00:00The San Diego Padres have now lost two games in a row, almost
00:07unheard of the New York Mets, a cross country flight without an
00:11off day. They played day baseball at Citi Field on
00:14Wednesday afternoon, walking it off. Donnie's guy, Jesse
00:18Winker against the Baltimore Orioles. He had an RBI
00:21yesterday. Mark Vientos, three ribbies for the Mets and Luis
00:25Severino outduels Dylan Cease as the Mets take the opener in
00:29San Diego winning eight to three. Yeah, I thought this
00:32game would stay under. Did I know that they're going to
00:34score seven times combined in the ninth inning? My goodness
00:37to have eleven, but also in a game where you're going up
00:39against Dylan Cease and that travel, you get seventeen hits
00:42for the Mets and eight total runs in that game. You'll take
00:45it any way you can. Now, granted, see six and a third
00:48innings, only two earned runs. The bullpen sort of imploded,
00:50which is supposed to be the strength of the San Diego
00:52Padres. Hey, man, let's keep winning here, trying to get
00:54closer and closer to the Atlanta Braves here and get in
00:57that wild card hunt. And Donnie, if only your
01:00Philadelphia Phillies could help out the New York Mets, but
01:04I guess that's a divisional rivalry through and through
01:07because Atlanta still maintains a game and a half lead for that
01:11third and final National League wild card spot.
