Now, bars celebrate birthdays all the time, the difference for Finders Keepers is that they are celebrating in style, with one of the worlds most impressive bars doing a takeover for one day only. We headed down to see what the owners had planned.

00:05because it's their one year anniversary of opening here in Manchester and to do it
00:09they've got some great things lined up. We're gonna go in, we're gonna talk to the owners,
00:12we're gonna have a little drink and we'll discuss what's going on this weekend that you need to keep an eye out for.
00:17With Finders Keepers brilliantly located along the marina,
00:20it really is the perfect location to go Costa del Manchester and that's exactly what the co-owners have in mind.
00:26Today's our first birthday. So officially today we are one year old.
00:30We have a week-long celebration, which is a Madrid themed celebration.
00:34We have a mile activation today and then on Sunday, we have a bar called Salmon Guru from Madrid.
00:40They're number 16 in the world. They're gonna bring their bar to our bar and it's gonna be
00:45amazing.
00:48Salmon Guru are a massive name in this world and it's a testament to Finders Keepers that they've been able to organise this.
00:53But what exactly can we expect?
00:56So they're basically, they're gonna make our bar look like their bar and they're bringing their own menu.
01:04Effectively, they're picking their bar up from Madrid,
01:06bringing it here to the marina in Angcote and it's gonna be mega.
01:11Now the international side of things is undoubtedly exciting,
01:14but Finders Keepers first birthday was largely celebrated by friends and regulars and that's exactly what Liam and Amy had in mind.
01:21The work's been tough, but the actual ambition and what we set out to do has been achieved.
01:28Do you know what? It's been pretty wild.
01:31But also I think we've actually achieved what we really wanted to achieve.
01:35We wanted to be a neighbourhood bar, but with world-class drinks offering.
01:40And I think we're really lucky, we've got a really good bunch of regulars who come in three or four times a week and we've got a real solid neighbourhood vibe.
