00:00Now let's go elsewhere in the NFC West. The Los Angeles Rams, a playoff team, a
00:07double-digit win team a season ago because Matthew Stafford and Cooper Cup
00:12were healthy in the emergence of Pukanukuwa as well. Can the Rams replicate
00:18that success once again? The win total is eight and a half, albeit the over does
00:24have the heavy juice. In fact, LA has moved slightly in front of Chicago for
00:29the seventh best make playoff price of NFC teams. What does that mean? Of course
00:35there are seven teams that now make the postseason in each conference. The Rams
00:39based on the odds makers would have that slight edge over the Bears. Donnie, what
00:44is your expectation for Los Angeles in 2024? That's a tough one for me and not
00:50to say I don't think they can be a good football team. Like no, not even a
00:53devil's advocate needed here. Let's just say they're all healthy, which includes
00:56Matthew Stafford all the way through for 17 games. That's a playoff football
01:00team in the Rams that might even be able to change the San Francisco, excuse me,
01:03challenge the San Francisco 49ers. But the same way I'm talking about the
01:06Niners, who I do think they have a quality football season and quite
01:10frankly, maybe the most talented, but they're entering the season with a lot
01:13of question marks. Some through injury, which is Christian McCaffrey and some
01:16through players holding out. You never want to get those, that animosity like
01:20behind the scenes. They don't respect me. They don't. We still don't know what's
01:22going to happen with Brandon Ike. But again, talking about their left tackle
01:25Trent Williams, we expect them to be back in camp. Let's just say everything
01:29goes right for the 49ers and Matthew Stafford's hamstring injury event is
01:33not an issue. Week number one and moving forward. If you have a healthy
01:36and again, Pukunuku was banged up in training camp as well. Let's just say
01:39you get to the starting gate. Healthy Matthew Stafford hamstring is fine.
01:42Pukunuku and Cooper Cup and Williams. Like you have the tendency here with
01:46Sean McVay to have a high octane, ready to rock offense, which is half the
01:51battle in the NFL. It is a younger defense and you lose Aaron Donald. I
01:54understand that, but I'm not talking about the Rams on a stage of they can
01:58make a run to the Super Bowl. The expectations for me are competitive
02:01team week to week when it's all said and done, three games left in the
02:04regular season, there's still vying for a playoff position and maybe it even
02:08is for the NFC West. But there's a lot of question marks right now for me on
02:12an aging quarterback and a team that might not be as talented overall as the
02:16San Francisco 49ers. That's who I head into the season with the Los Angeles
02:20Rams.
