00:00The Dodgers now four and nine in the 13 games as a dog, the fewest amount in all of MLB,
00:10but a bad record as San Diego continues to stay hot in this Southern California rivalry.
00:15The Padres have now won nine of their last 10 games with an 8-1 victory as a minus 130
00:22home money line favorite yesterday against Los Angeles.
00:25Yeah, sometimes teams make you look good with the handicaps that you have.
00:28I teased it quite a bit yesterday on the early line, like, hey, watch out Padres might
00:31be in for a game that night.
00:33And then, of course, later in the show, breaking it down, Dylan sees has been really good so
00:37far in the season.
00:38You take a look at him now, 11 and eight overall.
00:40So the record doesn't show, but five and two thirds innings pitch one earned run.
00:44That's good enough to get the job done.
00:45And the question marks now are going to come up on Clayton Kershaw.
00:48You don't get a strike that I get.
00:49That's usually the read on if a pitcher has his stuff with three and two thirds innings
00:53pitch seven runs.
00:54I understand only three of those earned at this point, but you were hoping that Kershaw
00:58could help you down the stretch.
00:59We even talked about it over the past couple of weeks.
01:01It's not so much Kershaw being there for the playoffs as one of your top two or three pitchers,
01:05but it's Kershaw helping you bend down the stretch, eat up some innings, get you some
01:08quality starts and let that talented lineup take over.
01:11You didn't even have a chance yesterday, eight to one Padres.
01:14I expected a win for the Padres by seven runs.
01:16Not necessarily.
01:17That's a big time win for the pods who continue to play really good baseball.
