00:00Here's the thing with Bo Nix, and maybe this is just me and I can't shake it, but I watched
00:06Bo Nix long enough at Auburn in the SEC to be terrified of Bo Nix.
00:11And then he gets dropped into Oregon, right, with a giant offensive line.
00:15I mean, those were some big boys there and he had a lot more time and an offense.
00:19It was very simple that he was able to get rid of the football quick to get the lowest
00:23a dot right of any quarterback in the NFL, in the college football season last year.
00:28So yeah, okay, the success was easy for those reasons.
00:32So I am really skeptical that Bo Nix is going to come in now.
00:36If you draft the guy in the first round, yeah, you better be playing Bo Nix.
00:40You absolutely better because your options are Jared Stidham and Zach Wilson.
00:44It's not like you have options.
00:45So Bo Nix is your option.
00:47So I'm not surprised he's the starter.
00:49I will give him credit so far in the preseason he's been okay, but I also want to practice
00:53a little bit of patience with that too and slow the roll.
00:56Because you've also got, well, let's see, Kenny Pickett a couple years ago, played pretty
00:59well in the preseason.
01:00I remember Matt Jones playing pretty well in the preseason too before he struggled a

01:05So just because you played well in the preseason doesn't mean it's going to transfer over.
01:09And the Denver Broncos have a lot of problems still.
01:12They're getting rid of pieces like Justin Simmons on defense when you're losing big
01:15leadership pieces like that.
01:16It's always difficult, I think, in any clubhouse.
01:19I think that you're looking at, you know, an offense that is still trying to figure
01:24things out in the post-Russell Wilson era.
01:27You've got Cortland Sutton.
01:28He's a good player.
01:29You've got Javante Williams, who really is, I think, at a fork in the road.
01:32If he does not perform well, he will be gone and they will turn the page from him and he'll
01:36be somewhere else and then out of the NFL in two years.
01:39That's the pace he's on if he doesn't have the big season this year.
01:42So there's a lot riding on this for Sean Payton and for Bo Nix and for this organization with
01:46this pick.
01:47The thing that just made me just bananas during the draft is if they wanted Bo Nix, you didn't
01:52have to take him there.
01:53I don't think anybody was moving up to take Bo Nix in the first round.
01:56I did not think he was a first-round quarterback.
01:58If they had buzz that they thought he was going to somebody else in the first round,
02:02you should have let him have him.
02:04I think there's a lot of different ways they could have gone.
02:06So I don't know.
02:07Do you think that Bo Nix is the savior of the Denver Broncos?
