00:00So, the Dodgers have built a little bit of ground here over
00:06the fills in the National League standing for that top
00:09overall spot. A two and a half game advantage as the Dodgers
00:12swept the Seattle Mariners at home this week. They stay at
00:16the ravine this weekend. They're close to a two-dollar
00:19favorite against the Tampa Bay Rays. What's the play tonight
00:22in Los Angeles? Yeah, usually don't take a Tampa Bay Rays
00:25game and think it has a chance to go over but I think this
00:27game does have a chance to go over the total. Bobby Miller's
00:29going to be on the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Only
00:31155 batters on the season but elevated power numbers against
00:35at 243. A weighted on base percentage at a 416. That's
00:38bad. If we isolate just this last month which he doesn't have
00:41a lot of work, only 22 total batters. That's a 286 iso and a
00:45weighted on base percentage of 465 but also, it's not a great
00:49lineup whatsoever as you sort of factor in that Tampa Bay
00:52Rays. So, let's take a look at the opposite side. You look on
00:54the mound here. Tyler Alexander for the Rays has been okay.
00:57He actually struggles a little bit more with left-handed
00:59batters than righties but if we include the entire season, Ben,
01:02for this left-handed pitcher, 329 batters. He's faced an iso
01:05of 209 and a weighted on base percentage of 337. The one
01:09thing I will say, if you don't necessarily want to take a
01:11total to the over this game or even a side because you think
01:14the price point might be just a little bit too high for the
01:16Dodgers. Just focus on those three batters in the middle of
01:19the lineup here and again, you say, well, Donnie, Joey Otani
01:22is not the middle of the lineup. We're going to leave
01:23him out of it. It's Mookie Betts. It's Freddie Freeman and
01:25Teoscar Hernandez. 579, 387, and 384 are the weighted on
01:29base percentages of Betts, Freeman, and Teoscar Hernandez.
01:33If you don't like the price, if you don't like the total
01:35itself because you can't trust the Rays here, just take one or
01:38two of those players in the middle of that lineup here to
01:40get RBI opportunities. They will here. At least one of those
01:43three is going to come away with an RBI tonight for me,
01:45Ben. Donnie, I'm glad that you highlighted Mookie Betts in the
01:49middle of that lineup. Joey Otani has remained the leadoff
01:52guy but really when you go up and down the offensive lineup
01:55for the Dodgers, patient hitters at the plate. Here are
01:59the walks per game for everybody on the Dodgers and
02:03Mookie Betts leads the way. So, walking Betts is what we have
02:08here at .61 walks per game. Shohei Otani and Freddie
02:12Freeman at .55. So, the walking Betts there, something always
02:16to keep an eye on. Yes, it is. Absolutely keep an eye on at
02:21that point here. Sorry, I got distracted by a moment here. My
02:23screen blinked and threw me off but yeah, let's just go with
02:25that simple question and answer right there. How about that?
02:28But D.R., I just want to make sure you saw the title of the
02:32graphic. What's that? Walking Betts? Yeah. Well, no. See, I
02:37don't. Now, I see it right now. I don't really get to look at
02:40the actual screen behind me. I'm more focused on the camera
02:43at this point and I got distracted by my odds were
02:46changing. So, I didn't expect a comeback here to that Dodgers
02:50question. I was already moving on to Arizona and Boston at
02:53this point. So, there you go. Alright, well, we'll talk in
02:56the commercial break. It's such a good bit, man. It's such a
02:59good bit. You hate when even like inside innuendo jokes go
03:03over the one guy that needs to hear it. We'll get back to it in
03:07just a little bit.
