net.
28:49United go two to the goods.
28:53And that is surely game, set and match.
29:04And there goes the full-time whistle at Tanner Deiss.
29:07United have done it, they've finally beaten St Johnston at home
29:10for the first time since 2014.
29:14And really, they've been gifted their two goals by the visitors.
29:18More importantly perhaps, United have won their first league game of the season
29:22and finishes at Tanner Deiss.
29:24Dundee United 2-0 St Johnston.
29:28It was a really competitive game, I thought St Johnston, like I said,
29:32I thought they were the better team in the first half,
29:34I thought we were the better team in the second half.
29:36We felt at half-time whoever gets that first goal
29:39was going to go and take all three points,
29:42and thankfully it was us on the day.
29:43You just try and put the ball in the opposition's penalty area
29:46and make them defend really.
29:48So if you've got that, why not utilise it?
29:50They're a nightmare to defend, even from ourselves,
29:53when opposition teams throw it,
29:54and they're a nightmare to defend.
29:55So if you can do it, why not?
29:57And Joss has just made an error.
29:59You know, when he punches the ball,
30:01that can happen to anybody, just unfortunately.
30:05It was the nail in the coffin for us,
30:08and then of course, as I say, the damage is set off as well.
30:10It's really difficult because I haven't seen it
30:12and somebody's saying that there was two yellows and a red.
30:19But I haven't been able to establish exactly what that is.
30:24I'll find out in the fullness of time.
30:26I'll probably find out when I watch it on the telly or something like that.
30:30Well, you'll find it out now if we've got it right, Craig.
30:33Not a game of the highest quality.
30:35United finding a way to win.
30:36We'll start with the incident with the Sidibe double red card,
30:40two yellows for the first red card.
30:43The second one, well, you can describe.
30:46Yeah, well, thanks for that, Tom.
30:49It was certainly proficient with his hands this afternoon.
30:52Sidibe, he's picked up two yellow cards in his first red
30:56for this one, flicking the ball away.
30:59And then he picks up a second yellow card
31:03for what's perceived as, you know, a catch and welfare in the face.
31:08For me, I think that's an incredibly harsh second yellow card.
31:12That's just a normal spin.
31:14You're trying to shield the ball and move away.
31:16I don't think he should ever have been sent off for that.
31:18Whereas his last act with his hand is perhaps going to get him in the most trouble
31:23where he catches Kevin Hope in the aftermath.
31:27And he really can't get away with that.
31:29And that's two red cards for three hand balls.
31:32And it's going to be a lengthy ban, I would imagine.
31:37Yeah, I mean, yeah, I'd agree.
31:40Andre Raymond, he had the biggest chance of the match for St Johnstone
31:44and he really should have scored this one, right?
31:46Yeah, I think we touched on earlier, he's got to score.
31:50Obviously, I'm sure when he watches us back tonight, it's an open goal.
31:55He's just got to side foot that in the net.
31:57He's probably gone with his side foot to give him a wee bit of safety net,
32:01you know, rather than trying to lash at it.
32:02Yeah, I think he actually does the right thing, side foot,
32:04but just doesn't get over the top of it.
32:06And yeah, it's an unbelievable.
32:09Because St Johnstone first half were the better side
32:11and this would have given them, obviously, a cushion going in at half time.
32:14I think the second half, their performance levels dipped.
32:17But it was United who took the lead.
32:19New signing, a loan signing from Liverpool, Lucas Stevenson.
32:22And then obviously, as we saw just there, the late OG, pretty poor defending.
32:27But United fought their way back in the second half.
32:30It was an improved performance.
32:31It was, but I mean, look, this is good play.
32:33You know, Trapanowski dropping the shoulder, beating Sanders down the line.
32:36And then the movement from Babunski in the middle there,
32:39the goalkeeper's got to do better.
32:40Josh Lee's got to get that palm away to the side.
32:43But if you watch here, as Trapanowski gets down the line,
32:46this movement there, that's brilliant.
32:48The defender perhaps could be tracking him a bit better.
32:50But I think, you know, credit to the attacking side there
32:53and Stevenson stepping in to get the rebound.
32:56And this has got to be defended better, Ryan, hasn't it?
32:58Yeah, definitely, I think.
32:59I don't see why the keeper feels like he should come there.
33:01I think if the keeper doesn't come and stays on the line,
33:05he could maybe catch it if it hits the back of the defender's head.
33:07If not, I think the defender probably gets a clear head at it
33:10if the keeper's not there.
33:11But yeah, I think the keeper just should stay on his line
33:14and he doesn't need to come there.
33:15For Dundee United, three games unbeaten in their return to the Premiership.
33:19They're into the quarterfinal of the League Cup as well.
33:22I think Jim Goodwin's got to be really pleased
33:23with the kind of early signs for this team in the Premiership moving forward.
33:27Yeah, definitely.
33:28I think they've got good experience in their squad, Dundee United.
33:32Players that have played in Scotland throughout the league.
33:34So they've added quite a lot as well this summer.
33:36So I'm sure Jim Goodwin's pleased with the start
33:39and I'm sure they'll look to build on that going forward.
33:42Yeah, St Johnstone.
33:43I think there has been some kind of shouts from their supporters,
33:46a feeling of optimism for this season.
33:48We know how the last couple of seasons have been a struggle at times.
33:51There's optimism there.
33:52They've certainly got players who can go and be more creative and better for them.
33:56Do you share that optimism?
33:57Well, I think obviously it's primarily based on the fact
33:59that they've got a great result against Kilmarnock in the league.
34:03The other two games, they've come away with defeats.
34:06But yeah, I think when you look at, particularly at the top end of the park,
34:10with Sidibe who obviously got sent off and Kimpioka,
34:13who are looking like a threat.
34:15I've got to be honest, at the back end of last season when they came in,
34:17I didn't see that was going to be the case.
34:20But certainly I would imagine that if they're able to keep that form up,
34:25they'll be able to score goals, which was a big problem for them.
34:27Enough to keep them away from the bottom?
34:29Possibly, yeah, possibly.
34:30Scoring goals is a massive thing for these sides.
34:32If they've got somebody that can do that,
34:34as we saw with Simon Murray at Ross County before.
34:36OK, well, as ever, there's loads of football to come this week for you across the BBC.
